Sabzi contiues to watch news of the carnage he has caused. He had been reluctant to ally with these people, but it seems it had been worth it, hundreds of americans were dead.

At Camp David president Donovan has been escorted to the more secure bunker. Santos and general Douglas are briefing him on what they know of the bombings.

Donovan: How many dead?
Santos: They're still counting.
Donovan: I'll take a rough estimate.
Santos: Three hundred dead or wounded. Vice-president Brady is among the deceased. There were eight bombings, seven at baseball games, one at a movie theatre.
Douglas: Mr president, we need to consider retaliation.
Santos: Against who? We know that Sabzi and Dubaku were very likely involved, but we're still looking for them.
Douglas: We have a number of targets in Afghanistan, terrorist training camps.
Donovan: my understanding is that they're religious schools.
Douglas: They're training camps masquerading as religious schools.
Donovan: I want more intel before I decide on anything.
Douglas: And Sangala?
Donovan: We're trying to foster peace talks between president Deby and general Bashir. Bashir has isolated Dubaku. We will kill or capture Dubaku, but bombing some refugee camp will just give Dubaku's supporters more propoganda for recruitment drives. In the meantime I need to address the country within the hour, I'll need all intel I can get before then.
Santos: And these peace talks?
Donovan: Hekmetyar seems to be cooperating. We need to work together, God willing we can prevent more attacks in the future.

At CTU George Mason holds a staff meeting in his office with Curtis Manning, Mike Doyle, and Nina Myers.

Mason: There have been eight terrorist bombings, we don't yet know how many dead. One of the dead is vice-president Brady. I'm not going to suger-coat this, we failed. Still, we helped stop two bombings, we saved some lives. Hopefully that can help us all sleep better at night. Our objective is to now find anyone who was involved and bring them to justice. We know that Dubaku was in the U.S., Sabzi probably was as well. Let's find them and bring them to justice.

A young woman named Willow is talking to her parents on the phone. Given what just happenned they want to make sure their child is okay. Willow assures them she's fine, she was nowhere near any of the bombings. Willow then uses her smartphone to access the news, they're covering the bombing at Camden Yards. The reporter is saying that the casualties would have been much greater, had not a quick thiking security guard alerted the bomb squad. Willow sees this guard, Gary, in the background. She recognizes him, it's her former boyfriend. Willow is impressed, this man saved lived. Willow says "Good for you Gary."
