Behrooz drove to a secluded spot and Kim told him to stop. Kim had thought she would be able to shoot Behrooz when the time came, now she wasn't so sure.
.
Behrooz: Please don't kill me.
Kim: Why not. You killed children, maybe my husband.
Behrooz: I didn't. My father told me to blow myself up at a softball game, but I couldn't go through with it. I swear I turned myself in.
Kim: And your friends, the ones who blew up the little league game, did you tell CTU about them?
Behrooz: I didn't know what the other targets were, but I told CTU there were likely others.
Kim: When did you tell CTU this?
Behrooz: Earlier today, around 12:30.
Kim: So you didn't tell them before, when they could have actually had time to stop them.
Behrooz: I'm sorry, I was just scared of my father.

Gaines is parked near a local hospital. His sources tell him that CTU is guarding a wounded prisoner who, they hope, has some valuable intel for them. But his sources don't know for certain it's Dubaku, that intel is being closely guarded. Gaines sees his target, doctor Saulstein, get out of his car. Gaines approaches the good doctor.
.
Gaines: Doctor Saulstein?
Saulstein: Yes?
Gaines: I was hoping you could tell me my father's condition.
Saulstein: Who is your father.
.
Gaines simply walked up to Saulstein and revealed his gun. They spoke quietly now, didn't want to attract attention.
.
Gaines: Did they call you in here for Dubaku?
Saulstein: I was ordered to come here because CTU said they had a wounded patient, one who required my expertise. They never told me the patient's name.
Gaines: What did they say about the patient?
Saulstein: He's from Africa, mid-40s, cerebral hemorage.
Gaines: You're going to tell them that I'm your colleague. This man is no saint, help me eliminate him and you might actually live through this.
.
Burke finishes his conversation with Chapelle and then goes to see Mason.
.
Burke: Chapelle says I'm authorized touse enhanced interrogation on Adaeze.
Mason: She's already cooperating.
Burke: She's given us nothing useful.
Mason: Dubaku kept things on a need to know basis, for exactly this reason, torturing her won't help.
Burke: We will see.
.
Saulstein brings Gaines to the patient's room. It is indeed Dubaku. He's unconsciouss, but the machines indicate he's still alive. Gaines takes out his syringe, hopefully this will eliminate the threat and allow him to escape. But as soon as Gaines enters the room he hears a voice yelling for him to freeze. This is Mike Doyle, Gaines realizes that he and the other two men are CTU agents. Gaines surrenders. Maybe Hodges will have him killed, maybe not, either way he doesn't want to die immediately.
