For a guy such as Albus, this was a very easy question, since he is skilled and the Patronus Charm is a spell his father can cast at the highest level, which is something most wizards won't be able to do.
It is a fact that over 50 % of the adults working for the Ministry cannot properly produce a full corporeal Patronus.
The spell is very advanced an only a rare few can cast it with 100 % success.
Albus has been taught by his dad how to do it and so has Albus' brother James.
Harry decided to teach his sons this particular spell, since he knew how useful it can truly be.
Therefore both James and Albus already knew how to cast this spell when they began their respective third year at Hogwarts.
Being able to do that is rare.
Not many third year Hogwarts students has ever been able to properly cast the Patronus Charm.
Those who've done so are a unique minority of talended students.
Among these are Harry Potter himself, as well as his father James Potter and also Remus Lupin and Sirius Black and a few others.
