Gamelover41592: I think that everyone was more then a little shocked at that backstory reveal.

Matt (Guest): There are two games(plus one DLC mode) left.

Me: I finally beat Bug Fables! Now I can get back to writing!

Life: LOL! School's starting again and you're going on vacation!

Me:...(Profanity)

So life keeps handing me a bad deal. But we are at the final island before we confront the Pirate Master. But something interesting with this one is that, in the normal game, Bolo was suppose to be helping out the Techno Baron because he didn't feel appreciated back home. However, because he was allow to come to Tan Line Island, he no longer does(also he's still partly recovering from Risky's kick to the nuts) Let's get going!

After the last island, everyone on board the ship was excited to see the sun once again. Of course, the freezing cold wasn't exactly something they were excited for either. And coming off of a very long detour/fetch quest for a sword for some wannabe hero, nobody was really in the greatest mood.

"This is it. Frostbite Island. End of the line." Risky said. Shantae was more concerned with another problem she was having.

"Oh my gosh, it's freezing!" She exclaimed as she frantically tried to warm herself. "I'll take the burning sand and lava any day over this!"

"I'm not having any problems so I don't know what you are complaining about," Jasmine said, deliberately ignoring the reason she wasn't cold was because she had turned into a polar bear. Shantae promptly mounted Jasmine. "I deserved that,"

Risky rolled her eyes before speaking again. "We'll find the fifth and final den of evil here. If we can destroy the source of his power one last time...the Pirate Master will be finished!"

"I'm r-r-ready!" Shantae managed out. Her outfit was not meant for this weather and Jasmine was not being helpful whatsoever.

"I'll make sure she doesn't come back as a popsicle," Jasmine promised before setting off. Shantae did her best to hold on while trying to keep herself warm. If they went back to town, she was getting a jacket. Maybe convince Bolo to give her one of his vests. At least those were warm. Suddenly, Jasmine stopped short, almost sending Shantae flying off her.

"Why'd you stop?" Shantae questioned. Jasmine held a claw up to her lips, signaling for her to be quiet. She then pointed to a clearing. Ammo Baron was talking to a strange crocodile like man. "What is Ammo Baron doing this far out?"

"No clue. Let's listen in," Jasmine whispered as she inched a little closer.

"Blah…..blah...won't tolerate any more of you DELAYS!" Ammo Baron snapped.

"Calm yourself Baron!" The man replied. "The weapon will be ready to fire, I promise you! But you can't rush art!"

"Art?" Ammo Baron asked, confused. "We're talking about a device that...Ka-Blam-O! Turns villages into slag heaps!"

"Sssss...you worry too much. The weapon will fire. I designed it myself." The man replied. "The palace will fall. And when it does...you will have complete control over all of Sequin Land!" Jasmine and Shantae looked at each other. They both knew that they were taking a little detour before they hit up that den of evil…

"Sequin Land!?" Ammo Baron scoffed. "HA! I won't stop there! The entire world will be my garage! Lock! Load! Shoot the core! BOOSH-WAAAH!"

"Yes, yes. Why don't you return to that Scuttle Town where it's nice and cozy?" The man offered.

"He's got that right," Shantae grumbled as she rubbed her hands on her arms.

"I'll have the device sent to you the moment it's ready." The man said in an attempt to pacify Ammo Baron. It didn't work

"You're stalling again, Techno Baron!" Ammo Baron snapped.

"Relax!" Techno Baron replied. "My men are taking care of it!"

Ammo Baron grumbled. "That module better come soon!" With that he stomped off. Jasmine jumped behind a tree, preventing them from being spotted by him. Techno Baron, on the other hand, was another story.

"You two!" He ordered. "Run ahead and check on my men! See what's taking them so long with that targeting module! Rough them up if you have to! They are in my new floating factory...Propeller Town!"

"We're...on it," Jasmine replied. She had a plan.

"It's even worse up here!" Shantae whined as she tried to warm herself up. She was freezing and wanted to get this over with. Meanwhile, Jasmine had found the targeting module and was walking over to her sister.

"So this is how Ammo Baron's gonna attack," Jasmine noted.

"So we are throwing it into the ocean, right?" Shantae asked.

"I got a better idea," Jasmine said mischievously. With a quick movement, she opened up the back of the module and tore out several wires. "Oops."

Shantae burst into laughter before walking over to her sister and pulling out a computer chip. "It's not like it will need that anyways!" With more laughter, the duo continued to rip out the wires. They so couldn't wait to see the look on Ammo Baron's face when the weapon backfired on him.

Upon flying back to town, Shantae and Jasmine were both shocked to find a place they barely recognized anymore. What was once a charming little fishing town was now nothing more then another one of Ammo Baron's military bases. Both girls quietly agreed that if the cannon didn't do him in, they were going too.

"There's my favorite guardians!" Ammo Baron greeted joyfully. "And you have my targeting module!"

"We hope you put it to good use!" Jasmine said with a tone of forced joy. She was barely biting back both malice and vomit. With a shout of joy, Ammo Baron quickly attached it to a large cannon.

"I still need that good for nothing Barracuda Joe!" Ammo Baron grumbled. "Oh no...I heard there were zombies on Spiderweb Island! Maybe they ate him! I should send someone over there." He then realized who he was talking to. "Hey you two! Go make sure no zombies ate him!"

"Sure thing, 'Mayor' Ammo Baron," Shantae replied. One quick trip to Spiderweb Island to get Joe's spirit later and the girls returned to Sky's home to set Joe free.

"Both of you, get away from him!" Sky snapped.

"Huh?" Both girls asked, confused as to why Sky wanted Joe to stay frozen in stone.

"Leave him!" Sky repeated. "She's an eternal testament to my status as a bachelorette!" Jasmine and Shantae both looked at each other, not exactly sure how to take this. They knew Sky had bad luck with guys(no thanks to her parents), but was she really taking things this badly?

"No way!" Shantae finally spoke up. "I won't let you waste your life standing there like that old man we destroyed!"

"You destroyed," Jasmine clarified, causing Shantae to pout.

"We give you….Barracuda Joe!" Shantae exclaimed as she put the soul back in its body. The stone crumbled away, setting Joe free.

"Hmm. Barracuda Joe's alive," Joe said, not even bothering to sound surprised. Sky, on the other hand, looked overjoyed.

"This is absolutely incredible!" Sky cheered. "How did you two do this? You are both the most amazing friends ever! I'll never question either of your judgements ever again!"

"Er-hmmm," Joe cleared his throat. "Joe's had time to think. An' urrrrr….lotta fish in the sea. An'all that. Whelp! Back to work!" With that, he walked out. It took Sky a few seconds to realize what had just happened.

"WHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAATTTTTT!?" She shouted. Jasmine and Shantae both shared a nervous look. "COME BACK AND MARRY ME YOU SCUMBAG!"

"We're gonna go too," Jasmine quickly replied before practically dragging Shantae out. Outside, Ammo Baron was getting excited.

"Ker-pow! We're all set!" He cheered. "Thanks girlies! Glad you finally decided to join the winning team!"

"Winning team indeed," Jasmine said, with only Shantae catching the hidden meaning.

"But before we give you two your army uniforms. Let's run down the checklist…" Ammo Baron said. "Power at maximum?"

"Aye sir!" One of the vacationing girls, Vinegar, replied.

"Firing station?"

"Finger on the trigger!" The other girl, Twitch, responded.

"And you're sure that targeting module is installed properly?" Shantae and Jasmine shared a knowing look.

"She's up ter code," Joe replied. "It ain't gonna miss

"We'll see about that!" Jasmine thought to herself.

"Meaning it's going to hit the target, right?" Ammo Baron clarified.

"Absolutely," Joe replied. "She's locked onto the palace, sir," Jasmine and Shantae shared a nervous look. Now if this didn't work, Sequin Land was doomed.

"Then fire on my mark!" Ammo Baron ordered. "THREE! TWO! ONE!"

"FIRING PALACE DISRUPTOR CANNON!" Twitch called out as she fired a giant missile. Everyone watched as it landed…

On the Techno Baron.

On Frostbite Island.

Jasmine and Shantae were fighting back laughter. They would have been fine if the cannon just didn't work, but making Ammo Baron blow up Techno Baron was way better!

"Report!" Ammo Baron barked, still convinced he had just hit the palace.

"Shot fired successfully sir!" Twitch replied.

"Yes, but…" Vinegar began. "...the incorrect target was destroyed,"

"W-W-WHAAAAAAATTTTTTTT!" Ammo Baron cried. How did he miss?!

"We fired over the Sequin Land palace...and blew a hole right through Frostbite Island!" Vinegar admitted.

"Who's responsible for this nightmare?!" Ammo Baron demanded.

"Targeting module's hooked up right as rain," Barracuda Joe replied.

"THEN HOW…"

"Problem's right here," Joe continued. "The darn thing is missing so many wires and chips. Hmmm...Muster been whoever engineered the thing."

"That's one way to put it," Jasmine jokingly whispered to Shantae, who fought back a series of chuckles.

"How long 'till we can fire again?" Ammo Baron asked, not ready to give up yet.

"Gonna need ter get a new module," Joe replied.

"Blast! Someone find the Techno Baron! SO I CAN WRING HIS NECK!" Ammo Baron ordered.

"...I am not telling him," Twitch mumbled.

"Maybe we should check out that hole…" Jasmine offered, remembering that they could not find the den of evil normally.

"Could be a good idea," Shantae replied. Jasmine shifted back into dragon form, Shantae climbed on, and they flew off.

"I guess it's a little better down here," Shantae grumbled. The abandoned factory the girls landed in was still very cold, but lacked the wind from the above island. While Shantae was still cold, she was forced to admit it was a little warmer.

"Let's get moving," Jasmine replied. Despite being abandoned, some robots were still roaming around the frozen remains of the factory. These quickly became annoying as they exploded whenever the girls did enough damage, forcing them to dive for cover. Monsters also still roamed the factory, adding another layer of danger to the factory. Much of the machinery was also now dangerous.

"Is this a cannon!?" Shantae exclaimed. In the chest, the girls found a surprisingly light cannon which could be used to gain height via firing it downwards.

"I finally don't have to carry you up every gap we cross!" Jasmine jokingly cheered.

"Risky's thing is cooler anyways," Shantae jokingly fired back. The girls laughed as they flew out of the pit they were in. They found the local monster later. It was a strange metal worm thing.

"Why does that look like something Ammo Baron would have made?" Jasmine asked.

"No idea," Shantae replied as she readied her hair. "But let's take it down!" Defeating the Steel Maggot wasn't even very hard, as all they had to do was hit a series of lights on top of it and wail away at it's exposed tail. Even the shots it fired if they got the sequence they had to hit the buttons in wrong weren't too hard to avoid. As they began to leave, however, another Tinkerbat was found.

"Hey! Get back here!" Jasmine barked out. Once again, it ran off, dropping another map.

"Another map...hmmm…" Shantae thought out loud as she grabbed it.

"This is the last place!" Jasmine exclaimed once they made it back outside.

"But then...why is there another map?" Shantae pointed out. She then shivered again. "Brr...guess we shouldn't waste time thinking about it!" Taking her sister's cue, Jasmine shifted back into a polar bear, Shantae climbed on, and they raced back for Risky's ship.

"You both made it back in one piece!" Risky exclaimed once she saw them, actually sounding excited. "And with the cannon, just as I suspected."

"Yeah, we all make a pretty good team," Shantae replied. Jasmine just nodded. "Maybe…"

"Maybe what?" Risky asked.

"I dunno...I thought maybe...you'd change your mind and join the good guys for a change," Shantae admitted. Jasmine smiled a little. Her sister was always so forgiving.

"Me join you!?" Risky scoffed. "HA! You'd better focus on the task at hand. These five islands were the source of the Pirate Master's evil power. With his creatures and servants neutralized, we've got him on the ropes. It's time to deal the final blow! The genies sealed his bones in a tomb. The location is known to no one. If you could somehow find it…"

"How about this?" Jasmine offered as she handed Risky the map they had gotten from the Tinkerbat.

"Give me that!" Risky snapped as she snatched it from Jasmine's hands. "INCREDIBLE! This is really it! The secret location of the Pirate Master's Grave. Come on. We're going to have a look. Everyone boarded the ship in high spirits. They might actually pull this off!

So I finally got this finished. Took longer then it needed too. Anyways, I will see you all next time for the final chapter of the Pirate Curse story arc. See you then!
