Terra slowly came to. Her body felt odd; like there was a countdown and she could count the days she had left until...something?
She looked up directly into the eyes of her Opiluke, not realizing she wasn't in her prison anymore.
"How are you feeling, sweet spark?" he inquired with genuine concern. Terra could feel his concern too. Megatron had a certain cold touch, but he tried his best to be gentle with her.
"Not great," she responded honestly. "I don't know how to explain it."
:Then let your Spark do the talking.: His spark brushed against hers. She felt confusion from him; even he didn't understand completely. "Why do you feel so much dread?"
"I don't know." Terra laid her head down again, getting used to the new sensations she felt now that her Spark was fully awake. "I had a weird dream."
"Oh? What about?"
"I was separated from my family; Alexis and the Autobots on one side, and you on the other. Something kept pulling me away from everyone and told me to choose one side, but I reached for both."
Megatron's interest perked at that. She didn't know if he found that ridiculous or whatever.
"Why both? The Autobots have no relation to you."
How did I know he'd say that? She scowled at him, making the giant chuckle at her pitiful attempt of intimidating him. "Blood of the covenant is thicker than water of the womb."
"Hm?"
"I didn't have a family until I met Alexis; she and her mother were the closest I got to having a family. I would take a bullet for them. The Autobots have been nothing but kind and protective, something that's always been nonexistent for me for a long time."
"So they have your trust...That is understandable, but don't get your hopes up of seeing them anytime soon."
"Why?" She projected her disappointment to him and he was unfazed by her emotions.
"Because they stand in the way of my empire, and therefor are my enemies." He slowly got up, still holding her in his massive hand. "The ship will be finished soon, and then those Autobots will be finished."
"Wait, ship? How did you guys get to Earth if you didn't have one already?"
"We warped here," he replied with a slight smirk. "I believe it's now time for you to get back to your quarters. Starscream should be done with the atmosphere field with it so you can take off the collar in there."
Terra sighed in relief hearing the last bit, but still worried about Megatron's thinly hidden threat against her friends on Earth. How was she going to warn them in time? Light Racer couldn't help her any time soon and she doubted that Tidal Wave would willing help her get a message to them.
Alexis sighed, wishing Terra was with her and the others right now. The boys were getting excited over the comet due to pass Earth tomorrow night; she would've loved to see it. Not only that, but Alexis had picked up her sister a new game from her favorite series, Fire Emblem. Maybe that's how she got her sense of strategy; it was a strategy based game after all.
