Hi everyone. Sorry about that last A/N but I just wanted to let that be shared with the lot of you. I am still fit to carry on working, something that I had not managed to do after first hearing the news that the doctors had given me at the start of the month. The doctors have told me to do something, which is really needed at the moment with everyone in lockdown and everywhere closed. The world has gone mad with this virus. Lets hope it doesn't last long and the world can go back to normal soon.
So the doctors have found out what was wrong with me. The mass in my chest and the lump in my neck was cancer. What a great time to get diagnosed with cancer when there is a Virus pandemic affecting the whole world. So I have already by this point done 2 cycles of my treatment which the doctors are saying will last either 4 or 6 months.
Chapter 35
London was a battlefield. Only a matter of hours ago the city had been treating the day like any other day. People had been going to the shops or their work for the day when the attack had came out of nowhere. People had ran for cover as monsters and supervillains that the Avengers had faced had attacked the streets. The civilians or London had thought that the Avengers were not going to come to their aid with how quickly the attack had came out of nowhere. But they had been proven wrong. The Avengers along with their allies had been quick to launch an counterattack against Seth and his allies. UNIT was already evacuating the civilions out of the way of the ongoing fights that were happening in all directions.
A loud roar from the sky caused people to drop to the ground as Nightshade flew through the high buildings of London with one of the Serpent Sisters right behind her in her large snake form.
Nightshade folded her wings close to her body as she rolled in between two buildings. Behind her the Serpent Sister slammed through the buildings. The massive snake hissed as rouble from the now destroyed buildings fell all around her. Glass and steel got stuck in her scales but the Serpent Sister was only focused on getting Nightshade. Her yellow eyes narrowed as she saw the Dragonoid hovering just in front of her.
"Viper stop this madness!" Nightshade shouted at Viper. Her huge wings kept her airborne above the city of London. She could hear the shouts and screams of people down on the ground as they fled from the five blocks that Viper and Nightshade had taken up. It didn't take a military genius to know that there was going to be a fight between the two of them. Viper was the larger out of the two of them. Her massive serpentine body curled into the striking position. She had destroyed a few more buildings as she had gotten into the strike position.
"The madness is what man has done to this world! They need to be guided and that is what Seth will do for them. He will put the mankind where they belong: at our feet!" Viper hissed back at Nightshade.
Nightshade narrowed her optics. So that was Seth's plan. The Avengers had a basic understanding of what Seth had been planning but to hear the plan from one of his generals. it made this whole fight more vital than they first had thought. "Mankind no longer needs Old Gods like Seth and you! They have developed so much in such a short time in the universe! Man is not going to roll over onto their belly and allow Seth to walk all over them!" Nightshade snapped back at Viper.
"Mankind is like sheep. They need a brave shepherded to lead and protect them!" Viper responded back to Nightshade.
"More like an enslaver! Viper Seth is using you to destroy the wonders that man has created. They have expanded and have built so many cultures and traditions since the fall of the Old Gods!" Nightshade shouted back at Viper.
Viper hissed as her whole body tightened up as she prepared to strike. Nightshade was just able to move out of the way as the Serpent Sister's huge head just passed the tip of her wing. Opening her wings at the last minute Nightshade regained her balance in the air as Viper once again prepared to strike at Nightshade.
Nightshade watched as Viper snapped her jaws at her direction. The massive viper snarled at her and Nightshade knew that once again Viper was going to attack again at any moment. Nightshade clenched her claws together as she got ready to fight the Serpent Sister. She was much smaller than the Serpent Sister who was no doubt going to use their greater size to their advantage, but she was going to use her smaller size to her advantage. Growing up on Cybertron she had always been a different size and shape to the others that were around her. Optimus even when he was still known as Orion Pax had always been taller than her. During the Cybertron Wars when it was still raged only on Cybertron she had used her size, speed and stamina to their full potential against much larger and stronger Mechs.
Red optics narrowed and yellow eyes narrowed as the two reptile like creatures stared at each other.

Edward's axe smashed into the ground. With a tug he tugged the axe out from the ground and swung it at Leatherback. The scaly ape and the Ghoul had destroyed a good portion of the street that they were on. People who were still on the street had been wise to get out of the way of the two brawling brutes.
"Come on Eddie! Can't you see that you are still a slave? Just to a different slaver?" Leatherback asked as both he and Edward caught their breathe after ducking it out against each other for an hour of non stop.
Edward depowered his axe and put it back into its seethe on his back. "I am no longer a slave! Yes Nightshade can be a drill sergeant on a few occasions but that is only during an important battle! I can leave the Guardians any time that I wish!" Edward snapped back at Leatherback. He would never leave Nightshade and the Guardians. It wasn't anything to do with her getting him out of the pits, he was long past that. He was best friends with Nightshade, Julian and Black Horn. Now that had expanded to the Avengers.
Leatherback snorted back at Edward. "Then walk away! We use to be best friends! Then she came along and ended our fun and games!"
Edward glared right back at Leatherback. "Yes use to! But you were changing! You enjoyed fighting in the pits. I wanted nothing more than to get out of there! Which did happen thanks to Nightshade and the other Guardians!" he snapped at Leatherback.
Leatherback flared his nostrils in rage. He had always known Edward to be weaker out of the two of them. The Ghoul had a sense of honour that had stayed with him even in the Pits where it had no business at all. Edward when compared to the likes of Nightshade and Black Horn were just a brute.
"Then so be it!"
