Kakashi checked the temperature of the water before he turned off the tap. It is already late in the night but it would be completely irresponsible of him if he would just let Naruto fall asleep in that state.

Needless to say, the two of them dove to the sheets with fervor, looking for each other's warmth. It has been a few nights since they last saw each other and within those nights it has been awfully tense. Kakashi had to resume his Hokage duties with the recent case of Minato and his team seven weighing on him, while Naruto had to walk on eggshells unsure how to act around his father who has not yet any memories of fathering him.

It was not easy.

And only with each that Kakashi and Naruto could find comfort. Only before each other, they can drop all the worries and unpretentiously show each other just how much they mean to one another. And that resulted in a long love-making, sweat and sticky residue plastered all over their skin.

"Naruto," Kakashi called out from the bathroom, but he heard no reply from the younger male. For all he knows, Naruto must have fallen asleep while Kakashi is preparing the bath. Sighing, he made a shadow clone of himself and instructed it to get Naruto.

While Kakashi's clone left, Kakashi carefully jumped on the bath and waited for his clone to come back. His clone eventually came back with the blond sprawled on his arms, eyes close with his soft whining to let him get back to bed.

"Kak- shi...uhh, I wanna sleep," Naruto whined, arms tightly holding onto Kakashi's clone even though the clone is bending down to place him in the bath with the original. "I don't wanna… no…" Naruto slurred in his words.

"Come on, Naruto. Let go of my clone," Kakashi instructed. "You'll complain tomorrow when you wake up full of…" Kakashi could not continue because he remembered how many times he came inside Naruto earlier. That made him flustered. Definitely, it'll be troublesome for Naruto if he leaves him like that.

"Why are there two Kakashi," Naruto finally opened his eyes, only to be met with a Kakashi holding him, and a Kakashi also reaching for him. Naruto giggled, "Sensei, you don't think-"

"No," Kakashi interrupted right away. He knows exactly what is in Naruto's mind, and while he finds that appealing, he also knows it will be dangerous to try that now. Maybe some other time? "Now, come here." He gently pulled him and this time, Naruto did not resist as much.

Kakashi's clone silently disappeared as Naruto got in the bath with the original. Naruto moaned into the odd but satisfying contact of his worn-out body with the warm water. And the best thing about this is having the Rokudaime holding him. Naruto naturally nudged closer to those arms, assumed his head on the Hokage's neck, and sighed. He could definitely fall asleep like this.

There's no doubt about that ever happening, it is not the first time Naruto had done this. There have been quite a few times Kakashi had to drag Naruto to the bath before. And those few times have always been after Naruto's lengthy missions where he comes back completely exhausted. And just enough managed to have sex with the Hokage. Because for him, that is a must thing to do regardless of how tired he is.

Silently, and almost naturally, Kakashi began washing his lover. He made sure to pay attention to getting rid of all the remnants of their sexual venture earlier -that also means, Naruto's crevice. And while he is dedicated to getting this job done, it is becoming harder with Naruto subconsciously responding to Kakashi's fingers inside him.

"N-naruto," Kakashi pulled away from the kiss, although that alone took a lot of self-restraint. "I just-" I just finished cleaning you up. He wanted to say but Naruto eyed him with a pout.

"I want to do it." Naruto honestly said, his face is already flustered and the pit of his stomach is on fire. It does not help the fact that he is sitting on top of the apparent erection of his lover.

"It is late," Kakashi knew he sounded unconvincing, the way he is holding tightly on Naruto's waist contradicts his will.

"Yeah, I know," Naruto mumbled, his head dropping down, saddened as he leaned in to hug Kakashi tightly. His head resting on Kakashi's shoulder once again as he said, "I don't know when the next time I would be able to stay with you like this."

Kakashi's heart twitches, hearing the difficulty in Naruto's voice. Does Naruto always have these thoughts? That he fears that he will be alone and Kakashi would not be there for him? "You can always come to me. I always keep the necklace you gave me."

"I did," Naruto confessed, "But whenever I do, you are always in Hokage Tower. You got ANBU and the chunins reporting to you one after another. You stay there all through the night. You're never home."

"Na...ruto,"

"You're doing your best. I did not want to bother you," Naruto continued, "Recently, I felt like I am not supposed to see you. That it is better to stay away from you. But I also want to see you. I miss you. Am I… Am I being impossible? Do I sound like a brat now?"

"Naruto," Kakashi tightened his arms around his lover, giving him a peck on the crown of his hair, "I am just the same as you are. I should be the one to have more control over our relationship and not put you in a difficult situation. But here I am selfishly wanting to see you every day more than you know. How about this? Should I move in with you guys in the safe house?"

Naruto pulled away, his eyes widening as he looked at Kakashi's face, "You'll stay with us in the safe house? With dad?"

Kakashi smiled, "Sure, I need to start earning his blessing now that we get the chance."

Naruto's eyes water, sniffling, "D-don't talk big."

Kakashi chuckled, "It won't be easy."

"Nothing is easy," Naruto responded, "Especially if I share a room with Sasuke. Try kicking him out first before you move in."

Kakashi momentarily forgot the room arrangement in the Safe House, and true to that Naruto and Sasuke are sharing a room. "So, say, how is he with Sakura-chan lately?"

"D-don't tell me you are planning to make them room together?" Naruto gasped.

Kakashi laughs, "It is the Hokage's duty to make sure one's clan does not go extinct."

"..."

"Don't you think it is high time Sasuke rebuild Uchiha Clan?"

"Uh, y-yeah," Naruto didn't know whether to agree or not. Just because a discussion over offsprings and dedication to rebuilding a clan is too serious of a talk given the current time and place. Besides, they're basically talking about his former teammates here - his childhood friends. "Children, huh?" He mumbled.

The thought of having a young Uchiha frolicking Konohagakure would be a sight to see and this Uchiha will never ever have to be a subject of pity and prejudices. Naruto will make sure this Uchiha child will never be alone and will carry the Uchiha Clan with pride.

"Naruto,"

"Hm?"

"So, what do you think? Should I move in with you in the Safe House?"

Naruto smiled, "If you can get rid of Sasuke."

"I'm the Hokage, you know."

"Sure you are," Naruto sniggered, it is unusual for Kakashi to use his Hokage card, and he finds that both appealing and cute. "Well, does the Hokage still want to keep his lover waiting? Didn't I tell you I want to have sex?"

Kakashi's face instantly turned red. Naruto has never been this vocal about wanting to make love. It has always been all action, something they never have to speak about. The moment they look at each other's eyes is when they knew they want to feel each other's warmth. Kakashi never knew the joy of hearing Naruto begging for it. And who is he to deny such request?

He said this with a matter-of-fact tone. "And I won't be there to save your ass from his beating."

Kakashi's eyes opened widely for real now. He jolted up, immediately looked at the clock. True to what Naruto said, Iruka will definitely make his ears bleed the moment he walks into Hokage Office. "Shit,"

Naruto chuckled, "Don't worry, sensei," Naruto sat up, winking, "I reported in your stead this morning. I told them you're sick and will be in the afternoon instead."

Kakashi eyed his lover, unsure whether he is telling the truth or not, "Well, more importantly, how did you even have the strength to get out of bed?" After what they have been up to all through the night.

Naruto's face flushed red. "I… I'm an Uzumaki and a jinchuriki, you know." Needless to say, his body recovers faster than ordinary people.

"That's true," Kakashi agreed as he pulled Naruto down, "Well, then, I assume do we still have time for cuddles?"

"Uhh… sure, sure,"

"Then, comfort your sick lover,"

"You're not really sick, sensei."

"Still, won't you comfort me?"

"...hm, what do you mean by comfort?"

"Cuddle with me,"

"Lies, you're reaching for my butt,"

HOKAGE OFFICE

"For someone who is supposed to be sick, you sure are radiating in full health and good mood, Hokage-sama." Iruka, the chunin, commented the moment he saw the said Rokudaime walking into the Hokage Office.

Kakashi sat on his chair, avoiding Iruka's all-knowing gaze, as he replied, "Well, it depends on who is nursing you."

Iruka's face immediately turned red, his jaw tightening at the shamelessness on the Hokage's words implying about his suspicion. But, that was long been established, that the former sensei and student, had moved past that and became lovers. It is not widely known in Konoha but towards who have, have seen this relationship develops from the start and could only become witnesses. Truthfully, it was a long time coming, it was almost painful to just watch Kakashi pining over Naruto - that when it finally got reciprocated, everyone secretly cheered.

Even Iruka himself. There are things he can do for Naruto as an adult, as sensei, but there are things only Kakashi can do for Naruto. And Iruka is glad, admittedly, that it had been Kakashi. There was no better person for Naruto but Kakashi. All this while.

"How did it go with Raido-san?" Kakashi asked the chunin as he began flipping through the documents freshly handed to him.

"They have been summoned to the Safe House later today. I think Hokage-sama would be best suited to personally introduce them to this new task."

Kakashi nodded, "I will go with them."

"Good," Iruka ticked one thing off his list, "The Kazekage is due to arrive tomorrow. He will be seeking information about the Yondaime and the other three."

"Of course. That's to be expected. It was the Sunagakure who received the most damage after all." Since Minato and his team mostly appeared in the borders of Suna and Konoha, it was only expected they come in contact more with the Suna shinobi.

"It will be best if Naruto deals with the Kazekage," Iruka suggested.

"As if you still have to ask," Kakashi replied. Kakashi can already see Naruto involving with this matter more than he was expected to. No matter how this will all work out, it will still be difficult for Naruto, and everyone else involved.

The Safe House - temporary resident of Minato and his team

Naruto arrived back at the safe house at midday. The ANBU guarding the vicinity gave him a nod upon seeing him, "Naruto-kun, welcome back."

Naruto nodded back before walking to the house. For some reason, he felt the need to tiptoe as he snuck inside, trying to not make any sound. He could hear Sakura and Rin's voices echoing from the inside. Listening closely, it seemed like the two kunoichi were practicing at the front yard. Mixing with their voices too is Young Kakashi and Obito arguing over something that sounded like what happened from the past.

Naruto sighed. It seems like everyone is outside and sneaking from the back is the best choice.

"Naruto-kun,"

Naruto halted, his ears perked up to the sound of his father's voice. And he sounded so close to him. When Naruto turned in the direction where the voice is coming from, Minato, his father is standing right beside him, holding a cup of coffee in his hand. "Uhh… Hm… Hi." Definitely, the infamous Yellow Flash of Konoha the way he snuck upon him.

"Hmmm," It looks like Minato is as lost for words as his son. He wanted to ask where Naruto went that he didn't come back last night, but that would be silly. The fact that Naruto is already old enough to go wherever he wants to - he also doesn't have the courage to act as his father despite the fact that he is.

"I… hm, I went…" Naruto breathes between words but he still doesn't know how to finish what he meant to say. Will he say truthfully that he slept over in his boyfriend's place? Regardless if his father sees him as his son or not, this will still sound shocking. But despite this, he still had the urge to explain, because damn it, he never had the chance to have a parent to complain to, or do silly things and get scolded. "I...went to see Ka...kashi sensei." He finally finished.

Minato stared at Naruto, watching as the boy's face changed color. Is he flustered? Why would he be? It is normal for a young man to seek his sensei's comfort sometimes. That's what senseis are for. He smiled, "I'm glad Kakashi grew up to be someone his student will depend on."

A little bit more than that, actually. Naruto thought.

"Speaking of Kakashi," Minato walked towards the windows, lean over there to watch his young team outside, "I heard that you and older Kakashi brought young Kakashi to Ichiraku Ramen last night."

Naruto worried on his bottom lip, wondering if his father is mad about it, "It was my idea. I'm sorry-"

"Thank you," Minato turned around, smiling at the blond. "Knowing young Kakashi, I am sure he has never thanked you for the dinner."

Surprised, Naruto had a hard time to reply right away. "It - It is alright."

"Am I making you uncomfortable?" Minato has an awkward look on his face, his worries becoming much clearer.

"Hm, no. Am I making you uncomfortable?" Naruto asked back.

Minato shook his head, "Not uncomfortable. Just a little flustered."

Naruto blinked, confused about what his father meant.

"What I mean is, it made me a little flustered the more I look at you. You're exactly a mix of me and Kushina. It's amazing." Minato said, his words are now continuously flowing and when he realized it, he bit back his words. "I'm sorry, I'm just amazed how much time had passed, and now my son is already an adult and I had not done anything for him."

"You did," Naruto responded right away, "In fact, you did a lot, dad."

Surprised, Minato almost dropped the mug of coffee as he felt his knees melting to the sound of Naruto calling him dad. It is strange that he did not have memories of his birth but he felt it. When Naruto called him dad, it tugs on his chest. It felt real. Is it because he is in the future? Where he came from, Naruto still does not exist, but in this place far in the future, he is this boy's father. That bond exists. "I'm g-glad to hear that."

Naruto smiled, "Well, do you want to hear more?" He walked up to him.

"Only the ones you're willing to tell me," Minato replied to his son. He knew full well that Naruto's life is not all rainbows. And that has got something to do with the fact that Minato himself and Kushina no longer exist in this era.

Wow, another update. And *hides* smut alert. It is more like tiny smut, glossed over smut, if not implied smut. Okay, I was not used to this kind of smut but I really want to write an aftercare gesture of Kakashi towards Naruto. I think it is sweet and fits well with their dynamic - although it ended with more smex. Also I'm a sucker of morning scene so I gotta add.

The Minato-Naruto scene is hella awkward but how else am I going to write them given their current situation. They cannot just be automatically father-son mode right off the bat. But I have a cure for that in the next updates. I'll have more Minato-Naruto fix. Don't worry about the lack of Obito right now because I have something big for him ;)
