Camp David is now on lockdown. Firash is being rushed to surgery, the doctors will try to remove whatever poison he was given before it's too late. Hekmetyar stays by his friend's side, wanting to make sure the american doctors save his life. President Donovan speaks with Aron Pierce, a Secret Service agent.

Donovan: How could this happen?
Pierce: I'm not sure. I know some of the staff were upset about your meeting with a taliban leader, particularly the idea of giving amnesty to terrorists.
Donovan: Sounds like you share their sentiments.
Pierce: A little, but I would never poison someone who comes here under a banner of truce.
Donovan: Sorry, I'm getting a little paranoid. Start questioning the kitchen staff, anyone who could have had access to Hekmetyar's lunch. Start with anyone who has expressed angry sentiment towards Hekmetyar.

At CTU George Mason comes to see Jamey Farrell.

Mason: The police just found your son.
Jamey: Is Kyle okay?
Mason: He's fine. Kyle says he was with a man named Ira. They showed him pictures of Ira Gaines, and he identified him. The problem is, Kyle doesn't even seem to think he was kidnapped. Gaines just picked him up from school, and he trusted him enough to go with him. I can't be sure, one way or another, if you're telling the truth, or if Navi Araz was.
Jamey: Has it ever occured to you that Navi wants to give CTU false intel?
Mason: Yes it does. If we find Gaines, we'll question him about it.

Behrooz makes it to the softball game. His orders are to detonate at 1pm, unless capture becomes likely. A young girl, Bella, is delivering a speech. She tells how her girlfriend's parents couldn't accept who she really was, and it drove her to suicide. Bella says she can only hope that things like this can prevent future suicides. Behrooz sees Brian, his former boyfriend. They begin talking. Behrooz wants to warn Brian to go away, before it's too late, but he can't do it. Seeing all these innocent people here, including the one he loves, Behrooz realizes he can't go through with this. There is a security guard here, the police know this kind of event often draws out the haters. Behrooz takes off his explosive vest and turns himself in to the security guard.
