Arriving on The Great Fox, Krystal made sure to guarantee nobody was watching. She could sense through her telepathy that everybody was sleeping, so she made her move. She gestured her hand, and so, Wolf came out of the shadows and walked into the mothership.

"Please, make it quick. Fox will flip out at me if he finds out I let you in." Krystal commented.

"Relax, princess. It's only gonna take about 10 seconds." Wolf reassured her.

"Are you sure you're going to find what you're looking for in here?" She asked him.

"A normal house computer can storage about a billion high-quality surveillance videos. Are you telling me the most sophisticated mothership in the whole galaxy can't do that?" Wolf asked her.

"I'm just making sure you're not setting yourself up for disappointment." Krystal said as hey continued walking.

Once they arrived in the Bridge, Krystal made sure to input a few commands into the main computer. She entered the date Wolf told her about and the computer started searching. In a few seconds, the computer returned a set of about 24 files with that date. "This is gonna take some time." She said as she clicked on the first file and they both started watching the videos.

Two hours have passed and the videos finally got into the part Wolf wanted. About 10 years ago, he used to command a gang of notorious space pirates that often clashed with James McCloud. Through their battles, Wolf and James grew to mutually respect each other, becoming sort-of friends in the process. But one day, in their final confrontation in Sector Z, James mercilessly annihilated all of Wolf's crew. Wolf was thought to be dead, but he survived with his left eye injured. He then swore revenge on James McCloud for this incident.

Or at least, Wolf thought it was James' fault. As he watched the video feed, it was clear that the pilot who fought with him and his men that fateful day wasn't James, it was Pigma Dengar. Wolf clenched his teeth. He still remembered how that dirty pig convinced him that it was James' fault that this all happened, convinced him to form a plan that would kill James and destroy Star Fox. It was even Pigma himself who came up with the idea to form Star Wolf and enter the Lylat Wars to murder James' son as part of his revenge.

All this time, and just now Wolf was learning he had targeted the wrong people. Krystal could pick up his thought patterns and noticed how Wolf watched the video blankly, his expression turning somber and somber by each minute passed. She turned off the video and turned to him. "Are you going to tell Fox about this? Or should I?" She asked him, Wolf figured she must've read his mind.

"I will." Wolf answered. "I don't know when, but I will have to tell him about it someday."

Krystal stood silent and looked away for a minute, then she turned to him again. "So, what are you going to do now?"

Wolf rubbed his forehead and told her. "I don't know. I've spent so much time just focused on taking down Star Fox. I don't know what else I'm gonna do with my life." He then looked outside the mothership through the front glass, watching the Cornerian landscape in all its natural beauty. "Maybe it's finally time for me to start over, I'm pretty sure I'm not gonna get an opportunity like this again."

Krystal smiled, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Are you going to tell Fox about your other secret as well?"

Wolf then narrowed his eye at yer and pushed her hand away. "You tell him a goddamn thing and I'm gonna throw the pardon up the general's ass just to kill you." Wolf then looked outside again, avoiding looking at her. "You know... you're lucky to have him."

Krystal was about to say something, but then, she picked up something. Her teammates, they were about to wake up. "You need to leave, now!" She said, inputting a few more commands into the computer to delete the surveillance footage with Wolf in it.

"I know the way out." Wolf told her, walking away from the Bridge, then out of the Great Fox, never looking back.

THE END

To Power-Guardian-Ryan:

Aw, you didn't need to post as a guest just to write a bunch of nonsense at me (and yes, I know Judge Justice is you).

Dude, Wolf and Krystal don't exist. I won't "suffer heavy consequences in real life for ruining their reputation", because they are just a figment of someone else's imagination. They can't hurt me in real life, they don't have a reputation, they're just a bunch of pixels in a videogame. I could literally write a new fic where Wolf is a lesbian mermaid and it wouldn't matter, because he doesn't exist.

As for your entire rant "I'm not homophobic, I have nothing against gay people, they just shove their sexuality onto others' faces when Star Fox is not about romance or shipping!" You have a Star Fox romance story favorited in your account. That, my friend, is called hypocrisy. And whether you intended it or not, your comment came out as EXTREMELY homophobic, especially when you resort to comments like "gay people shove their sexuality onto others' faces!"

And I don't really care if you never advertise this story as good to somebody else, because again, it was never meant to be anything more than a big joke. And like you or not, people have laughed. There's several messages on Twitter, Discord and even in the review section of people laughing their asses off, because this story is so over-the-top and ridiculous that nobody in their right mind should be genuinely offended by it. Hell, even my friends on Discord, the ones I directed this fic to, laughed about it when I told them this entire fic was nothing but a big prank on them.

You should be laughing too, but here you are writing walls of text trying to lecture me on why I'm such a horrible person and deserve every single death threat I've got because I dared to mock characters that don't exist. Claiming I "hurt other people by making certain characters look bad", writing homophobic comments because you ship other characters, telling me I deserve to be murdered by these characters in real life, among other horrible things. These comments would be hilarious if they weren't troubling.

This is exactly what I mean with a portion of the Star Fox fandom being toxic and taking characters way too seriously.

I really suggest that you seek some kind of help in real life, because getting so worked up and wishing death on people over something so harmless as a bad fanfiction is extremely unhealthy for you.

I guess the same goes to everyone else who took this fic seriously and wrote similar comments.

There are more important things in life than getting offended on behalf of videogame characters.

I hope the rest of you at least had a good laugh while it lasted!

This is all folks, Goodbye ❤️
