When this technician's face turns pale, Gary has his answer. He remembered when he was in the army, there was a joke that if you ever see the bomb specialist's face turn pale, run. Gary wanted to run from the danger, but he and the other security guards knew that the had to get people away from this thing as quickly as possible. They begin the evacuation immediately.

Split screens show the various bombing sites, the panicked crowds as security desperately tries to maintain some kind of order. Paramedics rush to help the wounded, but for some it is already too late.

At Camp David the retreat is once again placed on lockdown. President Donovan knows what this meand, the terrorists have succeeded, and many americans have been killed. Aron Pierce escorts president Donovan to bunker.
