The red-eyed girl didn´t looked like she was surprised or shocked by the appearance of the trainers. She pulled out her Katana and swung it in a wide arc against Corviknight who dodged with a fast movement before falling back to let Kira´s Salamance attack with Dragon Claw.
The girl just jumped aside and watched them emotionless. "Why are you fighting us if we´re just killing the corrupt people?" she asked the trainers, but it didn´t seem like she was interested in the answer. "Because murdering someone is a crime," Hendrik hissed. "The four of us are representing the justice won´t allow any suffer if we can avoid it."
The girl raised an eyebrow and then suddenly jumped over them before slaying the other girl who didn´t say a word the whole time. The child gasped before she dissolved into a black mass.
"What just happened?" Abigail wondered as she watched to the place where the girl had been standing just a moment ago. "She was nothing but a corrupt soul whose parents had killed countless people," the black-haired girl explained. "And because of that, she had to die."
The four trainers looked towards each other for a moment. "Does it make sense to go on fighting when she wasn´t alive anyway? Is there a criminal law for ghosts and souls?" Crowley asked. "Not that I know," Hendrik admitted who had taken down his weapon. But they had turned away from the girl, and she used her chance and attacked them with her sword. But Coviknight countered with Drill Peck and fought her back.
The girl fell back and watched the trainers again. But suddenly she was grabbed by her neck. Another girl with weird blonde hair was appeared and hold her on her hair. "For what was that for?" the black-haired girl asked indignant, but not surprised. "Keep calm, Akame. Just look at those people. Don´t you think we could let them join Night Raid?" the blonde girl asked and grinned. "Maybe. When we´re thinking about that they tamed monsters and are able to control them, it wouldn´t be a good idea to make them our enemies," she admitted. "And we should also take the other boy with us. He looks like a good sword fighter."
"Hey, ladies. You know that we´ve heard everything, do you?" Crowley interrupted them. "Good. Then we don´t have to repeat it. Come on, join our team Night Raid!" the girl forced arrogant. "Not so fast, shortie," Kira stopped her enthusiasm. "We don´t go to anyone who we don´t know. Besides that, we are already a part of a team. Before we make a decision, we want to learn about all you do and why."
The stranger girls looked at each other, then they nodded. "Alright. But we want to let you know: when you disagree joining us after you saw our base and our boss, we have to kill you," the black-haired girl explained. "Is that a threat?" Abigail asked and narrowed her eyes.
"Come on, guys. Let´s see what´s going on there first. After that, we can still fight ourselves a way out," Hendrik said. "Are you sure about that?" the blonde girl asked and sharpened her claws which looked like they were from a wild animal. "Absolutely. What we just showed was only on low light. If we wanted to, we could wipe out the whole are with our Pokémon," Kira explained and put her hands on her hips. "Well, you are pretty tough," the blonde girl smiled before she hit the ground with her bare fist. The trainers fell on their feet, and the black-haired girl used the chance and grabbed all of them to jump away. Corviknight followed them immediately.
After a few seconds, they reached the rooftop of the building where a lot of threads seemed to be in the air. "Where have you been so long?" a woman with short blue hair and an eye patch asked. Then she saw the trainers and stopped. "Who did you pick up there?" she wanted to know while she watched Hendrik who sent back Corviknight into his Pokéball. "A group of weird birds with a weird bird on their side," the blonde girl told who had introduced herself as Leone. "Them call themselves Dragonbreath or something like that."
"Hm. I don´t know this name," the woman admitted as she watched the trainers. "Guys, I think, we are in another world again," Hendrik whispered towards his friends. "Well, I think there would have been a first time for us two," Kira sighed and rolled her eyes.
"Hey, stop whispering. If you want to say something, say it loud," the woman forced. "Did you take them with you to let them join us?" she asked Leone and the other girl. "Yes. They seem pretty experienced and strong. Almost like our Akame," Leone admitted. Compared to Crowley´s mimic, it looked like they were fighting about who was able to have the widest grin.
"Alright, let´s take them with us first. We can ask them questions when we´re back in our base," the woman decided who seemed to be the boss. She gave a short sign to the other people who were barely visible, then the trainers passed out.

"Oh man, I´m really tired of getting unconscious all the time," Hendrik groaned when the four cops woke up and stood up slowly. "How often did you pass out in the world of the chimeras?" Abigail asked. "Only one time. So, this place has already made a new record," Crowley said and grinned.
"There you are," the voice of the woman from before sounded suddenly. The trainers looked around and spotted all the strangers from the team called "Night Raid" who were standing in a semicircle and watched them closely. "We could have dispensed on this see again," Kira said who was still unable to stand perfectly. "Alright. Now that you are in our base, you will answer all of our questions," the boss named Najenda explained. "Who said that we would trust you?" Hendrik asked razor sharp. "We are saying that. Because otherwise you won´t have a long life."
"Don´t be ridiculous," Kira said and raised herself to her full size. "We are educated fighters and trainers. We have resources and abilities which could all of you turn into ash. So, you are in no conditions to force anything from us."
The members of Night Raid were quiet for a moment and watched from their boss to the trainers. "Got it? I told you they are real fighters!" Leone jelled. "We just need them in our team!"
"Hey, are you deaf or something?" Hendrik interrupted them while he set his cape. "Before we decide anything, we want to know what you are doing and why. And especially, we want good arguments, got it?"
Najenda nodded and stood up from her chair which was standing under a red banner with a black bird and the lettering "Night Raid". "Don´t you know what´s happening in the empire? How much the normal people are suffering under the emperor and his corrupt and cold minister?"
The trainers watched each other for a moment, then they shook their heads. "We don´t even come from here. Where we come from, we were cracked out of our dimension during a fight. That might sound crazy, but in our world, there are only democratic governments and not a single empire."
"Wait a second. Does that mean you are aliens?" Leone interrupted and stood in front of them. "Of course not, kitty girl. We´re just from an alternate reality. A reality where humanity is living with the Pokémon in peace."
"With what?" Najenda repeated and raised her eyebrow again. When Abigail wanted to answer, they suddenly heard a loud yawning from inside of Hendrik´s backpack. Then his Pokémon Pikachu showed his head and rubbed his eyes sleepy.
"Hey there, Buddy. Don´t tell me you have slept the whole time since the enemies´ attack?" Hendrik asked staggered while the Electric-Type Pokémon went on his shoulder. "What´s that on your shoulder?" Leone asked warily and reached towards Pikachu. "It doesn´t look pretty tough. But it could be a good little snack."
In this moment, Hendrik raged out: he swung his fist and sent Leone through the air with a chin hook. "How dare you talking to one of my friends like that?" he shouted to her while the girl was lying on the floor and slowly touched her chin. "If you´re thinking about our Pokémon like that, then we don´t have anything to say."
Leone slowly stood up again and watched Hendrik closely. Then she grinned even wider. "Finally, someone who can fight me! Oh, Najenda-sama, we just have to let them join us! If all of them are like him, the minister won´t live much longer!"
Najenda put her hand on her chin and seemed to think about it. "Alright. You shall learn about us. As I already told you, we´re Night Raid. We are a group of rebels who want to plan a revolution against the corrupt government. You must know, the minister is manipulating the young emperor to let him always do what he wants. But the result was nothing but a starving and suffering nation. The emperor isn´t aware of what happens, and it´s also impossible to prove him the opposite; the minister has spoiled him too much."
"And because of that, Night Raid exists," Akame continued. "We have set our aim to wipe out all of the corrupt people who have to be judged for what they have done to the folk. We also accept orders. If a loved person was murdered was killed by a civil servant, then we take revenge in order of our client."
"So, you want to take down the government to create a peaceful nation," Abigail summarized. "Yes. And we hope that you will support us. You would be very powerful allies."
The trainers watched each other for a moment, then they pulled out all of their Pokéballs. "We can only make this decision together," Kira explained before they called all Pokémon they had:
Hendriks Team consisted of Charizard, Pikachu, Corviknight, Greninja, Sceptile and a Dusk Form Lycanroc. All of them wore the black hooded cape of Dragonbreath.
Crowley had a Snover, a Piloswine who started to snort, a Chespin, a Bronzor as well as a Duskull and a Sableye. They hugged Crowley together before they stood in their circle.
Kiras Team was on a similar level as Hendrik´s: she had a Salamence, a Garchomp, a Lapras who got a bit scared as it felt the bare ground, a Arcanine, a Toxtricity and a Staraptor.
And Abigails Team was built up of a Monferno, a Cottonee, a Morgrem, a Nuzleaf who looked around itself, a Lurantis and a Steenee.
Everyone of their Pokémon had the emblem of Dragonbreath somewhere which showed that they were in service.
"Guys," Hendrik now said to the 24 Pokémon. "As you may have noticed, a lot of things happened today. Crowley´s and my team have already made such an experience: as the result of an accident, we were sent to an alternate reality where Pokémon never existed. And now we are asked to join a team of rebels who want to take down the corrupt government to help the suffering folk."
"We are standing in front of a very difficult decision," Kira continued and put her hands on her hips. "We now have to choose if we will fight for the folk or for justice. What do you mean?"
The Pokémon looked at each other and whispered in their special language. "Well for me, the thing is clear," Crowley said. "As peaceful trainers, we are always on the folks´ side. We shouldn´t even ask ourselves this question."
They were quiet for a moment, then Hendrik, Kira and Abigail nodded. They turned back to Night Raid to see that their mouths were wide open.
"Just look at this, boss. We can get 29 new members at once today," Leone said motivated. Najenda suddenly stood up and went towards the trainers. She took a detailed look at every Pokémon and at the trainers.
"So, you are from another world. And you´re friends of the folk," she said after a while. "I can see in your eyes that you have already fought a lot of battles. I would be very proud if you would join us."
Hendrik nodded towards his friends again before going to Najenda and reaching out his hand. "We agree. From now on, Dragonbreath is an ally of Night Raid."
