Hey everybird! What's up!?

So there's pretty much nothing to say, so how about we just get to it! And well find out what's going to happen to Bia now that she's been exposed as a Jedi…

Chapter 3: First Confrontation

The rest of the day until work was done was mostly uneventful for Bia and Carla, having returned with nothing, they were simply told they were not getting the bonus and get back to their normal work. However they couldn't care less or think about that anymore, Carla was stunned beyond belief at what her friend has been hiding from her. Meanwhile Bia was scared… She had this nagging feeling that not only Carla knew about her abilities, but others did too now…

At the end of the work shift, Bia and Carla boarded the tram back to the city, taking their seats and staying quiet at first until Carla spoke up.

"Why didn't you tell me Bia?" Carla asked.

"Why do you think Carla?" Bia returned. "Listen, I just need you to act like everything is still normal between us."

"I understand…" Carla sighed. "It's just… You could have left me there… I just don't know how to thank you."

"You don't have to, you're my friend." Bia smiled as she laid back in her seat, closing her eyes.

As Bia reopened her eyes, she was still in the tram car… Only thing was… She was alone now… No one else here…

"Carla?" Bia said as no answer came back. "Did I just fall asleep and everyone got off without telling me?" Bia wondered.

She got up and went to the next tram car… Where there was no one. Bia began panting as she was getting freaked out by this, going to the next and the next tram car. And every time she moved, she could hear those voices again, coming from all around, again sounding very familiar… Bia began to feel dizzy as soon enough by the time she got past several tram cars, there was a male blue macaw standing at the other end of the car.

"No…" Bia said slowly as the figure turned around, seeming to have heard Bia as Bia felt cold and couldn't move. "NO!" Bia shouted as she then woke up, returning back to normal as Carla and everyone else present in the tram car was still here.

Bia relaxed as it was all just a bad thought or was it… Before Carla could turn around and ask what was wrong, the tram suddenly stopped for whatever reason, almost throwing Bia from her seat as she wasn't expecting that. As the tram was still, the car doors opened and in came, not the usual white stormtroopers, but troopers who wore black armor, with more specialized blasters. Telling everyone to get off at gun point, both Bia and Carla looked at each other, both knowing why these troopers were here.

"What do we do Bia?" Carla asked.

"We do nothing, just don't stick out…" Bia told her friend as they got up and silently joined everyone else.

As Bia, Carla, and the rest of the scrap yard workers got off, lining up, in addition to more of the black armored troopers, there was a big female toucan wearing a different suit of armor, and unlike the troopers, her face was visible, only being partially hidden by a red visor. Also what attracted Bia the most was the lightsaber attracted to the toucan's belt.

With Bia and the other workers lined up, troopers surrounding them, a TIE fighter came roaring in, slowing down and landing behind the toucan. As the TIE fighter was settled, the cockpit opened and out came a smaller and thinner figure than the toucan, wearing similar black armor, except this one's head was completely covered by an ominous looking helmet. The small and thin black suited bird seemed to hover down as she stepped besides the toucan.

"Is this everyone Fourth Sister?" The small figure asked.

"Yes Third Brother, this is all of them and one of them is the Jedi we're looking for." The toucan, the so called Fourth Sister answered as the small figure, the Third Brother stepped up closer to the line of workers, pacing back and forth.

"One of you has been seen by a probe droid, we couldn't make out who exactly it was…" The Third Brother started. "But we know one of you is a Jedi…" The Third Brother stated as the workers began looking at each other, except Bia, who reached a wing to feel for her lightsaber, she had a feeling she was going to use it any second now…

"If that bird comes up now, than no one will be harmed…" The Third Brother giving a signal to the troopers, who right away raised their blasters at the ready. "If not, you all will pay for hiding the Jedi…"

No one said anything as several very long seconds to Bia passed, Bia starting to sweat as she had to do something as the Third Brother was more than ready to give the order to open fire. However Bia didn't say anything, but Carla spoke up, who began walking to the Third Brother who returned to her spot besides the Fourth Sister.

"Wait…" Carla said. "We're just workers… I been here so long, refitting and building ships… But the Empire came and we all became scrappers… To the Empire… We mean nothing… Our lives are meaningless…"

"So true…" The Third Brother taking out his own lightsaber, pointing it at Carla's chest and not even hesitating, ignited the red colored blade, which pierced through Carla's chest straight to her heart, instantly killing her as Carla's eyes opened wide open at the shock as her life was taken away.

"NOOO!" Bia shouted as she was holding her own lightsaber behind her back with a wing, igniting her own blue colored blade, raising the weapon high over her head.

Bia didn't know what she was thinking at that moment, it was just a reaction, to see her friend being treated like expandable triggered something in her… And now she was revealed to everyone as the Third Brother, took the blade out of Carla as Carla's lifeless body fell down in a heap.

"A lightsaber…" The Third Brother said with a sinister laugh. "Excellent…"

The Fourth Sister then, with the Force, grabbed onto Bia, the bigger bird holding Bia up as Bia turned off her saber as she tried getting free from the toucan's grip on her. The Fourth Sister laughing as she held Bia over a cliff, Bia looked down… It was a long way down, but she stood a better chance there than right here. So Bia reached for her saber with the Force and before the Fourth Sister could react cut her wing, Bia freeing herself, falling down and well… Landing hard, but luckily on a softer surface on a moving tram, which was running below.

"Carla…" Bia almost shedding a tear, but there was no time for that…

"Hey!" Bia heard a stormtrooper yell. "The Jedi!" The stormtrooper shouted as Bia looked to see a couple of troopers on the same car she fell on.

"Oh great…" Bia rolled her eyes as she ignited her saber as the two stormtroopers began shooing at her, their shots going left and right of Bia as she began deflecting the blaster shots.

Taking a deep breath and remembering that randomly swinging her saber wouldn't do much, she recalled her training… Moving towards the troopers, who stood their ground, Bia deflected a shot right into one of the troopers straight in the upper body, the other one risking a quick glance at his partner as Bia took that moment to slice at the trooper, killing him. Bia felt her wings holding her saber tremble, but there was no time to stay still as Bia ran out of the tram car, coming onto a flat platform car, with cargo scattered about.

"Over there!" A stormtrooper shouted as Bia looked to see several more troopers in her way, a couple on the next tram car up high and two more at the other end of the car Bia was on.

Bia quickly ducked down behind some of the cargo, using it as cover and waiting until the stormtroopers stopped firing for a second before rushing to the next piece of cover, inching her way towards the troopers. The two on Bia's level started moving froward, the troopers up top providing cover, Bia sensing them as she waited. Right as she saw the blaster ends, she swung her saber down, cutting the troopers' weapons and rendering them useless.

With the two troopers defenseless, Bia cut them down as the two up top began firing again, Bia however managing to bring up her saber in time and deflecting their shots, managing to turn their shots against them like before and taking them out. Bia headed inside the next tram car and after fighting two more troopers, came to another flatcar.

"Easier then I expected…" Bia said out loud to herself, but then she heard the noise that made her regret her words… The roar of a TIE fighter, the same one piloted by the Third Brother as the TIE came in and started blasting away at the flatcar, the Third Brother disregarding any Imperial lives as long as he got Bia.

Bia had to make a decision fast as she looked and saw a platform sticking out from a structure up ahead… Waiting for the right moment, Bia jumped for it, landing down and rolling, coming to a stop. Bia checked to see if she still had her saber and luckily she did, letting out a quick sigh of relief as Bia heard the TIE approach.

Bia prepared herself to deflect the bigger shots of the TIE, but to her surprise, the TIE just hung there as the cockpit opened up. The Third Brother appeared, looking at Bia for a few seconds in her stance before coming down, flipping about as he landed on his talons, kneeing down before standing up and reaching for his own saber with the force.

"Surrender now and your life will be spared." The Third Brother told Bia as Bia stood her ground, saber ignited and out.

"You killed my friend…" Bia reminded the Third Brother. "Do you expect me to believe you now?"

"Very well…" The Third Brother spoke as he ignited his saber, the long red blade stretching out as Bia didn't let fear control her, it was going to take all her strength and skill to survive this fight.

Coming froward, the Third Brother started the duel, clashing his red blade against Bia's blue blade, launching a fury of quick strikes while Bia stayed on the defensive. Bia knew that in order to defeat a stronger opponent, you had to tire him or her out, as long as you kept up your defense, you could wait for the right moment to strike. Only Bia wondered when that would come as the Third Brother didn't seem to lose a breath. As Bia held the Third Brother's saber with her own, their faces very close to each other, the Third Brother taunted Bia to make her angry and lose focus.

"Tell me… Jedi… Where is your master…" The Third Brother mocked. "He or she isn't here to help you… And just like your master… You will fall."

"No…" Bia said, in a voice that told the Third Brother she was getting tired.

"Oh yes… I believe you will…" The Third Brother chuckled as he then threw back Bia with his saber, Bia landing hard, but getting back up and still held out her saber in defiance. "Such empty courage… Even if you defeat me, the Empire will still come after you…"

"I'll take my chances…" Bia replied as the two clashed sabers again.

As Bia's last bit of strength was failing her, the Third Brother started his final attacks to bring Bia down and make her break, the Third Brother, launching a series of powerful strikes as Bia was once more thrown, almost to the edge of the platform. Bia on her legs and wingtips as she held her saber down, the Third Brother walking up to her, ready to deliver the final blow.

"Such a waste of talent…" The Third Brother said as he held his saber up…

However before he could strike, the sound of lasers firing happen as suddenly the Third Brother's TIE exploded in flames and both Bia and the Third Brother looked to see a rather strange looking ship that didn't seem Imperial. The ship then pointing its weapons at the Third Brother and began shooting at him, the Third Brother needing to turn his attention from Bia to the new threat as he began blocking the shots from hitting him.

As Bia recovered and stood up, the ship came closer, still firing its weapons at the Third Brother while the boarding ramp of the ship opened to reveal a male toucan, who held out a wing for Bia to take.

"Come on! Hurry!" The toucan shouted at Bia.

Bia took one last look at the Third Brother and well… Joining someone who just saved him was better than staying here with the Third Brother…

"Wouldn't be the worst decision I ever made today…" Bia quickly told herself as she rushed to get to safety, jumping the short distance between the platform and the ramp and grabbing the toucan's wing, who pulled her into the ship.

Meanwhile the Third Brother tried going after Bia, running and jumping up with saber held high while the ramp was closing and he almost made it, the ramp barely managing to close just in time. Bia was now safe… Or well at least she hoped, because she didn't know the bird who just came out of nowhere and saved her…

And I'll leave it there!

Yeah, so obviously the Fourth Sister here is Eva and the toucan who saved Bia is Rafael… But who is the Third Brother… For that… It will remain a mystery until the time is right…
