My heart slows down and the fire increases closest to my heart. Please, please, please, please just kill me. I can't bear the pain. Kill me! I yell inside my head and then suddenly my heart stumbles and beats one more time before it grows silent and unmoving, the fire disappears and suddenly I can hear and feel everything around me.
"Bella, love, please open your eyes." My angel begs with a thick, worried voice as he squeezes my hand. I open my eyes and search the room quickly. I can see EVERYTHING, since when did dust become beautiful? I breathe in deeply but don't feel the relief, hmm odd, well vampires don't need to breathe.
"Edward?" I ask as I see him hugging my torso. His head snaps up at a vampire speed and a beaming smile takes place on his lips as he pulls me close and kisses me.
"Oh Bella, I thought you were dead. I love you so so so much. Please say you still love me." He murmurs into my hair as he breathes in my scent. I hug him closely and breathe in his sweet calming scent.
"I'll always love you, Edward," I murmur and he smiles widely as he pulls away.
"How do you feel?" He asks and I think a little about it and then I beam at him.
"I feel great! I'm not tired or in pain! This is the best I felt in several months!" I say and get up from the bed and stretch my legs out even though I don't need it. Suddenly the door bursts open and in a second a very excited small pixie-like vampire attacks me with a hug. I tense and in less than a second I have her pinned against the floor, growling. A cold hand grabs my shoulder and I snap at it before I look up and meet his eyes. Jasper growls warningly as he floods some calm into me. I look back down at Alice who is just laying there relaxed as she fixes my clothes and hair. I jerk away and run over to Edward, seeking comfort from him immediately.
"Sorry Alice, Jasper." I murmur as I curl into Edward's arms as he pulls me onto his lap.
"I told her not to do it but…." Jasper starts and everyone nods understandingly.
"She's Alice." We all state and then start laughing.
"Thanks for changing me Jasper. I love you all… for eternity." I whisper too low for a human to hear but by their answering smiles I know they heard me and agree. We have forever together.
