And lastly,

Cinderpool!

Thank you guys so much!

I stared at the time machine, before throwing it on my bed. Hopefully, hopefully, that was the last time I would have to use it. I threw myself back in my chair. Maybe if i left all my friends alone, they wouldn't die. Maybe. But what else was there to do? I didn't have any homework, and I didn't have school. No work, or shopping to do… no nothing, really. I signed. Well. I could… take Ivypool on a date? That would work. Then, if all my other friends didn't do anything dangerous, then I could focus on Ivypool, and score some alone time with my girlfriend. I peaked open Jayfeather's room. He was on his bed, dozing. "Going on a date with Ivypool, don't do anything stupid!" I called. I don't know if he answered, but I didn;t stick around to find out. Hopping into my truck, I drove over to the girls dorm rooms. I looked at the piece of paper I had taped to my rearview mirror, which had Ivypool's dorm number on it. Room 112. I walked up to it, Happy it was on the first floor. I knocked on the door, and almost right away Ivypool answered. She sighed in relief. "Finally. Someone to help me escape my psycho sister." I laughed. "Want to go to Red lobster?" She nodded happily. "Lemme grab my wallet." I grabbed her wrist. "No need. I'm paying." "Oh." she said, surprised. "Ok. Let me tell Dovewing. Be right back." She slipped into the house, and I waited for her. A minute later she appeared, a smile on her face. "Ready?" I asked. She nodded, and pulled me toward my car. "Slow down!" i laughed. She turned, still holding onto me, and grabbed my glasses. "Im blind!" I cried. "What if i run into a pole?" She laughed. "Good point." She slipped them back onto my face, and pulled me faster. She jumped into the car, and waited for me as I walked around the truck and hopped in. I slipped the keys into the ignition, and waited for it to start. Pulling out of the parking lot, I slipped my free hand into Ivypools. She grinned, and leaned over and kissed my cheek. Ivypool pulled her hand out of mine, and pushed it over to the steering wheel. "Driving," she said. " Not getting us killed." I gave her a sly smirk, and she laughed and punched me on the shoulder. Ivypool's face turned serius. "I was in the Dark Forest, last night, and you'll never guess who i saw." I sighed, rather dramatically. "I thought i told you to stay away from there?" Ivypool glared at me from her seat. "It's not like i have a choice. Anyway, i saw Icecloud." I gasped. "Icecloud? As in my sister, Icecloud?" She nodded. I gritted my teeth. "There's another meeting tonight. I'll try to get her out, with my status and all." Ivypool said. "She's going to be in so much trouble." I remarked.

I gave Ivypool one last kiss, before watching her enter the Dark Sector. I shook my head. How could Icecloud do this? She knew the dark Forest was bad. Youknow, so did everybody else. They must all be stupid. Well, no. Ivypool wasn't stupid. She was rather smart. And so was icecloud. So why were they there? Honestly, I didn't know. Pulling into the Thunderclan dorm parking lot, I pondered on this. The Dark Forest sent it recruits to kill people, so obviously everybody there knew it was a place of pain and death.. So did they like pain and death? Still heavily confused, I unlocked my dorm. Jayfeather was sitting on the couch in between out rooms, lounging, and listening to music. I pulled the headphones off his head. "Hey, what are you doing?" He retorted. "What did you do all day?" I said patiently. JAyfeather closed his eyes, thinking. "Sat on the couch." he answered. I rolled my eyes. "That's it?" Jayfeather thought about it for a moment more. He nodded. "Yep, that's all i did." I rolled my eyes again, and opened the door to my side, and flopped down on my bed, picking up my favorite book; The adventures of Huckleberry Finn. I'd read several times. Later, as I set down my book and marked it with a green bookmark, I felt a rush of relief. No deaths then a solemn knock echoed through the room. I groaned and made my way to the door. Ivypool stood there, bloody, with tears running down her face, dripping off her chin. I gathered her in my arms. "What's the matter?" I murmured into her hair. She let out a sob, and hiccuped. "It's Icecloud." I pushed her off me and held her so she was looking into my face. "What happened?" I whispered. Ivypool licked her lips, and looked up. "She's dead."

I sat at my desk, time machine in hand. Tears dripped down my face, landing in my lap. As I twisted the knob, unwelcome memories flooded in.

A year before I met fallen leaves, Icecloud had her first crush. She only told me, as she told me everything then. "He'll never notice me." she fretted. I rolled my eyes. "It's not like Toadstep is the holy grail." she glared at me. " Maybe not, but he's a boy!" she stated. "But he's a boy!" I mimicked. I rolled my eyes again. "I'm a boy. What's the difference?" Now it was her turn to roll her eyes. "You're an idiot." she sighed, and punched me in the arm. "But, I guess you're my idiot brother."

I opened my eyes, new years flooding my eyes. Another memory came.

It was the spring dance, and she and toadstep had been dating since freshman year. And yet, she was freaking out, that he wasn't going to take her.

That memory wasn't long, and despite my sadness I laughed. I stared down at the time machine. My finger hovered over the button. I took a deep breath, and pushed it once more.
