A:N- people say I made EMIYA instant-feminine. Magus think rationally and logically remember? And he must act as his new bodysuit would, so nobody's the wiser that the princess isn't the princess anymore. Cynical bastard he may be, he was once from Emiya Shirou, the embodiment of his ideals so all he knows and personality and skills, that's him and with Taiga for a Guardian, he's basically a House-Husband and too much of a superhero-wannabe that never got to be a proper male and normal human being his age and up. He wasn't a normal MALE TEENAGER AND MAN, too set on his ideals.

Now, EMIYA is compensating to live an actual life and do what Shirou would never do(be an idiot selfless hero) while also, living in his own way as a Princess and do what princesses do...while being the snarky bastard he is while also painfully aware he's also living a lie as he cannot be himself. He truly has to adopt being Princess AND being a girl.

The Mad Scientist

Enchanter Course...

The Faculty, through Cang He were aware in advance how strong Beiyue really is, but rather applied in Enchanter Course as other courses cannot satisfy her creative pangs.

She clearly prefers sorcery and tool-making.

For now, first day is simply orientation and introduction in many classes within the Enchanter Course.

Elemental Sorcery, Barrier Sorcery, Security Sorcery, Illusion Sorcery, Non-Elemental Sorcery and Magical Craftsmanship.

She was interested and motivated to learn.

Come lunch break...

Beiyue got wind of an incident in school just as school let out for lunch.

'Princess.'

Lianyi has an uncanny ability to track her down for some reason as Beiyue opened up a Camping Picnic Area by taking out a large umbrella, a blanket with a hole in the middle so the umbrella can be stabbed into the ground, and put out sitting cushions, and added an extra portion set to their lunches.

'Good day, Prince Yi.' Beiyue greeted, taking out a spare cushion for him to sit on. 'Shoes off the blanket.'

Yes yes.' Lianyi said bemusedly as he took his shoes off. 'I heard you made a painting for Prince Xiaoyao too.'

'Its his request since he wants a memory of mother at a time he fell hard for her...when she's sixteen.' Beiyue smiled ruefully. 'I made it to his specifications. Have you seen it?'

'Yeah, he showed it off and its beautiful.' Lianyi said, praising the painting. 'But really, your style is unique. I've never heard of a colorful, life-like painting...not even the Painting Faculty can do what you can.' he remarked in admiration. 'Well, it became the second painting that moves around.'

'Hoo, boy.' Beiyue looked amused, knowing of how her royal uncle brings the painting with him everywhere and now Xiaoyao's doing the same as soon, Dongling came for lunch.

But she looks cross!

'Did someone die today?' Beiyue inquired as Dongling was annoyed, but maintained manners before the prince as she settled down. Lianyi wondered what warranted Beiyue's words if Dongling was allowed to kill or maim anyone who annoyed her.

'That thick-faced bastard, asking me to set up a private meeting with you! That Xue Che!' Dongling fumed, making her lady twitch. 'So I kicked him between the legs!' Lianyi went O.o and Beiyue snorted into her tea. 'After what he did he had the nerve to demand a private meeting? Hah!' she grunted as she took out their lunch.

(elsewhere, people were wondering why a maid can kick a gongzi between the legs and why she angrily did it...)

'Well, we won't be seeing him for a while.' said Beiyue, rather chipper about it. 'Anyway, lunch? The first day is so boring.' she chatted nonchalantly as well as mockingly about how the day went as she looked far too amused.

'Well, probably to ease newcomers into the course.' said Dongling. 'Its my first day of my second year we have classes immediately.' She is now a Mystic Rank 2 and she'll soon take school leave to cultivate to be able to continue her classes, after studying the remaining recipes for that level. She gained respect in Lingyang School for it and there were those jealous of her cultivation and rapid rise in such a short time. So she would often get into fights started by her rivals, only, she beats them without trouble, a testament to her cultivation and skill in combat, AND owning a rather high-class sword made of material only the likes of Marquee and Dukedom can afford past royalty! Its practically a national treasure by itself.

When teachers got wind of the incident, Dongling was glad she was always around witnesses to vouch for her. She injured a ton of egos come seventh month onwards. And on her first Sports Event, she showed why she was worth her rank in public. While others put in a lot of effort to refine pills and materials with a few flaws or two, she did hers flawlessly, making perfect products, thus getting to join her first Camping Trip with other students two months later. She was a capable warrior in handling herself against forest beasties while the other young masters and ladies squirmed and reluctantly fought Spirit Beasts.

They can fight other people, but nervous with Spirit Beasts...and Dongling made a contract with a Rank 6 Spirit Beast, the Trapdoor Spider. It nearly killed a few kids by springing out of its hiding place without warning, teachers had to rescue their students while Dongling assisted in fighting it off with help from Summoners. By making a Contract with it, she is now a 4-Star Summoner. Normally had she been just a beginner summoner just past basics, she'd be just a 2-Star Master, but with her current cultivation BEFORE becoming a Summoner, it added to her levels. 4-star at just age twelve! The wealthy reach that level at age 20 while those well-off take longer than that! And fighting her with a Trapdoor Spider is asking for trouble, when it nearly killed all students in that camping trip.

'Yes, because orientation is long-since over.' Lianyi quipped. 'Because in increasing a student's level, time waits for no one. Your rise is pretty fast when Pharmacists struggle to take years.' the two young girls with him sported deadpan looks. And he wonders why.

'Well...miss would tell me something interesting as to why most Pharmacists never ascend past lower Yellow Ranks.' Dongling deadpanned. 'Buuut to avoid rivals I shan't say a word while I enjoy lording it over those crabs.'

'...crabs?'

'Its a saying I taught Dongling.' said Beiyue. 'Crab Mentality is a trait people have who are jealous at those successful in life and do their darndest to pull them down, evidence when she told me of many attacks on her last year, jealous of her privilege and fast rise as an Alchemist. They panic if their peers are getting ahead in life and they don't, yet not lift a finger to better themselves. Thus they decide, 'if I can't have it, neither can you'.' she stated with a cold smile. 'Its what came to my mind when I purchased seafood for my businesses...I was given bucketloads of crabs. And try as they may to escape the bucket, they pull each other down while they're at it yet never truly getting to get out. Pulling each other down instead of focusing on one's own effort or work together to succeed...there you have it.'

It was a saying Emiya Shirou heard of in life when he traveled around Asia and came to Philippines, and heard a foreigner discuss it with some pals.

'That's...intriguing. Safe to say this school is almost full of crabs among noble children.' Lianyi quipped, intrigued. 'Then again, I've heard many things in the grapevine myself.'

Instead of going home as soon as possible, Beiyue and Dongling went cultivating.

They always packed big lunches that also double as dinners when leaving home, just so they can cultivate freely until 10 pm.

Then a nice bath before bed.

Such was their routine...if not for Beiyue occasionally making her...smelly paint colors.

Then a week later, she got a painting request from Fang, because she wants Ling to get married soon and needed a little promotional help for further appeal. Master approved of her request to marry Ling off now that she was of age.

While that had been fine, what annoyed Beiyue is that the other wives wanted in on the bandwagon. As they are now, they can only marry wealthy commoners as per tradition of hypergamy as they can't do martial arts, no noble would marry them now!

That annoyed Beiyue oh so much, that she snuck into the Xiao Clan's Breakfast on a weekend and spiked their teapot with Dongling's Grade 9 Laxative pills that would guarantee several hours of suffering in the toilet thirty minutes after a meal, while giving Fang and Ling the antidote before the effects sets in, which they must take 25 minutes before hell breaks loose, and reluctantly painted the other two sisters. She knows their heights, so she used canvas frames around their height range, and she knew their outfit colors and style choices.

Know thy enemy after all.

For now they're powerless. While she knows Qin can't do a thing as her family the Chief Counselor's prefecture will sooner kill her than help her, Concubine Xue is a snake with nothing to lose as she's ambitious.

She'll learn sorcery just so she can get all information she needed to protect herself and her counties. No heroing there anyway, but her own interests. She's a landlady or governor, whatever! Cases that need solving in two counties are only things worth worrying about. And as a somewhat-ruler, her people come first than any stupid heroics anyway...unless its to improve her reputation, of course.

Nothing in this world is free. EMIYA knows that, stupid Shirou doesn't.

Xue Meng was livid.

Huang Beiyue's maid Dongling kicked her brother between the legs, effectively embarrassing him to the public when he asked for a meeting with the princess who turned out to be not useless. She had known what her father and brother planned, Beiyue found out and now Royal Cousin and Royal Aunt is furious with her family.

The annoying part was she can't do anything.

Dongling has War God cultivation, got the beauty cosmetic pills can give her and effortlessly humiliated the people who attacked her. What chances does she have, she a Silver Class C? She's way too privileged for a maid! Sure Xue Meng can afford the beauty pills, but she prioritized her cultivation first! She can already hear maids at home grumbling on how jealous they are of Dongling, and as of late making subtle hopeful eyes at them!

Not just anyone can learn Martial Arts and moreover family will prioritize family FIRST over a bunch of slaves! Reaching 4-star master means they can no longer rely on pills and herbs to grow, they need money for auction instead for high-ranked tamed beasts for Che to level-up! They're getting uppity! Damn those two causing this kinda trouble but if they do something, Prince Yi, and Princess Yingye will spill the beans! The Emperor will see to it that they'll hang! They can't even expect protection from Royal Cousin as he'll prioritize Royal Aunt first as SHE is the main source of protection they've got!

Irksome!

"I'll remember this, just you wait!" Xue Meng fumed, her teeth gnashing and fists shaking.

Dongling is in the Warrior Course though a year below her. And there's the upcoming annual contest! She'll make that bitch pay then!

Bugi'er Bazaar...

Beiyue was in disguise as her old self simply to check on her businesses.

Full House as always with a looooong waiting line outside!

Perhaps she should build take-out booths had she knows her businesses would boom so?

'...that's what happened when I checked on my restaurants two weeks after opening day, what a mess~' Beiyue told the sweatdropping Sai Si, current family head and also, Head of Bugi'er Merchant Guild. 'Sooo I want to build take-out booths so customers can bring home their food. The issue is containers.'

'What will it be made out of, Princess?' Sai Si asked Beiyue curiously.

'It will be something like this out of Xihuimu and it needs to be mass-produced through Enchantments.' said Beiyue, showing container samples she made(which are of the same designs as styrofoam containers in fast food restaurants, and round deep containers for noodle and soup dishes with lids), and a rather thin book. 'In this book is how to make it. I would have, but with all noble and royal children's attendance to Lingyang is mandatory, I can't work on this myself.'

'Mm.' Sai Si looked at the containers at hand as he took the thin book.

'It also contains my recipe for the colored paint needed to create the restaurant logo design and the spell. How much would it be for this service?'

'Well, if its a daily supply using Xihuimu with the enchantments needed...how much does your restaurants need?' Sai Si inquired.

'Just to be safe, a thousand a day. I've seen those horrifying long lines.' Beiyue stated with a deadpan. 'I predicted a full house, but not the opening of a popular stage play ticket booth!' Sai Si laughed at that.

'What can I say? The food for sale is incredibly delicious!' Sai Si laughed. 'It's also not greasy and heavy you can eat until you're bloated! Not only that, it has its effects on mercenaries who went and dined.'

'Effects?' Beiyue blinked owlishly.

'Yes. They say they got a lot energetic and they can feel 'they can do anything'.' he said. 'That the price was worth it. That they felt more alive than ever just by eating it.' he told her. 'Sooo when we picked apart dishes for ingredients...you're including medicinal herbs, which explains the price and effects. The good kind. I never thought of including medicine in food...I wish there are ways to help my son before I give him his chance to cultivate.' said Sai Si in a pained voice. 'The most we can get is Prince Xiaoyao's Grade 9 elixirs.' Beiyue choked.

'Grade 9 pills...that'd be my entire annual income.' Beiyue choked out, wide-eyed. The Bugi'ers are lucky to be filthy rich, what with being one of the top major families in Kaerta Continent. Bugi'er of Nanyi, Huwen of Beiyao, and no idea about Dongli and Xirong...

'Its worth it for my son.' said Sai Si with a sad smile. 'And I'd like to ask you for recipes as it works for him as well.'

'I have to see him first for that.' said Beiyue. 'Is he home?'

'Go fetch Luo'er for me.' Sai Si told his aide who quickly left. When a pink-haired, blue-eyed boy came, Beiyue knew this guy was so cute girls back in Japan will NEVER let him go...he's the kind to be smothered in cuddles and boobs. Beiyue then used Structural Analysis on Luoluo that turned the boy into blue light with grids made of light.

'Eep! What happened?!' Luoluo squeaked as he saw himself like so. Soon, a red light filled his body with black spots around his organs, around his chest...but significantly lessened.

'...he's the kind who's born with very weak lungs and heart, even if the heart beats normally, even though his muscles, blood, bone and nerves are perfectly normal.' said Beiyue, stopping her spell. 'Had he remained at his worst, he wouldn't live past 16. That may be why you sought Prince Xiaoyao for help.' she said. 'From the sizes of the black spots in my spell, one more of those pills before he can practice martial arts.' she advised as Luoluo perked up. 'Having healthy food will also help. All foods in my restaurants are a balance of taste and health benefits since they have medicinal herbs and spirit herbs in the mix. But they focus more on energy I'll have to design what benefits the lungs and the heart and young master will get it from me at school tomorrow. For further credibility of confidence, check the ingredients with a doctor that has a fragrant name around nobles. That's what anyone would do.'

'Mm. Just one more pill...' Sai Si thought hopefully as that means his son is a step away from getting better. 'What is that spell?'

'I call it Structural Analysis...I can see the makeup of living things and objects. A magical version of an autopsy. I can even see damages and flaws down to the smallest detail and it'll never miss anything.' Beiyue grinned. 'It can even detect if someone cursed you. Its a personal spell of mine since I chose being Enchanter as my future career...making stuff is more interesting after all.'

'Wow...I'll be glad if I can practice martial arts just like everyone else...' Luoluo pouted. 'Princess is very nice to me but why are you cold to others?' he inquired.

Beiyue's expression went gloomy.

'It's easier to count those who didn't join the bandwagon in scorning me for what wasn't my fault.' said Beiyue with a cold smile. 'Indeed, I have a flawed Dantian at birth. I couldn't cultivate until I found a way around that. And suddenly, I gain instant respect as if they didn't badmouth and scorn me for years, laughing at me and now pretending the slights they committed didn't exist? I'm just glad my royal relatives hold no such feelings and your clan is on a wait and see basis to judge for yourselves than join mob mentality of crabs.'

'Crabs?'

Again, Beiyue explained what Crab Mentality was, and how to tell if a person was such. She even explained what Mob Mentality is.

And father and son and nearby aides knew she's not in a forgiving mood any day soon.

'So that's how it is.' said Beiyue with a forced smile, clapping her hands once. 'Oh yes, once the recipes are certified, you are to eat till you're very full for a year straight, and do nothing but rest. Oh, and no rice in these meals. Understandably you'll be overweight despite having a better set of lungs and heart by the end of the year. Then do extreme stamina and endurance training for another year before you can think of doing martial arts as training is much more demanding when it begins, but at least you've shed off the flabby body by then. I'm speaking from experience.' she chuckled ruefully. 'And it's worth it as everyone finally shut the hell up. But its too late for all of us as I know who can be my real friends now, and the materialistic judgmental presumptuous idiots know they've lost any chances with me as well.'
