Jarons POV*

It was late in the morning and I had no motivation to do any sorts of work right now, for tonight is the Night of Silken Stars. I was in my office 'viewing paperwork'. I was waiting for a very special package to come, one I had been working on for a while now. Then there was a knock on my door. "Come in"

"Your Majesty, I have a package for you, from her Majesty's family." The elder servant said, I recognized him to be Harriet Scottmen, a man always making deliveries to Tobias for god knows what. Before he left he bowed and placed a box wrapped in brown paper. I smiled to myself having no idea why I was getting this, but as soon as I saw the contents of what were inside, my smile only grew bigger.

It was a quarter past twenty-one and I was in business of walking to Imogen's room. I had spent almost three whole hours getting dressed for my night with my love. Usually I wasn't this nervous to have romantic nights planned with her. I mean yes I was nervous, but not like this.

When I got to her door I knocked three times.

Nothing.

Then she opened the door.

And I all the sudden, then and there I wanted to praise my flower for the beauty she has. She had on a beige silk dress with a tea green elaborate design around her waist that matched her eyes, while her her hair fell in beautiful dark brown curls down her back. It was simple and mesmerizing and anything and everything you would expect from a wonderful person like her, but also so much more. All at the same time. If that even makes sense.

I let out a sigh while saying the only word I could really think to say, "Hello"

She let out a small laugh and responded, "Hello my love." As soon as she finished those words, I couldn't help myself, I leaned in and gave her a kiss and reluctantly pulled away. "You look very handsome." she said while running her smoothed hands to sit in mine, right where they belong.

"And you look as radiant as ever." she giggled, "Also, today is in fact your name day, so that means we have even more reason to celebrate."

"Really, I would much rather just spend my night with you if thats alright."

"Perfect, I get you all to myself." she giggled again before I lead her to the roof.

We spent the night laughing, and eating small desserts and watching the festivities in town from afar.

"I got a letter from your mother this morning."

"Oh?"

"Yes, and not only that it came with something as well."

"Should I apologize?"

I laughed and relpied, "No, quite the opposite in fact."

"Well what was it?"

I leaned over her and pulled out brown wooden box from the basket, "This" she took it and gave me a questioning look. I nodded in encouragement, "Go ahead."

When she opened it, there sat a silver lock with a brand of a bird on the back, and a silver key to match.

"Is this-"

"If you want to read the letter as well you can, but she explained to me how this was your parents lock and key they used for Silken Stars. She also told me something else."

"And what is that?" Again, I leaned over her and pulled out a brilliant red rose from the basket, as I did a small gasp escaped her mouth. "Oh, thats what she told you."

"She told me how every year on your name day your father would give you a rose. Thats why I figured you didn't like to celebrate, it hurt to much without your father, that and well... your Imogen." I could see tears brimming her eyes as she smiled, "In no way am I trying to replace him Imogen, but I am telling you that im always going to be here for you, always."

She turned to me wrapping her arms around my neck, "Your too good for me."

"I'd argue i'm not good enough."

Reaching over and grabbing the lock, I turned to her, "You ready?" she let out a small laugh and took the key. As soon as I heard the click of the silver, my lips where on hers.

"I love you" she whispered.
