September 11, 2020 - Peacekeeper Agency Headquarters
Narrator
Jojo, Evie and Ray went over to the guild's headquarters as they were told a week ago, they were notified that they would be leaving for a far off city in the continent in a few days, this left them conflicted.
Jojo's Perspective
Hmm, Jericho City, sounds cool.
" So how far away is it? " I asked Raymond, we were all in the lobby of the headquarters.
" It's on the other side of the continent, so walking would take about a month, but I heard the new agents take a bus there, which cuts it down to half a month " he said while wincing.
" ugh " Evie groaned, " can't we just take a plane? Or a train? ".
" nah " Raymond shook his head, " way too expensive… a plane ticket is like, what? Eight? No ten thousand poke, and they have to pay that for everyone that comes, not just us ".
" ah " Evie frowned.
I got up and yawned, " you guys wanna find something on the bulletin board? " I asked them, " sure! " they agreed.

Alakazam was dusting off his artifacts in his private museum, he was interrupted by the door opening, he knew exactly who this was.
A bayleef walked in, it had a scarf with S.P.W stitched in yellow on it, he walked over to the Alakazam, and handed him a letter with one of his vines.
" It's a message from Mr. Speedwagon " the bayleef explained, it hastily pranced out of the room.
Alakazam opened the letter with telekinesis and read it, his eyes widened after finishing it, " oh? How generous ", he put down the letter on a nearby table and psychically contacted the secretary, she was surprised at Speedwagon's offer too.
" I-i'll tell them right away " she assured.
Later…
Jojo's Perspective
This time we have to find a lost ring that someone dropped in a mystery dungeon, why is it always the dungeons that people lose their stuff in?
We were all preparing to go in, the dungeon was the same forest we've always been going to.
' you guys ready? " I asked them.
" hell yeah! " Evie slung a rucksack over her back, she was wearing her usual brown sable fedora, and also a strange white scarf, " lets go! ".
2 floors in…
I shot out an aura sphere at a bidoof, knocking it out instantly, " nice one! " Raymond complimented while he was fighting off a wurmple.
Five floors in…
Evie's perspective
Well, this is the floor that the client said he dropped his ring in, I guess we have to do a lot of crawling around to-
" found it! " Raymond cried out, he passed a small black container to Jojo, he caught it in mid-air and opened it, " yep, this is the ring, wow… proposing to someone with a clothing item, how much of a pretentious dweeb do you have to be to do something like that!? '
" when you meet your ' special ' someone, you give them this " Vaporeon pointed at the scarf.
Pretentious… dweeb?...
" heh, yeah, what a loser " Ray chuckled.
" l-loser? " I quietly whimpered.
Jojo stretched his back, " well, this is a success, everyone gather around me " he pulled out an escape orb, we all went up to him and watched as the orb smashed as it collided with the ground.
We were teleported outside of the dungeon, I was still frowning about what Jojo said.
We made our way towards the clients house, we knocked on the door and it opened revealing a frogadier, " do you have it? " he asked.
" yup " Raymond pulled out the small box with the ring and gave it to him.
" YES! Thank you kids so much, whoooo! " he whooped, he quickly pulled out some coins and gave it to us, we walked away.
We walked over to the town square to chill out, what Jojo said still hurt a lot.
" I'll go get some supplies, be right back " Jojo jogged over to the kecleon shop, leaving only me and Raymond.
" say, Evie? What's with the long face? You've been down ever since Jojo dissed that guys ring " he asked me.
Oh crap...
" well uh… " I tugged at the scarf around my mane, " it's just that… I was going to… ".
A huge grin spread across his face, " oooooooh I see what you mean~ " I lightly growled.
" don't worry, your secret is safe with me ", Jojo finished bartering with the kecleons, he walked over to us.
" what were you guys talking abo- ".
" n-nothing! " I blurted out.
He raised an eyebrow, " okaaaaay… "
All three of us heard fluttering nearby, we turned to the source of the noise and saw a staravia wearing a blue scarf flying towards us, he landed and I could now see that the scarf had S.P.W stitched in yellow on it, S.P.W… like, Speedwagon Foundation?
He gave us three envelopes and then flew off, the three envelopes were individually sent to us, I picked the one sent for me.
It read…
Notice from the Peacekeeper Agency.
Due to a generous donation from the Speedwagon Foundation, the bus that usually takes newcomers to the guild's main base of operations has been replaced by a premium train ride, all paid for by our friends at the foundation.
The train will depart on september 15, 2020, don't be late!
Sincerely: guildmaster Alakazam.
The envelope also had a shining yellow train ticket in it.
Raymond's Perspective
Woah, we'll be taking a train now!? Cool!
The pidove left before we could say anything to him, no matter, he's probably really busy, but since when did the Speedwagon Foundation suddenly start helping the agency? A gut feeling told me it had something to do with the results of the tryouts.
The ride is gonna start in four days, better get ready! All three of us went home to prepare.
Later…
I skipped over to my house and grabbed the doorknob with a vine, ooooh this is so exciting! I gotta tell…
Mom…
I opened the door and peered into the kitchen, she was in there cooking, " uh… hi mom… " I waved with my leafy arm, she turned her head, " oh good evening, did you have fun? " she asked me, " y-yeah I am " I stuttered, oh how the hell am I gonna break the news to her?
" mom? I have to tell you something ".
She stopped what she was doing and slowly slithered over to me, " yes? ".
Well… here goes.
" I'm joining the guild, and I'm leaving for Jericho City " I quickly said.
She was unfazed at what I just said, " okay " she said in a monotone voice, she slithered back into the kitchen, I stood there, mouth agape, did… did she just say "okay"!? This is supposed to be something to worry over, and she just brushed it off as if it didn't matter!
Why doesn't she care!? Wait… she didn't say my name or call me anything… no no no that can't be right! I'm her kid!
I shivered, still remembering her response, ugh, I ran over to my room and crashed into my bed.
no…
September 15, 2020 - Lucario's House
Jojo's Perspective
" wake up wake up wake up! The trains going in like two hours come on! " Lucario pestered me while I was in bed.
" ugh… just five more minutes coach ", coach? Must've been muscle memory from my human life.
Suddenly I could feel myself being lifted up from the bed and tossed on the floor, " ow! Alright I'll pack up! " I groaned as I got up from the floor.
" think fast! " Lucario chucked an empty suitcase right in my face, I barely caught it without breaking my nose, I opened it up and started stuffing some of my belongings in it.
" so, What're you planning to do once I'm gone? " I asked Lucario.
" oh I don't know… party, I guess ".
" what!? You do that like every saturday! ".
She chuckled, " well, I'll party more then ".
" hmf " I finished filling the suitcase and walked with Lucario over to the train station
Meanwhile at the Williams Residence
Evie's Perspective
" I'm gonna be late, I'm gonna be late! " I worriedly whispered to myself as I filled a bunch of suitcases and bags, grandma was helping me too.
" are you sure you're not forgetting anything!? " she hastily asked me.
" I think I'm not! " I said as I stuffed a filled notebook into a suitcase.
After a few minutes we managed to fill 3 bags worth of stuff, I was holding a suitcases handle in my mouth while grandma was holding the other two with vines.
We both ran as fast as we could to the train station.
Then, the Redfield House…
Raymond's Perspective
I was standing in my room, I already filled my suitcase, I just need one last look around my house before I leave..
I walked into the living room, I used to spend a lot of time here, it's a shame I can't spend anymore time here for a long while.
I wonder where mom is… I can't just leave without saying goodbye, even if she did probably disown me a few nights back.
I walked into the kitchen where I would usually find her, she wasn't there, I looked into the bathroom, not there either, where is she?
I guess I do have to just leave her… I walked back into my room to get my suitcase, but when I walked in, I noticed that there was something on my bag.
It was a long blue scarf, with a white medical cross stitched on both ends, there was a note on it, it read…
" I believe in you " with a smiley face drawn beside it, I looked behind me and saw the serperior I was looking for.
" make sure you send a letter to me every week alright Ray? " she smiled.
I ran forward and hugged her, we stayed like that for a minute, before I released my grip and grabbed my bag, " goodbye mom ", I turned around and slowly walked out the front door, before being pulled back and given a goodbye kiss.
Jojo's Perspective
Pecha Town Train Station
CHOOO CHOOO!
We approached the train, it was huge, I'm pretty sure this thing was reserved for really rich people.
Two Speedwagon Foundation workers were there as supervisors and helpers, one of them, an emolga wearing a blue S.P.W hat offered to load my luggage onto the train for me, of course I said yes.
I was sitting on a chair in the terminal waiting for them to call people in, I saw Ray with his mom handing his suitcase to one of the Speedwagon Foundation employees, I guess they settled their differences.
" oops sorry, excuse us " a very familiar eevee was blurting out as she was pushing a cart with three bags in it, that's a lot of luggage, and is that her grandma with her?
" so, I guess it's almost time you go now… you know, I've never met another lucario or riolu before " Lucario explained.
" really!? " I exclaimed, " but you are one! ".
" I know, but I was raised in a foster family, I never knew my real parents, so far the only ones of my kind that I've met are you, and Straizo, I like you more ".
" I can definitely understand that ".
" all aboard! " the emolga shouted out.
" well, I have to catch a ride now " me and Lucario high-fived each other, " see ya! " we both said in unison as I entered the train.
But in the corner of my eye, someone else came in through a different door, not an agent, not a Speedwagon representative, and definitely not a friend either, but someone still very familiar…

In the distance Jojo could see all of the landmarks of the town as the train zoomed around, he could see Lucario's house, the town square, the school, and many more.
