Tony Almeida and his friends search Jack and Audrey. Tony knows better than anyone not to underestimate Jack Bauer, even if he seems to be defeated. Once Jack and Audrey are bound and gagged Tony Begins recording a message, and broadcasting it over the internet. Tony is the only person from his group seen in the recording.

Tony: My name is Tony Almeida, I am a retired marine, and former director of CTU Washington D.C. Behind me are Jack Bauer and Audrey Raines. A little over a year ago these two conspired with known terrorist Ishmael Ali, who is now deceased. They used the weaponized Cordella virus to threaten the United States, and nine other countries, to dismantle their respective nuclear bombs. They claim that they never had any intention of actaully releasing this plague. But whatever their intentions, the end result was the same. The plague was unleashed, and over ten thousand americans died. One of them, was my wife Michelle. I have captured these two war criminals, but this has nothing to do with politics. It's just about good old fashioned revenge. Although I intend to take every precaution, I know there is a chance that Jack will escape and kill me. Should that happen, I want it known they are alive, and currently in Washington D.C. Let them be found and tried in a court of law should I fail.

Jack knew that even if he escaped from Tony's group, the chances of escaping the country just went down. Tony figured it was only a matter of time before the police found them now, so he should get started with their revenge.

Their is still panic at the airport. Many people are trying to flee in whatever vehicles they can find. In this sense Courtney Cofell and Ted jr don't stand out. They see a cab that is almost full. A man sees them and offers these two children his seat. Courtney thanks this man and she and Ted sqeeze inside.

President Donovan is told about the situation at the airport. Clearly Ted Cofell was murdered to keep him from talking. Hopefully airport security can find the sniper before he can escape. In the meantime CTU is looking though Ted Cofell's business dealings, it might be their best chance to discover who else is involved in this.

Curtis Manning arrives at CTU. Jamey and Milo are looking through Ted Cofell's business dealings. Most will likely be dead ends, but with less than five hours before the peace talks begin, it's their best lead. But the attention of this organization is soon taken by a video broadcast over the internet. It clearly shows Tony Almeida holding Jack Bauer and Audrey Raines hostage.

Curtis: What should we do about this?
Mason: If you've noticed, we have more important things to worry about.
Curtis: But these people could provide a lead.
Mason: That's doubtful. None of these people have been involved in our work for well over a year. And I know Jack and Audrey well enough to know they would never be involved with someone like Sabzi.
Curtis: They worked with Ishmael Ali.
Mason: That was about forcing nuclear disarmament, Sabzi wants to stop peace talks. Tony said it himself, it's just about revenge. Let the local police handle it, if they ask us to provide intel on any of these three people we do it. When this crisis is over we'll focus our attention on apprehending these three. In the meantime we try to find out who Ted Cofell was working with, at least until we find a better lead.
