Finally a new day. However, Marcy won't be shown off to the rest of the town until she isn't sick, well besides the vet.
While the newly christened sophomores knew the building somewhat, the new freshman seemed a lot more lost in the world. These freshman were Austin, Nicole, Brooke, Brian, Samuel G., Mia, Kaylee, Chase, Molly, Daniel, Isabella, who went by Bella, Sophia, Seth C., Jason, Seth B., Matthew, Cameron, Zoe, Samuel S., who went by Sammy, Jack, Briana, Jonathan, Milena, Sara, Devin, who was mentioned before in this story, and Avery. Avery, Kaylee, and Milena hadn't had their pubescent growth spurts yet, which left them between half a foot and a foot smaller than various members of the class. Jonathan, Sammy, Mia, and Molly were all new. Besides those 7, everyone else got into their existing small friend-circles from last year, Avery and Milena sitting next to each other in the back.
"Nice to not be the smallest for once." Bella told the duo, being 3'11" at the end of the summer, now 5'3". She still had trouble with the extra 14 inches. "Thanks for that!"
"You're welcome." Avery said snootily.
Bella scoffed, going to her seat. Brian then came in, out of breath.
"Sorry about that..." Brian said. "You know I can never make it here on time for the life of me."
"You actually made it here earlier than yesterday, so improvement I guess..." Mrs. Anderson, the one in charge of the freshman, didn't seem to like Brian, but at least he tried. He didn't like trying, but he often was rewarded for how much effort he'd put into something.
Brooke sat alone, finding everyone else too mean for the most part. They were nice enough to respect her wishes of isolation, as there were chairs for 30. Other classrooms had this many chairs, but most didn't set them all out like this. Brian sat in back, having no choice in the matter, next to Avery.
"You okay there?" Avery asked. "You're actually trying to be on time."
"Yeah." Brian joked. "Unbelievable. Tiring."
"I wish there was a way I could make him feel better..." Avery thought to herself. Brian asked to get a drink of water, asking Avery to help him along due to his physical weakness. Avery accepted this, taking him to the rather distant water fountain. There was one closer, but it was down for quick repairs today.
"Oh..." Avery responded. "Poor thing..."
Brian struggled to keep awake. He slept a lot, but just could never get any energy it seemed.
"Anything we can do?" Milena asked.
"Not really..." Brian replied. "Just can't hold energy."
Avery felt kind of bad for Brian. He wasn't mean, just incredibly slothful and tired. If there only was a way to get more energy into his system. However, once they had both gotten a drink of water, not noticing the ever so slight discoloration, they both felt rather strange.
"That really seemed to help..." Brian said. "I don't know why though..."
"Well should we head back?" Avery asked, not noticing the fluff on her wrist. Brian did though.
"Not yet..." Brian said, trying to stall, not knowing what to do. 'I forgot a thing in the locker room yesterday, can we go get that?"
"Sure!" Avery responded, helping Brian along, not noticing his own fluff beginning to form, or the slight shrinking he had gone under.
The duo went down, Avery's fluffy wrist developing into a much slimmer and smaller hand. The arm above also began to become more effeminate.
"My back hurts..." Avery commented.
"Really?" Brian asked, not noticing the dusting of white fur on his body. "Why?"
"I don't know..." Avery replied. Brian seemed worried.
"Well..." Brian noted, thinking about saying what he saw. He decided against it. "Let's just go."
Avery walked Brian to the locker room, before coming to a stop. A small tail began to poke out of Avery's rear, Brian noticing his clothes were now slightly baggy. Avery brought up Brian's slightly different physical look. Brian seemed scared by it, tugging on the forming tail Avery had. Avery scampered off, hiding in a stall. Brian rushed after, tripping over his shoes as he shrunk, growing a more solid layer of fur. As it turned out, Brian's physical shrinking wasn't as bad as the growing Avery had encountered, the two at this point essentially swapping heights. Brian's new tail began to peak out, as his transformation sped up a bit. Legs turned into paws, same with hands. Yellow spots of fur developed on his cheeks. Unlike Avery, who was crying out from the formation of their muzzle, not that Brian could see, Brian's nose merely shrunk to a black dot, similar to one you might see on a muzzle, but without the mouth feature. Brian had a mouth similar to his human self, but now with much longer teeth in the front, similar to the squirrel he was becoming. Unlike its real world counterpart, however, the Pachirisu he was becoming had a static tooth length, those two just being longer than the rest, sticking out sometimes. Brian's eyes began to grow relative to his head, irises and pupils becoming out of proportion to the eye size itself, leaving large anime-esque crystal-blue eyes once done. Brian's ears pointing up and drifting to the top of his head was the last thing that happened. The Pachirisu, now not even 2 feet tall, crawled out of his former human shirt.
"Avery?" Brian asked, voice now really squeaky and cute. Avery remained mute due to their own transformation, as speaking may give away more than what they would've wanted. Brian decided to wander towards where Avery hid, forgetting that he was tiny and just went under the stall door. Noticing yellow paws, Brian looked up, Avery already startled from the squirrel's presence. Staring back at him was a Fennekin anthro, and a female one at that. Her thighs seemed as large as her very small torso, with very dainty arms to match. What was the most notable about the new anthro, however, was the well-endowed chest, mammaries at least the size of himself. To contrast the heavily exaggerated body, the anthro's head was cute as a button, black dot like nose their actual existing muzzle, though much bigger than Brian's. The anthro had fangs too, also able to stick out very easily. More human eyes, this time a color matching the end of her tail, or the tufts on her ears, were there. Her ears were also quite big, each one about the size of the rest of the head. The head was also incredibly round, only interrupted by tufts of white fur on the cheeks. Her tail grew to go up to her shoulder blades if held up like Brian's was presently. While proportionate to her body, her neck seemed rather small as well. The two started at each other for a few moments, until someone else came in.
"You two in here?" The voice asked. It was Devin, sent to see if the duo was okay.
"Is that you Avery?" Brian asked again, quietly. The Fennekin nodded, sniffling. Brian hugged her ankle, trying to comfort her. Devin wandered about the locker room, before hearing a whimpering noise.
"That you?" Devin asked.
Brian tried shutting the anthro up, but it failed. Devin looked under the stalls, to see if anyone was in them. He noticed the yellow paws, and the squirrel hugging them, both crying a bit. He noted the clothes by the stall.
"Okay..." Devin said. "What's going on in there..." Devin suspected the two were doing it or something.
Brian and Avery both muttered curse words to themselves. "It's nothing!" The squeaky squirrel voice of Brian said.
Devin asked to see what was going on in there.
"You want to?" Brian asked Avery. Avery decided to unlock the stall, setting Brian in her lap to cover her unmentionables as she covered up her chest. Devin came in, noticing what the two had done. He blushed heavily. This caused Avery to blush back. Brian felt more awkward than anything else.
"Hi..." Brian replied.
"Wha-" Devin replied. "Wha-wha-a-at is going on?" He said with a stutter on both the wh and the a sounds.
Avery didn't say anything. Brian said that he had no idea what had happened.
"Wh-what happened?" Devin asked. "What do you mean?"
"I'm a Pachirisu for Arceus's sake!" Brian yelled. "And i'm being used as a Arceus-damn censor bar!" He seemed shocked at the sudden burst of energy. Normally he didn't get that headed. But then again, he wasn't normally used as a censor bar.
"Well..." Devin said, having been startled by the noise the small creature could generate. "Just wondering, you haven't seen Brian and Avery have you?"
"Well you found me." Brian responded. "This is what I get for trying to help her... Avery you suck."
Avery got all mad, letting out a bit of actual steam at the squirrel. Brian scampered off, Avery quickly covering up the newly exposed bits. Devin put one of the discarded articles of clothing on Avery's lap.
"Well then..." Devin replied. "Shall we take you two to the nurse?"
"I'm okay..." Brain replied. "Just... tiny."
"Well we're bound to find someone who can help with that." Devin said. "I know some people who might be able to go down the rabbit hole some socially."
"Hm..." Avery replied. "Think I'll even be able to walk with this figure?"
"Probably." Devin replied. "Your breasts aren't weighing you down at all, and you're already sitting upright."
Avery tried standing, fully exposing herself to her classmate. He quickly tied up the shirt into a makeshift pair of underwear, taking the socks and some gauze tape to cover up the nipples.
"Someone's bound to have better clothes for you soon.' Devin replied, still bright red. "Don't worry."
About 15 minutes later
Devin had dropped off Avery and Brian, having gone back to the classroom, saying that they were sick. They weren't sick but who was going to believe they transformed?
Back at the nurse's office, the school nurse had just finished examining Brian.
"I don't know what to say." The nurse replied. "You're a perfectly healthy Pokemon."
"Yeah..." Brian replied. "But I'm a Pokemon."
"I know." The nurse replied. "I don't know how I'm supposed to do anything about that."
"What about me?" Avery asked, now in a hospital gown, since the nurse happened to have one lying about.
"Well..." The nurse replied. "I wouldn't call you in any shape to return to class. Brian, however, might be able to if he so wishes."
Brian thought about it for a moment. "I just don't know. One one hand, well paw now, but one one paw, I'm tiny, but on the other, I'm so energetic now..."
The nurse smiled. "Well it did do something good then."
Brian had a bit of a laugh. "I guess it did."
"Well..." Avery spoke up. "I guess I'm gonna need a new name."
"Whatcha thinking?" Brian asked.
"Elicorde?" Avery asked.
"It's your name." Brian replied. "Weird though."
"You can call me Ellie." Avery replied.
"Nickname. Good." Brian replied.
"Well what can I do?" Avery asked.
"I'll call your parents. I'm sure Rhonda will understand." The nurse answered.
"Mom?" Elicorde asked. "Well..."
"You don't think she'll like you?" The nurse asked. Avery shook her head.
"I'm a freak." Elicorde replied. "Look at me..."
"I doubt your Mom is gonna mind." The nurse replied. "I babysat your eldest brother right out of medical school. She doesn't mind things."
"But this is different..." Elicorde replied.
"We'll just wait and see." The nurse replied.
After about 30 minutes, Rhonda, her mother, showed up, looking at the anthro before her.
"I heard what happened sweetie." She replied. "You okay?"
"I think I'm fine..." Elicorde replied, curling up a bit.
"Oh don't be scared..." Rhonda said.
The girl formerly known as Avery cried. Her mother hugged her. They stayed like this for a few moments.
"Let's go home, get you into something better." Rhonda noted. The two walked out of the office, Avery getting a bit of help walking outside, but they went home. They still had today, even if tomorrow was going to be a problem.
A/N: Next time we'll go over Brian, maybe some other school things as well.
