Author's Note: Hello, and woot-woot! This is a request for QMDisneyPokemon14, and also a one-shot from our list for the fanmade 22nd anniversary movie A Bug's Life 2. AS ALWAYS, favs and follows are accepted. Reviews are love. So, I hope you enjoy it. ^^
The moon was rising in the city of Bugdom. The bugs remain in their homes. The circus bugs: Manny, Gypsy and Ramona were asleep in their own home, Francis, Slim and Heimlich were asleep in their own home as well, and then, Tuck and Roll were also asleep in their den as well; finally, Dim, Rosie and Gina were asleep in their own home as well.
Gina was sleeping in her small bed with her pet cat mealybug named Kevin, who is purring while nuzzling her face. But all of a sudden, she was shaking tremblingly. Gina remembered what happened at school.
*~(Dream Flashback)~*
Gina was outside the office, wincing, as if to block these insulting words from the bullies, Jamie and Philip, with their parents. She also heard her father Dim and uncle King Flik screaming and yelling at her bullies' parents for hurting Gina and Princess Flika, who was with her father and uncle, in the office.
"Don't listen, don't listen... DON'T listen...!" she whispered fearfully.
"Circus freak!" A voice of Philip's mother shouted.
"Devil's child!" A voice of Jamie's father shouted as well.
"Ferocious little fool!" Philip's mother insisted angrily again.
"Buggy halfling!" Jamie's father yelled again.
"Monstrous female!" Philip's mother screamed.
"She doesn't belong!" Jamie's father scolded.
"Shut up...!" Gina cried out,
"I'm not bad!"
"Mommy! That is the circus freak's fault!" Philip wailed painfully.
"I want her OUT of my school, daddy!" Jamie cried painfully.
Gina squeaked frightfully as she felt a tear fall from her cheek.
*~(End of Dream Flashback)~*
"NOOOOO!" Gina lets out a scream. Kevin bursts awake and yowled in fear, jumping up from the bed, while he heard Gina whimpering. Tears are running down her face, and Gina managed to wipe them away. Panting heavily, she spots Kevin awake, hiding under her pillow, whimpering. Gina stared, and sighed. She pets Kevin, reassuring him. Then, slowly, he crept out of the pillow, and relaxed.
Relieved, Gina was still whimpering, and she tiptoed out of her room, and into the hallway. Just then, she heard snoring and moaning. Gina went into her parents' room, and spotted Rosie and Dim sleeping. She crept to their bedside. As Gina stared at her father, Dim was asleep and snoring. Then, she stared at her mother, while Rosie was also asleep and moaning. Whimpering softly, Gina crawled under Rosie's arm, and placed her mother's hand in her small hands.
Moaning sleepily, Rosie opened her eyelids and spotted Gina whimpering in her sleep next to her. As if to know that her daughter heard some creeping noises outside, and had a bad dream, Rosie smiled and smoothed Gina's hair, wings and back, and Gina stopped whimpering and surely calmed down. Finally, the black widow spider went back to sleep as she moaned, cuddling the rhinoceros beetle. Between snores, Dim sleepily stirred, and opened his eyelids, staring at Rosie and Gina sleeping cutely together. Returning the cuddle, he put his leg on Rosie's abdomen, put his foot on Gina's wings and beamed a smile, letting out a chuckle and drifting off to sleep.
Fin
