So I haven't seen a lot of Manon pregnant stories and I love the idea of Aelin and Manon bonding over motherhood which led to this story being created...On with it!

Manon POV

This was not part of the plan. No, she hadn't been taking the tonic but that shouldn't have mattered because for the entirety of the war she hadn't taken a tonic and she hadn't gotten pregnant. The moment she felt sick she went to a healer and she found out she was with a witchling.

She had come to terms with it and was beginning to understand what Asterin felt. The joy it felt to carry. Now she only had one issue: telling Dorian and the rest of the 13. By the end of the week she had decided she was going to tell Aelin first because although they had a frenemies relationship she was the only one who's opinion on the matter she didn't care about.

As she walked to Aelin's room (the King consort and Queen of Terrasen were visiting for the annual Peace Ball) she started getting nervous. What if Aelin told Dorian before she did?

"Oh, Hi Manon is there something you need. If not Buzzard he was just about to take a bath." said Aelin as she laid on the guest bed, sprawled across Rowan as he combed his fingers through her hair whilst she read a book.

" Aelin I was wondering if I could talk to you about something private in the bathroom?" I asked quietly, she nodded and we walked to the bathroom while Rowan just stared at us questioningly and confused.

As we entered the bathroom and Aelin closed the door she sat down on the floor and I joined as she questioned "So what's the issue, I know we're not the best of friends, but I'm here for you"

"I'm pregnant with a witchling" I blurted out trying to get it over with as soon as possible.

"Uh um oh ok well I wasn't expecting that but since you told me I guess… I-I am too….pregnant I mean but not with a witchling cause I'm not a witch" she stammered nervously. Throughout her little speech her face was slowly starting to get paler until beads of sweat started gathering at her hairline.

Her face turned a little green and she went and puked into the toilet, when she looked like she was finally done she turned green again and went back to throwing up for another few minutes before she finally sat back against the wall and said "Just give me a minute.". We both just sat there for a few minutes until I whispered "You wanna tell them together." She looked kinda nervous but finally nodded her head "Just give me a minute to brush my teeth, you can go get Dorian while I do it." I simply nodded my head and went off to get my princeling.

Aelin POV

While Manon walked away I started brushing teeth and then proceeded to splash some water on my face. I walked back into the bedroom and Rowan asked "What was THAT about Fireheart?". "Oh nothing, me and Manon just need to have a conversation with you and Dorian." He raised an eyebrow at me which just infuriated me. I had never managed to do that.

Manon and Dorian walked in at that moment and I suddenly remembered what we were about to do. Dorian looked at Rowan smirked, and said "She said we all need to have a talk too. Right?" Rowan didn't look very chatty at the moment and just nodded. At that moment I looked towards Manon with a silent question in my eyes. She nodded and spoke up.

Manon looked straight at Dorian and calmly stated "Don't freak out". Manon sighed and like she did with me she blurted out "I'm pregnant… and so is Aelin though she's a little farther along than me." Dorian just looked confused and had tears streaming down his face but Rowan was the one who worried me.

I knew why his face had turned cold and the blood had left his face. He was thinking about Lyria, his pregnant love who never got to have her baby because she was killed while he was away. Surprisingly it was Rowan who spoke up first "Wh-when did you find out" he stuttered. I took a deep breath with a ghost of a smile on my face and whispered "I found out about a month ago."

I'm about 3 months pregnant, I'm gonna start showing soon." Just when Rowan seemed like he was going to speak I started feeling nauseous and ran to the bathroom hoping I'd make it to the toilet in time. Ten minutes pass by and I'm finally finished when I realize someone is holding my hair back.

I turn to see Rowan and mutter "Hey Buzzard, didn't see you there". He doesn't say, he just proceeded to pick me up princess style despite my many shouts of protest and carried me to bed, I noticed that Manon and Dorian had left but right now that was the least of my concern. "Territorial Fae Bastard" I mutter under my breath. Once he finishes tucking me in to bed he scooches up close to me. Out of nowhere he jumps forward and hugs me and quietly whispers with tears in his eyes "Thank you so much". I just hug him back feeling so lucky to have him as my mate."I'll leave you here to rest. From now until you have our child. No more chocolate cake, only healthy foods.

You can take a light walk each day for exercise but no more training, an-" I cut him off right there and shouted "Now hold on you Territorial Fae Bastard, I get that you love this baby very much and want the best for them but there is no way in hell I'm going to give up chocolate cake or training. Buzzard, I'm pregnant, not an invalid!" "But Aelin what if all that training and chocolate cake hurts the baby" exclaimed Rowan.

"That's not going to work, you Territorial Fae Beast. I asked my midwife/healer and she said that it was perfectly okay for me to train and that it was actually healthy for the baby to stay active. As for the chocolate cake "issue" she said that as long as that wasn't all I was eating then I could eat as much as I want" I replied back giddily. "I can see that I won't win this argument but this isn't over. When's your next appointment?"

I responded "In 4 weeks, it's just a check-up to make sure everything is as it should be". Rowan replied with a sigh and just said "I'm going to go get you some water, in the meantime you need rest" He walked out of the room just as I yelled "Territorial Fae Beast" at him.

Dorian POV

I was shocked to say the least. I mean Manon and I hadn't talked about having kids and this wasn't expected. I was just about to ask her when she found out when everything around me suddenly got dark around the edges of my vision until blackness consumed me….
