Hi! Again. Anyway, this is the second chapter of My memories, My time.

Hope you enjoy it! R&R!

My head spun, and all of a sudden I was at my desk, my newest invention, in front of me, and my time machine in hand. I took a deep breath in relief. I stood up, and stretched, my back popping. "Ouch" I muttered. I walked through the door of Jayfeather's room, and there he was, standing there, awake and whole. I almost cried in happiness. I went to hug him, and tripped over my own feet. I landed on my butt, my neck hitting Jayfeather's bed frame. It didn't hurt, I was too happy for that. I picked myself up and threw my arms around him. He looked really confused, and pushed me off. "What's with all the huggin'?" He grunted. I laughed. "Nothing. Just happy to see you. Wanna go to the movies tonight, with Half Moon and Ivypool?" He swiveled and faced his desk. I sighed, thinking that was a no, when he spun around again with a pile of money. Again I laughed. "No it's on me." I said. He shrugged. " Ok. Can we take your car? Mine smells of hotdogs again." I slapped him on the shoulder. "Sure thing."

Ivypool snuggled into me. "Why are you so warm and so comfortable all the time?" She murmured. I stroked her hair. She looked up at me, and kissed me. She looked down at her lap, and jumped, as the movie we were watching, Jurassic park, let out a loud ,long screech. I looked at her, startled. "Are you ok?" I asked. She shivered. "Fine." she answered. I grabbed my coat and put it around her. "Better?" She nodded. "Much."

Little did I know that that would be the last word she said to me.

I looked up at the screen as the ending credits came on. I stood, and shook Jayfeather, who had fallen asleep with Half moon across his chest. "Wha- Whas' going on?" He asked drowsily. I shook him again. "The movies are over. It's time to go" Jayfeather shook Half moon. She opened her eyes and blinked. She reached down and grabbed her bag. As we made our way out, I had the strangest feeling, almost like deja-vu. I shook it off. It was probably nothing. I unlocked my car from afar, and motioned for Jayfeather and Half moon to go ahead. I tossed the keys to half moon, and she expertly caught them. I shouldered Ivypool and she did it back. I grabbed her and spun her around, catching her in a fairytale way. I leaned down and kissed her, passionalitey. She slung her arms around me and our kiss deepened. Then I pulled her up on her feet, and kissed her again. She turned to me and flashed me one of her world famous smiles, but the ones for me were always special. They were full of love, and hope. I wanted that moment to last forever, when I heard the shot. Loud, and close, I almost thought it hit me. I raised my head just as Ivypool fell. I lurched forward, falling and landing hard on my knees. I caught her, and cradled her head in my arms. I took her hand in mine, and rubbed her fingers, hoping to feel some life and warmth. "Ivypool?" Her eyes fluttered open, and hope soared throughout me. She brought her hand to my cheek. I pressed it against my cheek. Her words were faint. "I love you, Foxleap." A smile played across her face, and she breathed out one last time, almost peaceful. Her blush and color faded, and her body became cold in my hands. Tears ran down my face. "Come back." I whispered sadly. "Please?" I wanted her to answer, and I waited for one. I vaguely heard a car door slamming, and someone calling my name. I think it was half moon. I felt someone remove Ivypool from my hands, but I sat still, utterly defeated. I could hear someone talking to me, but I wasn't listening. I stared at the ground. Why had she left me? What had I done to deserve this? I slammed my fist on the ground, feeling anger swerve through me. WHy was Starclan doing this to me? She hadn't deserved this. She was so young, and I loved her so much. Only one thing burned on my mind as I drove home. I was going to fix this. I was going to use the time machine again. I was going to save my girlfriend.

The first time I saw Ivypool, I was standing outside my dorm, trying to open it. She and her sister, Dovewing, walked by. "See?" Dovewing was saying. "There are guys here! And not bad looking ones either." I blushed, But Ivypool scoffed. "Really Dovewing? A nerd like him? Please." She laughed. But I was already thinking of ways to ask her on a date.

The third time I saw her, we were both onstage, having been in the top ten kids of the month. I caught her eye and smiled, and she gave me one of her famous smiles. The eleventh time I saw her, I finally asked her out. I bet you can imagine my surprise when she said yes. On our fifth date, I was amazed she was still going out with me, and I kissed her for the first time. It was my first time, and I think it was hers too. Those memories brought me back to the last time I saw her., when she caressed my cheek with her thumb and told me she loved me. Only now did I realize I loved her too.

I sat at my desk, as I had when Jayfeather had been put into a coma, and picked up the time machine. I turned it to the correct time and date, and sent a silent prayer to Starclan that they would be ok, for the third time. I braced myself for the trip, and pushed the red button.
