Tony has Jack tied up, and he begins torturing him.
.
Tony: If I thought you had useful intel, I probably wouldn't be torturing you right now. You're trained in all the same resistanc tactics as me, anything you gave me would probably be a lie. But even the strongest soldier can't get through torture without feeling pain, and that's really what I'm interested in right now.
Jack: I'm sorry about what happenned to Michelle.
Tony: You killed her Jack. I believed you when you said you never intended for the plague to be released. But you're not stupid Jack, you knew there was always the possibility it would happen. You might not have intended for Michelle to die, but you are responsible.
Jack: I know. Who are these people you're working with?
Tony: The enemy of my enemy is my friend. People whose loved ones died because of your and Audrey's scheme. That doesn't narrow it down much but it's all you'll get.
Jack: The police will find you after your broadcast.
Tony: You're probably right about that. Maybe I can plead insanity, I get a jury of citizens who you helped kill I'm willing to take my chances. Everyone on my team is willing to take their chances before a jury. We know that, if the police find us, you and Audrey will suffer far worse than us. Even if you escape somehow, we both know that you won't escape the country now. Maybe the police will find us soon, so we better get to work.

Kimberly Bauer and her husband Jamal were woken up by a loud knock on their door. This knocking also woke up their baby, little Jack. Kim went to comfort and feed her son while Jamal answered the door. It was officer Hanson. Many years ago Kim had gotten involved with a radical environmental group, they tried and failed to unleash the Cordella virus to greatly reduce the human population. She spent twelve years in prison. After she got out she met Jamal, who was also in prison. Both tried to put their pasts behind them and start anew, from this they fell in love. There were some who would never forget, or forgive. Hanson wasn't as bad as some, but he clearly didn't trust these two. Why he was here now they weren't sure.
.
Hanson: Hey Jamal, I need to talk to Kim.
Kim: I'm a little busy with the baby.
Hanson: It's about your father.
Kim: I haven't seen him in over a year. The day I told him I was pregnant, was the same day he became a fugitive, I have no idea what continent he's even on.
Hanson: North America, at least as of 15 minutes ago.
Kim: What do you mean?
.
Hanson then showed her Tony's broadcast.
.
Kim: He's alive.
Hanson: Assuming that this guy hasn't killed him yet.
Kim: That's Tony Almeida. He and my father were friends, but my father's scheme got Tony's wife Michelle killed.
Hanson: Which explains the video, why he's got them tied up.
Kim: Tony wants my father and Audrey suffer for what they took from him. Are you searching for them?
Hanson: Yes, but we also have other priorities at the moment.
Kim: Like what?
Hanson: What do you know about the peace talks?
Kim: Just what I've heard on the news. President Donovan is trying to make peace with the taliban, and some extremists are trying to disrupt it.
Hanson: About an hour ago there was an incident on a bus. It was just a water balloon bomb, but we fear it might have been a warning shot. We fear there will be more. And I understand that Jamal has an event planned for later today.
Jamal: It's a little league game, a way to help relations between jewish and muslim communities in this country.
Hanson: And if Alqueda or similar groups want to disrupt the peace talks, this game seems like exactly what they might want to attack.
Jamal: We've faced death threats before. But admittedly some parents might take their children out of today's game.
Hanson: We're placing an officer at the game for everyone's safety, thought you deserved a head's up.
Jamal: Thank you, I appreciate it.
Hanson: And Kim, you have no idea where Tony Almeida might be holding your father and Audrey Raines?
Kim: I assume some place he won't be found. I haven't seen or spoken with Tony since that day. If he were planning to hurt my father, would he tell me?
Hanson: Fair point. I'll be on my way.
.
Hanson left, and Kim and Jamal began talking.
.
Jamal: Are you okay?
Kim: I don't know. I always knew someone would track my father down one day, and frankly Tony was at the top of my list. I tried to prepare myself, but actually seeing it...
Jamal: If you want I could stay with you today.
Kim: No. We've both made mistakes, we need to make amends. And if playing in these little league games can convince these children to not fall in with the terrorists, you need to do this.

Navi Araz watched the news while eating with his wife Dina and son Behrooz. The news shows were talking about today's upcoming peace talks. Navi wanted to put a stop to them, he could not let his muslim brothers surrender, not until the americans were defeated. If things went according to plan, they would use homicide bombers to attack baseball, America's national pasttime. And one particular game represented everything that Navi Araz despised, it would be his pleasure to help destroy it.

Courtney Cofell and her little brother Ted were still in the cab. The cab driver was trying to drive as far away from the airport as possible. All the other passengers were gone, they figured they were far enough away and had gotten out. But Courtney knew that her father was right, people really were out to get them. She didn't know where to go or who she could trust. But she soon had a more immediate problem. Ted had diabetes, and he began having an attack. In her rush to get away from her father's killers Courtney had forgotten his insulin. She had to get more soon, or her brother might die.
