"What's going on down there?" Asked Daria."What's that...breathing? I can hear it from up here."

"I don't know." Runt said. After the humans in white had killed the wolves, they dragged their bodies to a pile. They all then hid in the trees, the old human with white hair the only one near Saw Tooth Cave. When some odd creatures, only one of them human, came out of the forest, the humans in white, along with the one in dark and his weird breathing, came out and surrounded them.

The human had brought out an odd box that Runt had never see before. The old human with white hair, and a weird thing over his left eye, was putting on a thing he called "Armor".

"I [KZZT] Celeste. The Muur Talisman, I said, isn't just a knickknack [KZZT] when it latches onto someone, then the beginds!" Said a voice from down there.

"Who's that?" Asked Daria.

"I...I don't know who's speaking." Runt said, equally confused.

"We once saw it shoot out flaming zots of energy and the Mandalorians [KZZT] became Rakghouls! Well, it affects humans and some other species [KZZT] but Jedi and, naturally, Snivvians are immune. Raks weren't your typical big, dumb and [KZZT] whoever's using the Talisman thinks for them [KZZT] use the skills they used to have! There was trouble once Celeste got [KZZT] luckily, I recognized Lord Dreypa's Oubliette [KZZT] my years of research into Sith History.

" [KZZT] We got her inside, the Oubliette seemed to smother the power of the Talisman. Who knew the Mandalorians were gonna nuke [KZZT]"

"Gryph!" Said another voice. Runt and Daria leaned closer to listen...only to accidentally slide down from the cave. Thankfully, none of the humans noticed them. They quickly hid in some bushes."What kind of story are you telling?!"

"My memoirs."

"That recording was made almost four-thousand-years ago. It was part of a cache of artifacts, mostly gems and precious metals, discovered during the sacking of Muunilist." Said the old human wearing the big "Armor"."I believe it details events which occurred just prior to the Mandalorian bombardment of Jebble, the planet where the object was first discovered. You heard the mention of "Lord Dreypa's Oubliette"? I've not been able to find a record of it any of the ancient sources, but I suspect it may date from the formation of the Old Republic. Of Sith origins, of course-"

"You're certain the Muur Talisman is inside." Said the human in dark, interrupting the old man.

"Well, one can never be one hundred percent certain of anything, but it is in my opinion that we have before us a stasis device of some kind, know as Lord Dreypa's Oubliette, and that within it is the talisman of the Sith Lord Karness Muur and a Jedi from forty past centuries."

Jedi? Sith? Mandalorian's? Who are these humans? Runt wondered.

"I sense something..." Said the man in dark. He was looking at the bushes. The dark man was wearing a helmet, so Runt couldn't see his face. But Runt knew he was looking directly at Daria.

And Daria was looking at him.

The dark man looked back at the long box, standing in front of it."Now, there are just a few tests I'd like to make, readings, before-"

Suddenly, the dark man brought out something red that hummed that nearly hit the old man.

"NO! Don't open-"

The dark man used the red thing to cut off the lid of the box.

"Lord Vader! I beg you, do not open the casket yet!" The old man said, running to grab something."You heard what the Snivvian said in the recording, exposure to the Talisman can cause some sentient beings to transform into Rakghouls!"

"What's a Rakghoul?" Asked Daria.

"I don't know...but it doesn't sound good." Runt said. He then saw the old man put a bubble of glass over his head.

"Your own connection to the Force will protect you, but...Stars...it's true..." Runt looked to see...another human? It looked female and wore odd clothing and had something around her neck.

She didn't move in the casket.

"No more than I expected. "Stasis Casket" or not, no one could survive four-thousand-years..."

Suddenly, the woman shot up from the box.

"ZAYNE!"

"ZAYNE!" Yelled Celeste Morne, her eyes widening as she shot up. The first thing she heard was a slow yet loud breathing.

"Have the Jedi come...?" She asked, looking to see a man in a dark helmet."Are you...did you free me?" She then touched her neck, feeling the Talisman. She closed her eyes."No. It's still there...I can feel it...I can feel him..."

Her eyes widened at what she saw."NO!"

Lord Karness Muur, one of the Sith who had fought in the Hundred-year-Darkness, was still here."No...you're still with me..."

"Curse that fool Dreypa and his blasted Oubliette!" Muur exclaimed in anger."What use is it to live through the millennia if one is trapped inside a box? And to be put inside so soon after finding a suitable host!"

"Millennia?" Celeste repeated. She put her hands to her head."How long? How long were we...was I inside?"

"It's difficult to say for certain, but I believe you entered the Oubliette just before the bombardment of Jebble." Said an old, male human wearing odd armor."Truly, It's a miracle that this device sustained you for so long-"

"HOW LONG?!" She yelled at him.

He gulped."Four-thousand-years."

Celeste's eyes widened."Four thousand..."

"So much time wasted!" Muur said angrily again.

She ignored him."Then Zayne failed..." She looked at the old human."And the Covenant? Was it successful?"

"I know nothing of a 'Covenant'." He said honestly.

"Then what about the Rakghouls?"

"Isolated on Taris and eventually wiped out." He answered.

"And the Mandalorians. Did the Mandalorians conquer the Republic?"

"No."

"Then the Republic still stands!" She said in surprise.

"No." He shook his head."The Republic was overthrown by the Sith..." He pointed to the man in dark.

"Sith?" Celeste said in shock.

"Sith!" Smiled Karness Muur.
