Courtney Cofell was in line at the pharmacy. When it was her turn she asked the pharmacist for some insulin.

.

Courtney: My little brother has diabetes. He needs some insulin.

Pharmacist: I just need his prescription.

Courtney: Slight problem on that. Have you heard what happened at the airport?

Pharmacist: Yeah, someone got shot by a terrorist.

Courtney: Me and my brother fled after that. In all the rush we forgot his prescription.

Pharmacist: You can call his doctor and he can fax me the prescription.

Courtney: I don't actually know the name of his doctor, but Ted could die without the insulin.

Pharmacist: I'm sorry, but I could lose my lisence, wind up in jail, if I sell without a prescription.

.

Courtney opened her purse, tried to make it look like she was looking for the prescription. But she made sure the pharmacist saw inside, saw that she was holding a gun in her purse. This convinced the pharmacist to give Courtney the insulin. Courtney then handed him some money, hoped it was enough, and then ran back to the taxi.

Tony continued to torture Jack, he didn't resist. A part of Jack knew he deserved to suffer right now. He and Audrey were responsible for over ten thousand innocent deaths. Who Tony's 11 accomplices were was really anyone's guess, anyone of the loved ones of those who died. The police would probably find them, it was really just a question of how much damage would be done before then.

At CTU Jamey Farrell alerted George Mason about a development.

.

Jamey: The woman who shot her doctor husband.

Mason: What about her?

Jamey: It seems that her infant baby was just dropped off with her sister. I think the terrorists might have used her child as leverage.

Mason: You might be right. It's called a tiger kidnapping. The Irish Republican Army developed it in the 1970s, it was later adopted by the Ulster Defense Association and the Taliban and other insurgent groups in Afghanistan have used it. The basics are you kidnap a loved one of your target, then force them to commit a crime like bank robbery or murder. Good work.

.

As Mason returned to his office Curtis Manning approached him.

.

Curtis: You think that the murder of the doctor involved a tiger kidnapping?

Mason: Yes, why?

Curtis: According to intel we got from Hekmetyar and pakistani intelligence the terrorist Sabzi is the one most likely behind these attacks. Our files say that Sabzi has used this method against afghans who cooperated with american forces. It does occur to me that we might have an untapped resource.

Mason: Are you talking about Nina Myers?

Curtis: Yes. She infiltrated his organization.

Mason: Until she sold out this country.

Curtis: Nevertheless she knows his tactics better than anyone else. And if we fail to stop Sabzi's plans, I'd like to be able to say we did everything we could to stop him.

Mason: I'll speak to the prison authorities, you go there now and if they let you talk to her do what you can.
