George Mason still isn't sure if he trusts Jack Bauer. Still, if he, Audrey, and Tony are actually willing to turn themselves in, then they are likely telling the truth. They would only sacrifice themselves if there was no other choice, if it was the only way to stop Dubaku. Mason sends a team to come and arrest them.

Jack and Audrey wait. in a few minutes they'll be arrested, and spend the rest of their lives. Jack quietly speaks to Chloe.

Jack: They can't prove we didn't force you to cooperate with us. Audrey and I will back you up on that.
Chloe: Thank you Jack.

Tony holds Jane and Mahmoud at gunpoint.

Jane: You betrayed us Tony.
Tony: I'm sorry it worked out this way. I'll tell CTU how I brought you guys into this, I'll try to persuade them to go easy on you.
Mahmoud: And we're suppossed to take your word on this?
Tony: You'll just have to wait and see.

President Donovan is speaking with vice-president Wallace Brady on the phone.

Donovan: The attacks are suppossed to take place in less than two hours. I know you're scheduled to go to the baseball game between West Point and Annapolis, that could easily be a target.
Brady: These cadets are not just our future soldiers, they're our future officers. It will be a target for Sabzi whether or not I go.
Donovan: I'd rather not have my vice-president in harm's way.
Brady: We can't just back down every time the terrorists make a threat, or we'd never get anything done. Besides, the increased security of my presence probably makes Max Bishop Stadium safer.
Donovan: Maybe. Just be careful.
Brady: You too, you're the one meeting with a taliban leader in less than an hour.

At the Pakistani embassy Hekmetyar is preparing to go to Camp David for the peace summit. His chief of security, Firash, tries to warn him.

Firash: I do not trust these americans.
Hekmetyar: Donovan won't have me killed here.
Firash: Perhaps, but his staff hate you. Anyone at Camp David could poison your food.
Hekmetyar: If it makes you feel better, you could taste my food for me.
Firash: You know as well as I do that Sabzi is not the only one calling you a traitor for negotiating with the americans. I will not always be able to protect you from assasination.
Hekmetyar: Believe me, I know. But I must do what is best for my people, not what is best for myself. We have soldiers fighting the americans, who were not even born when the americans invaded. We must make peace, or their children will one day be fighting this war.

CTU arrives at Chloe's house. They quickly arrest Jack, Audrey, Tony, Jane, Mahmoud, and Chloe. Hopefully they will believe Chloe was forced to help them, the district attorney might go easy on Tony, Jane, and Mahmoud. But Jack knew that he and Audrey would never be free again.
