"Miss Hag! We have a problem! There's a male among us!" One of the teachers was talking to Miss Hag from in front of my hiding place. I was hiding in the storage closet, which hasn't been in use in centuries. I had enough time to grab my stuff, pack them and get out of the room before Cassandra and her friends notified the staff about my presence. I managed to get to the storage closet before they spotted me and locked it from inside.
I been hiding in here for a day or two, it's hard to keep track since I hid my pocket watch. Yet I heard the news about how Cassandra and her friends been treating Nicole, making everything of hers in half, even her door. I wish I could comfort her, but I already know she wants nothing to do with me.
"Yes, I know, Miss Vetid. Mr. Rancid is among us." Miss Hag said, annoyed by the news. "No, not him. We're talking about a male that is the same age as the students here! Not only that, but from the description of him, it seems like this is the Dimension child that has been missing." Miss Vetid said.
"He's here?! I wonder how he managed to get in here? Never mind that. This would get me on Enchantra's good side for sure when I bring him to her!" Miss Hag said as she walked by the storage closet, the joy radiating off her. I didn't care by this point. Given Nicole's reaction, I could say our friendship was now dead, thanks to my temper. At least I made a friend without help, I guess I should thank Salem for that before I leave.
Even if when I leave, I would soon be facing charges for three things. One, leaving Warlock Academy without permission. Two, using magic improperly. And three, coming to Witch Academy, pretending to be a female. I already know what type of punishment the Witches Council will give me.
The same one they gave to Salem, though that happened because he dared them. Except I would be different. They would turn me into a animal for possibly centuries. The most heartbreaking punishment, though, is knowing that I disappointed my parents, who've spent months worrying about me. They would think I've left because I couldn't handle the stress or something.
The worst thing, though? The worst thing is that Sabrina didn't even stood up for Nicole or even stand by my side as I exploded. She was just silently standing there, letting the events unfold despite the fact that she opened 'Pandora's Box'. I wonder what happened to her that caused her to think she needs to be popular like those girls, who believe that a magical being needs to be fully magical to reach their true potentials.
Maybe Salem did had a reason for bringing me here after all. Not that it matters now. Maybe I should give up. My gem amulet started glowing, though I didn't even care at all.
"What are you doing?" My brain asked me though for some reason, it didn't sound like my brain. "What does it look like I'm doing?" I snapped back. "You look like you're quitting. Don't give up." My brain said, still sounding unfamiliar, yet for some reason, it stirred up a memory I shouldn't have of the voice. "Why not? Sabrina isn't helping much, she just wants to be popular. Nicole doesn't want anything to do with me, not when she thinks I can't trust her with the truth. And once I get found by someone, I will be brought to the Witches Council and be found guilty." I said to my brain. Or what I thought was my brain.
"Well, if there's one thing I know about my 'nephew', it's that he isn't a quitter when the going gets tough." My 'brain' said and I looked up. I was shocked to see an illusion magic coming coming from a magic circle. A illusion of a person in a hoodie. The person who used to be alive and friend to my parents. "Brendaniels?" I said, not believing that this is possible. He shook his head. "Not really. I'm just a illusion made from your magic." He said, pointing at my chest, though he didn't seem to be telling the truth, but I ignore that at the moment. "But you called me 'nephew'." I pointed out.
"Yeah I did. It's because I'm a part of you and read your thoughts about your situation and know you need some comfort right now. That, and family friends gets dibs on uncles/aunts titles. Anyways, as I said, you're not a quitter. You usually find a way to fix messes, even if they're not yours." The hologram said. "Really, you think so?" I asked it. "I don't think so. I know so. So what are you going to do about this?" It asked with a smirk. "I'm going to fix this mess, starting with Nicole." I said with a broad smile on my face. "Good, I always like the way you smile." The illusion said before disappearing. I know it's not my uncle, but I felt like I got a motivation speech from him, though.
Of course, how do I fix the mess with Sabrina though? Why do I still get the feeling she's in danger? And why does it now include Nicole? I get the feeling that I could only save one of them, but not the other. Maybe if I make a deal with Madi... No, I won't make a deal with her. I promised Salem I won't seek her out and I keeping to my words. No way am I seeking the 'Devil' and asking her for a deal. In fact, I'm not making a deal with her, period.
Plus, being turned into a animal wouldn't be all bad. Sure, I might get those animalistic urges from time to time. And things might be awkward with my family, but if Salem can do it, then so could I. Well, time to take my punishment like a champ. Even if it might be awkward watching over my little siblings while being turned into a animal as punishment.
"Hi!" Madi said, coming from out of nowhere. So I gave the proper reaction. "Back, you foul she-demon!" I said, scrambling backwards away from her. Ladies and gentlemen, I'm supposed to be the 'Chosen One' for this story? And all just because I could read a book about the very person in front of me that no one else can, much less three of them. "There are worse thing than being a familiar like Salem over there." Madi said.
"Whatever you're selling, I ain't buying! So just leave or I'll pull up that one JonTron scene." I said to her, pulling out my phone and have it on YouTube. "What makes you think I won't use it on you?" Madi asked me with a smirk. "Easy, you're not exactly a saint or holy material." I said bluntly. "Then Drawn Together the movie it is." Madi said. "You wouldn't!" I said to her, pulling out my wand. "I just did." She said as she pulled it out. I then zapped it away. Let's hope that abomination is truly gone for now. "It isn't." Madi countered.
"What, do you read my mind?" I asked her. "No, but I can see bullshit a mile away." She said, quoting TeamFourStar's DBZ Abridged. It was ok at first, but took a dump after the Frieza arc. "Also, you're an open book. Sabrina's devoted friend who puts up with her shit for years." Madi said. "Oh, and you know my life, how?" I asked her.
"Because of this!" She said, holding two DVDs. On the covers were the words 'Sabrina The Animated Series' and 'Sabrina's Secret Life'. "And that's suppose to convince me, how? For all I know, those can be fakes just to trick me to make a deal with you." I said to her. "This is no trick, watch them for yourself if you want the truth." Madi said to me. "Yeah, no. I have less time to think of how to fix my problems so if you can just piss off and leave me to my business." I said to her, walking towards the door only to stop.
"Wait, I thought I was supposed to say your name three times to summon you, just like Beetlejuice?" I asked her. "That's just a parlor trick I did for Icy on her 12th birthday. Nearly gave her a heart attack that day." Madi said laughing. "I'm not going to ask how that is. What I'm going to do right now is fix my problems before they get worse." I told her. "They just did, Sabrina and Nicole left to find the Tree of Wisdom. More like tree of cleaning some cable guy's ass." Madi joked with a chuckle, like this was nothing at all. Or at least, it's nothing to her.
"Wait, but my vision. I saw myself with Sabrina and Nicole as Sabrina talked about going to the Witches' Realm. Oh Christ, don't tell me that's why she made that plan." I said. "Nicole made a mini deal with me to stop you at all cost. Guess this was the way to do it." Madi said. "What? When? Why?" I asked her. "Yes. Earlier. Because she's still sour about the stunt you pulled and knew you'd try to stop her from being a full witch. Ha! She'll be a full statue when all this is over." Madi said cheerfully.
"Not if I stop them." I said under my breath. "What are you going to do about it." Madi said with a smirk. If looks can kill, I could be dead a million times over. "You'll be surprised. Just watch me." I said. "Yes, watch as how you convince Sabrina to help out Harvey Beaks get over his self hatred on making a fucking stupid comic book. It's like asking the Joker (2019) to not be a comedian turned killer. It's not going to work." Madi said to me.
"Oh yeah?" I said to her. "Yeah, boy toy of Gem's." Madi said. "You don't even know me! How are you sure it won't work?" I pointed out. "Read your mind." She said, like it should be obvious. "Yeah, but sometimes you can't trust the thoughts of people, can you?" I challenged. "I forced the truth out of Salem. And nothing but the truth or his nine lives would be up 1 second later." Madi said. "Hey, this is between you and me! Don't drag others into this just to try and force me to make a deal with you!" I exclaimed.
"Tell that to Hilda." Madi said. "Oh yeah, sure. Just like I'll be telling Zelda that I read the book she wrote about you." I said, holding up the second book, the one that left me confused for a while. "Keep it away. KEEP IT AWAY!" Madi screeched out. I put the book back with a smirk. "I'll rip out that smirk, Shitface." Madi hissed at me.
"Then I'll just pull the book out again. Wanna tempt me?" I countered. "Wanna TEST ME!" Madi threatened, prepared to grab my throat but stopped for some reason, looking like she wants to but can't. "We could do this the nice way, or the hard way where Zelda knows what you're about to do. I have her on speed-dial." I said. "Hilda made sure Zelda could NEVER see me again. So unless you have something meaningful to say, I believe your name is already on this contract. So you're now mine, FUCKER!" Madi said, holding up the contract.
"Oh, no it isn't." I said, causing the 'Devil' to stop in her tracks. "WHAT!" She screamed in my face. "See, I'm supposed to make this deal willingly. And as you know, I still refuse to make the deal with you, no matter what you say or do. So, in the words of Willy Wonka himself, 'You lose. Good day sir.'" I said to her. "Yeah, I lied. Even if you don't, I could still put your name on it and you be mine for eternity. Never to see his siblings or parents ever again. So you lose, good day to you, sir." Madi mocked me with a chuckle similar to Ursula's.
"Leave my unborn siblings out of this." I said in a cold tone. "Never because you can't stop me. once mine, you can never harm me. But I can harm you and anyone you've ever known." Madi said. This is when I made the biggest mistake of my life. The reason why I even wrote this story in the first place.
"What if I made a deal with you?" I told her. "I'm listening." She said. "If I could find some way to stop Sabrina and Nicole, before they get to the tree, then I'm no longer bound to this deal, and you have to leave me and everyone else alone." I said. "... Deal." Madi said. "And if I'm were to fail, then I stick to this deal." I said. "Good boy. You learn faster than Ian and Anthony." Madi said. "However, there are some conditions if I were to be stuck to the deal." I said, not finished.
"What are they!" Madi said, annoyed. "One, if I were to go with you, you can't harm anyone I know. Ever. You can harm me though." I listed the first condition. "Fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine!" Madi complained. "Two, I have to finish my education, which means I have to go to school so no one is suspicious." I said. "School's overrated. But continue your list of demands." Madi said.
"Third is that you or someone who lives with you have to help me train and control my powers." I said. "Sinbad and Pearl can't do shit without supervision, and even then I can't promise they will help you. More like annoy you." Madi said. "I just need the basics down. Plus, what I meant is my Gem abilities. Everything else, I can try myself." I said. "In all 6000 years, Pearl never learned how to control her gem powers. Ever!" Madi said. "Well, maybe this would be a good chance for us to learn from each other. Anyways, those are my conditions." I said.
"Alright. But I can't guarantee Pearl will learn. More likely she'll give you a facehugger as a birthday present." Madi asked. "So, are we going to make this mini deal or not?" I asked, holding my hand out. "This ain't a mini deal. But yes!" Madi said as she grabbed my hand, shaking it. I felt like snakes were coiling along our hands, binding them together. "This will be fucking painful to you." Madi promised. And it was, oh it very was painful. For the next minute or two.
Soon the deal was made. "Ouch." I said, pulling my hand away from Madi. "The deal has been made." Madi said with a smirk. "Ok, I'm gonna go now and stop them. Bye." I said as I teleported away, taking my suitcase with me.
Madison Perspective
Madison: Finally. I have him.
?: But for how long till you get bored of him like everyone else you've made the same deal with.
Madison: Leave me alone, Ariel! Geez, you're more annoying than my parents!
