Hello, and welcome to the continuation of A Message from an Avenger. I was stuck on a plot, so I decided to sleep on it. In a dream, the plot of the story came to me, and now, here's the crossover all you guys have been waiting for: a mega anime/cartoon/TV show crossover with the Avengers. Now, let's get into the Prologue of The Last Avenger.

I ran.

Past the traffic-filled city of Washington DC.

Past the lights that illuminate the dark streets.

As I ran, I looked past everyone walking past me, their heads snapping to look at me taking flight on the ground.

I ignored them, their calls, their yells, everything. Because I could do something, unlike them, and I was going to do something for this world.

There were very few people who had gone through the shit I had, and I'd make sure that list of people would be as small as possible, and Raja... wouldn't live his life as I had.

As I ran, I saw a flicker of the future, pass before my eyes.

I wasn't sure if it were paths or something, but I saw everything burning crimson. The cherry blossoms, instead of blooming, were burning, as the flowers gracefully fell from the tree... on fire. The whole city was on fire, with humans and heroes relegated to the same fate, of death.

'I can't... let that future happen.'

I refused to accept that future, and I set my mind to change it. With Hawkeye's bow and arrow set tied onto my back, with Uru and crystal blades set in my ODM gear, and with me clutching the handgrips of the device, I ran towards changing the future. I looked towards the darkness and saw a plane to hook onto.

I equipped my swords and launched myself into the atmosphere. The pressure as I left the surface was intense... but I kept strong as I flew into the air at high speeds.

'People should experience this freedom, without sacrificing their lives.'

I remembered my sister as I flew through the low atmospheric pressure that I was surrounded by. I wasn't sure what reminded me of her. Maybe it was the way she protected me from a life of misery. Maybe it was because I missed her, along with my parents. Maybe it was all of the above.

'Thank you, everyone. I won't let your sacrifices be in vain.'

No tears left my eyes then. I wasn't going to let myself be depressed. I was a hero

My name is Rahul, and I, under the hero name of Mel, am one of the Last Avengers. You're probably asking yourself, "How did I get to be an Avenger?" and, "What happened to the other Avengers?" Well, if you would like to know, I will tell you, but it will be a long and painful story.

And that's the prologue. Now, I know this is short, but it will set up a lot more interesting stories through this guy's perspective. Now, if you will excuse me, I will need to write the next chapter for this story and the Ninth chapter of The Strongest Hero.
