Ch. 19

Present, Billy's Hideout

Billy took the last of his MDMA out of the drawer of his dresser. "Shit!" He thought, "This might just be enough, but I probably want to get a steady supply inside Hawkins. The only chemist I know of who could do produce molly safely is Mr. Clarke, though. He would never help me, plus those little shits are like his only friends. They'd notice something was up if I turned him. I could just ask him who the best chemists he knows are, though. That might work." He then got a bottle of Benadryl, the cleaning chemicals, and the MDMA, then mixed them, forming a black sludge that might look familiar to us S3 fans. He created two doses since Heather was already the Mind Flayer's most loyal subject, and didn't need it. (AN: Billy has convinced the Mind Flayer to not Flay Heather as long as it senses no treachery on her part). He handed the doses to Heather and told her to make sure her parents were Flayed ASAP. (Heather is kind of Billy's Charles Manson cultist equivalent, although she serves the Mind Flayer first and foremost) He got in his car and drove to the school to pick up Max from A/V Club. He then asked Mr. Clarke if he had any students who were great chemists, as he had a friend with an available internship.

"Well, the best chemist is probably Ele-," Mr. Clarke stopped, realizing that he was talking to someone whose drug abuse was an open secret around most of Hawkins. Nothing provable in court, but everyone knew, even if he hadn't officially been busted. "Say, you're not talking about a drug lab, are you?" "No! No, of course not. Sorry, no." Billy replied. "Well, then you'd want to talk to Eleven, who is right here. Eleven, I got you a chemistry internship!" Mr. Clarke then left Billy and Eleven to talk, heading over to the other A/V members.

"Hello there," Billy said to Eleven, who was very, very (understandably) apprehensive about him approaching her. "I happen to need some drugs. MDMA, to be exact. If you produce them, I will leave all your friends and their families alone as long as they don't interfere. However, if you or anyone else attempts to stop me, they are dead, and our deal is null and void," Billy paused and looked at Eleven, silently asking for confirmation. She nodded and Billy smiled and said, "Excellent. I'll meet you here tomorrow after school," before driving away in his car with Max in the passenger seat.
