Weeks had passed with Kaori and Rose and before they knew it, it had been two months since they returned to Magnolia. A few weeks ago, Lucy had left on a mission, but she was glad to be back home. Lucy sighed she had just gotten home from a particularly difficult mission and Kaori had just informed her that she and Rose had found an apartment and moved out last week. The Oracion Seis were no easy task even with the pain her body was putting her through, but they had won with the help of Jellal. Walking into his house she felt at peace but sighed as the darkness that enveloped her. Half a year had gone by since the battle of Fairy Tail and there had been no sign of Laxus. In the beginning everyone had treated her like a doll that would break, but it stopped when Bickslow, Freed, and Evergreen stepped in and it completely ended when Kaori returned. Since then they would check in on her every so often. She was grateful but knew her time was running down if he didn't come home soon. Setting her stuff down in the living room she kicked her shoes off and made for the stairs. Lately his room was the only place she could sleep. She had stayed on the couch for a while after he left, but she just couldn't sleep.

Lucy was halfway up the stairs when she felt herself tremble and fall to the ground. "No why now? I had it under control before." The attacks were getting worse and even though Lucy convinced herself she would be fine she knew that it was only a matter of time before her time would be up. Loke came through his gate and picked her up and walked up the rest of the stairs. Putting her to bed her watched as she breathed heavily groaning in agony. "Lucy… I'm sorry, but I can't keep my promise to you anymore." He walked down the stairs and ran out of the house with her house key. Making his way to the guild he transformed into his guild form. Entering he saw the thunder legion lounging up on the second floor. Grabbing Natsu by his scarf he dragged him up the stairs and stopped in front of the three other mages. "What the hell Loke!" He looked at him but stopped whatever else he was going to say once he saw what he was wearing and the look in Lokes' eyes. "We have a problem. Natsu told Lucy about six months ago that she and Laxus were mates. If you have questions about that ask him as I don't fully understand it, but we need to find him. Lucy in becoming increasingly weak at an alarming rate," he said.

The legion and Natsu all looked at him in horror. Loke thought he heard Natsu call Laxus an idiot. "Then we must help her," said Freed. The others nodded before Erza walked up. "I couldn't help but overhear. If this is for Lucy, then we need all the help we can get." Standing on the ledge she called to the whole guild. "Listen up everyone! Lucy needs our help! Anyone who is free to help get up here!" There was movement and quickly they had a huge group standing around the table. Loke was surprised at how many people had the time but smiled as he and Natsu explained as best as they could what was going on. As it turned out Natsu had noticed she was in pain but didn't have as much time to look for Laxus. Suddenly Makarov appeared out of nowhere with Kaori and Rose and looked at his children. "Alright if everyone here is willing, I won't stop you for Lucys' sake I hope you find him." "Master maybe calling in help from some of the other guilds wouldn't hurt," said Laki. He furrowed his brow before looking at her. "Only if they can help, but other than that I want us to try and do our best without them," he said. Everyone nodded with determination in their eyes.

Makarov stood up and had everyone line up. "You will go in groups of two or three. Macao and Wakaba. Alzack and Bisca. Wendy, Carla, and Reedus. Gajeel, Lily, and Levy. Jet and Droy. Natsu, Lisanna and Happy. Evergreen and Elfman. Freed and Mirajane. Cana and Bickslow. Vijeeter, Warren, and Nab. Max and Laki. Mest and Erza. Gray and Juvia. Erza and Mest you will head to Blue Pegasus while Gray and Juvia leave for Lamia Scale. Go my children and help save Lucy." Everyone ran out until Freed and Mirajane were left standing there. He looked at them before nodding. "I understand, I will have you stay nearby and take turns checking in on her as Loke cannot always be here." "Thank you Master," they said. Loke looked on as everyone left when Kaori touched his shoulder. "You have been watching over her and now it's our turn to watch her while you rest." He slammed his fists on the rail. "All I wanted was to help her, but I was useless!" "You weren't useless. Big sister Lucy said she always counts on you to help her when she needs it the most," said Rose. He looked at her and knelt down to her level. "Thank you, Rose," he said hugging her

Mirajane was with Lucy when Freed came in to trade off with her. "Anything new?" he asked. "No, but I'm worried she only seems to be going through pain. It has been about a week and no one has been able to find him. Even with Lamia Scales' Team Lyon and Blue Pegasus' Team Trimen little has shown up," said Mira. Freed held her hand and looked at her kindly. "Don't worry they will find him. Have faith Mira." With that he took his turn so Mira could go rest. He sat in the chair and looked at Lucy. So much had happened in the last year and now she was suffering the consequences of their actions. He took Lucys' hand and looked at her face. "Hang on Lucy, He will come back. Please just hold on."

Meanwhile on Tenrou Island Cana and Bickslow had just landed. It came to them a few days ago after using their lacrima to speak with the rest of the teams. "Do you think that he could really be here?" asked Cana. "Don't know, but everywhere else has been a dead end. I think we should rest before we look for him." Nodding they set up camp and got some rest first. The next morning Cana and Bickslow started walking and came across the remains of a small village. "I didn't know people use to live here," said Cana. "Neither did I but look at the center building. It looks almost like a guild hall," said Bickslow. "When we have time, I want to explore this, but right now Lucy needs us to find Laxus," said Cana. Nodding they continued onwards. They were almost to where Bickslow said Mavis' grave was when they saw someone. Cana took a step forward when Bickslow held out his arm. "Let me talk to him. I respect you want to help Lucy, but Laxus is a bit hard headed." Nodding she let him go on alone.

Bickslow knew it was Laxus the moment they were in view. He could feel the air around them. "Hey Boss man," he said. Laxus turned to see Bickslow and surprise was evident on his face before he smirked. "Bickslow what are you doing here?" he asked. The seith wizard looked at his friend before taking off his helmet and visor. This caused Laxus to look at him. The only time he took it off is when he was serious. "You need to come home. Blondie isn't doing great. She is feeling the effects of being away from you for so long. And according to Freed and Mira she hasn't woken up in two days. If this continues, she will be in danger of dying." Laxus looked at Bickslow before nodding. "Lets' go then." He walked past Cana and nodded as they headed back to the shore. As they walked down towards the shore Laxus grabbed a tree and slumped down on the ground causing Bickslow to lean down. "Yo man are you alright?" he asked. Grunting he stood up while breathing heavily. "I just want to get on the boat," said Laxus. When they reach the shore and got on the boat he relaxed, and Cana got on the communication lacrima.

That night as Freed was getting ready to switch out with Mira she came in smiling with tears in her eyes. "They found him Freed and he's coming home." He was glad for Mira, but mostly for Lucy. She needed this more than anyone else.
