Sirius looked over at Remus as the last stanza of the end credits for Titanic played. It had been Remus's idea to watch the movie. After all, it was rather educational in value when it came to the events of that night. But what had won Sirius over was the total usability of one scene in particular.
"Remus," Sirius said, turning his head to look at his lovable Jack in wolf's clothing.
"No, Sirius," Remus said, thinking he was answering the question quite right.
Sirius's face fell into a pout. Remus hadn't even given him a chance to ask the question before flat out saying no. How did he know the question was something that deserved a no? How did he know it wasn't something that deserved a repeated yes?
"Okay," Sirius said, pretend to sigh and standing up from the couch they'd been sitting on for hours. "I guess I'll go ask Prongsie to draw me like one of Jack's french girls then."
Remus had been taking a sip of his tea when Sirius had said this and just so happening spit the whole mouthful out on the table in front of him.
"You're going to what?" he asked.
"You heard me, Moon pie love of my life," Sirius said, hooking his fingers into his belt loops in that alluring way that always got Remus hot and bothered. "I'm going to go ask Prongsie to draw me like on Jack's french girls."
"No, you aren't," Remus said, jumping to his feet. "If anyone is going to draw you like one of Jack's french girls it's going to be me."
"Is that a hint of jealousy and a wand in your pocket, Moony?" Sirius asked, biting his lower lip in a way he knew turned Remus on. "Or are you just trying to get me naked?"
"Are we doing this or not?" Remus asked, ignoring the question his lover asked as he led the way into the drawing-room. It did after all have the most comfortable of the couches and the best light for painting.
Remus nodded to the couch in the room as Sirius closed and locked the door behind him. He knew that this could only end in one of two ways and both seemed rather enjoyable to him. The first being Remus would paint him naked and end up thinking about them being together, the whole. The second and one he was more hopeful of happening was that Remus would draw and paint his portrait naked and then instead of just thinking of being intimate with Sirius they'd become intimate then and there. That was the rather more enjoyable option and the one that Sirius would have gone with if it was him in this situation. He wasn't entirely sure what Moony would do though. After all, he always seemed to get jealous when Sirius said something of a sexual nature involving Prongs.
Remus got out his art supplies, his heart hammering in his chest the entire time. It wasn't as though he hadn't seen Sirius naked before. They'd been intimate with each other before. Just not the way that Rose and Jack had been.
"What do you want me to do?" Sirius asked, that sensual tone to his voice that was begging for something more than what they usually had.
"Disrobe," Remus said, trying not to look back at Sirius because he knew that if he did all this would be forgotten. "Then get comfortable on the bed...no couch."
Sirius chuckle thickly. The want and need that was laced through that chuckle sent a jolt up and down Remus's spine. But he tried his hardest to focus on getting his supplies together. Picking out the right canvas. The right colors. The hues.
"Is this alright?" Sirius asked, trying to bring Remus's attention away from what he was doing. Trying to make Remus look before he was ready. Remus was a professional artist in the same way that Jack was. He made his living from drawing off the streets and real life.
"Remus," Sirius said, impatience growing in his voice.
Remus turned around once all his supplies had been gathered and groaned as he saw the slender cat-like body of Sirius draped across the couch. To him, Sirius was like a Greek Adonis just laying there. His eyes pleading to be taken right there and then. But Sirius had asked Remus to draw him and draw him he would.
"Th...that's perfect," he said, gulping past the dryness in his mouth. "Move your right arm here." He moved the arm that covering Sirius's modesty to rest in a provocative way over his head making sure to keep his eyes focused on the storm cloud grey ones that were now filled with lust.
"Um…" Sirius said, trying to cover the hint of a blush on his face.
"You said you wanted to be drawn like one of Jack's girls, right?" Remus asked, arranging the other arm so that it looked like Sirius was lounging and not posing for some sexy picture.
"Yes," Sirius said, trying to articulate what he was thinking.
"Did you see in any of those drawings a girl covering herself?"
Sirius shook his head, sending his raven hair over his shoulder in a way that made Remus want to run his finger through it.
Remus tussled the hair a bit to make it look like Sirius was just waking from a nap. He loved the way that Sirius's hair looked when tussled. Those storm cloud grey eyes looking hungrily up at him as their owner devoured him greedily.
"I think we're ready," Remus said, pulling his thoughts away from his lover's generous mouth. He walked over and picked up the pencil and sketch pad that Sirius had bought him as a Christmas present a year ago. He'd been dropping hints that he wanted to work more on his art and was glad to see that at least someone was picking up on the hints.
"What do I do?" Sirius asked, moving to get comfortable.
"Sit absolutely still and move back to the position I had you in," Remus said, watching as Sirius shifted back into the position he'd been in. "Perfect."
Remus started by drawing the contours of Sirius's body. The way that one would run their hands up and down a lover's body before having their way with him or her. Drawing the musculature of the thighs and claves. The curves of the knees and ankles. The tight muscles of Sirius's stomach and that small patch of hair that led down to….
"Are you blushing, Moon pie?" Sirius asked, chuckling that thick chuckle once more. "I'm pretty sure that the painter Monet never blushed while he was working."
"That's because his work was in plant life and not human," Remus remarked as his pencil caressed the paper like a lover's hand over the skin of that most private area of Sirius's body.
"I've heard that plants can cause a lot of blushing," Sirius remarked as he watched Remus's intent eyes that seemed to be more fixated on the paper than his body.
Then he drew the muscular arms and those perfect pectorals of Sirius's chest. He focused on Sirius's face, wanting to catch every minute mannerism. Every perfect line and crease that had been drawn there by the war that had been subverted by James choosing to wed Regulus instead of Lily.
"Are you almost done, Moon pie, my perfect lover?" Sirius asked, trying not to move his mouth so much so that he didn't ruin anything. "My arms are all pins and needles and I think my butt fell asleep just laying here."
Remus chuckled. He had a few ideas of how to wake said feature up but he had to finish his drawing first.
"Admit it, Sirius," he said, watching as Sirius's bedroom eyes locked onto his own. "You're enjoying this."
"Maybe a little," Sirius said, smirking with his eyes as he watched Remus put the finishing touches on the picture. "Can I take a look?"
Remus nodded.
He heard Sirius's feet padding across the room and soon his warm presence was over the top of Remus in that comforting way that Sirius had about him. He heard a sharp intake of breath from his subject and then felt…
"I know for certain that isn't a wand because you don't' have any pockets," Remus smiled, allowing his lips to be captured by Sirius's.
"Shall we make use of this couch's other function, Moony love of my life and most perfect mate?" Sirius asked, nipping at Remus's neck a bit.
"I was hoping you'd suggest that," he purred as he pulled Sirius towards the couch which had turned into a bed with a flick of Remus's wand. Clothes being shed and kisses being shared. After all, that had been the purpose of Sirius asking Remus to draw him naked, hadn't it?
James was about to go into the drawing-room and fetch some of the art supplies that Remus had gotten for Christmas last year. But he stopped hearing the springs of the couch squeaking a mile a minute and Remus's and Sirius's moaning.
"I think maybe we should wait until later, Reg," he called, walking back into the living room where his husband of a year was waiting to play Pictionary with Peter Pettigrew and the Bones. "Who wants to play Charades?"
I hope you all enjoyed WolfStar Rom-Com Variety Hour as much as I enjoyed writing it. Feel free to leave me a suggestion as to a scene that you would like to see WolfStared.
