Season 1 Episode 11 - Thicker Than Water
Lisa-
Mystery of Jack Bartlet unfolding before my very eyes. ….. You don't see the point in buying a new truck even though they changed the model 10 years ago. And even though it seems where this is going you didn't bring me up here to propose.
Jack-
Well that's the thing. I haven't done a lot of socializing since my wife died and if I do well its (breaks of doesn't know exactly what to say)
We were married a lot of years good years. (Again stops and doesn't know how to continue)
Lisa- Promts Jack
How did you meet?
Jack-
Tells her how she was a singer in a road band following the rodeo circuit and that's how they met, etc.
We spent our honey moon right here and after the funeral I spread her ashes in the river.
Lisa-

Jack-
I didn't mean to go on but I just don't want there to be any misunderstanding or surprises if whatever this is continues past the little fishing trip here.
Lisa-
Well whatever this is, I hope it does continue because i have a few 100$ worth of fishing equipment I'll never use again.
They both toast to whatever this is.
If you would all be so kind to give me your take on what do you think Jack means in the above context when he says the part in bold.
I just don't want there to be any misunderstanding or surprises if whatever this is continues past the little fishing trip here.

Thanks all for reading and feedback would be amazing.
