Still the same day. Yet again, Marcy won't be shown off to the rest of the town until she isn't sick, well besides the vet.
Avery, or as she was known now, Elicorde, had arrived back home with her mother, Rhonda. The mother quickly ran the Fennekin to her room, locking the door, as to prevent those who were still male in the house from seeing her just barely covered up. Rhonda feared this might strain the relationship she was in with her boyfriend of 18 months, Jared. The two of them looked through Rhonda's closet, her recent weight loss, going from 450 pounds when she met Jared to 275 now. She had still kept her old clothes, as she had never bothered to sell them, though she had been getting to that. While Elicorde could not fit in her old pants, the size of her old tops and bras meant that, while mildly off-fit and a bit long, Elicorde now had things to wear over her bust. Pants would be another story, as Rhonda's current pants were too small for the wide hips of the fennekin, but her older pairs were simply too long.
"T-thanks mom..." Elicorde said quietly.
"You're welcome sweetie." Rhonda replied.
Elicorde began to break down some, sobbing.
"Oh..." Rhonda said, giving the transformation victim a hug. "What's wrong?"
"What do you think?!" Elicorrde replied. "I'm a sexy pokemon..."
"Well you are, but you'll get used to it, right?" Rhonda asked. "I'm a woman and I handle it fine."
"But have you seen the size of me?!" Elicorde replied, still angered and sad. "People are gonna grope me, or worse..."
Rhonda sighed. She really didn't know how to respond to that. Elicorde began crying, now more scared than she was angry, curling up on the ground.
"Just..." Rhonda said. "Calm down... You're safe with me." Rhonda sat down to be on the floor with her new daughter. Elicorde hugged her mother. Rhonda hugged back.
A knock on the door was heard, sending the Fennekin into a panic. "Hey honey?" Jared asked.
"Calm down sweetie..." Rhonda whispered, before yelling to respond to her boyfriend. "What is it?"
"I heard you went to see Avery." Jared said. "Is he okay?"
"Sh..' Rhonda said, before realizing Jared didn't know of Elicorde's form. "He's a bit upset, but I'm calming him down."
"Well..." Jared said. "Tell them I love them. Would they like something to eat?"
"What about that pasta you made that one time?" Rhonda asked. "They really liked that, and they're nodding at me now."
"Well fine, some nice fancy pasta for my emotionally damaged son." Jared said, beginning to cook.
While Jared was cooking, Elicorde began to smell it with her new sensitive nose, commenting about that.
"Yes." Rhonda replied. "Pokemon of your nature have that."
"Wait." Elicorde said, scared. "What's my little bro gonna think?"
"Oh, Thomas will be fine with it." Rhonda said.
"But what if he's a little too fine about it?" Elicorde asked.
"I'll make sure things will go okay." Rhonda said. 'Trust me."
"I want to..." Elicorde responded, the smell of the dish at hand calming her down some. "But..."
"I know things are scary right now..." Rhonda said, giving the Fennekin a kiss on the top of their head. "But I still love you, and chances are Jared will too. He loves you now after all."
"You think so?" Elicorde asked. Rhonda nodded.
"Well, what should we do in the meantime?" Elicorde asked. Rhonda shrugged, offering to watch some TV on her little television in her room. It was an old tube model, but one of the last of the tube models, so not that old. It worked fine, and had a Nintendo Wii hooked up to it. Elicorde asked if they could play something together, noticing the console.
"Sure!" Rhonda said, going to see what games she had for the system. Elicorde started it up from the Wii remote, Rhonda having turned the television on while she was up by it. Elicorde noticed the large amount of Virtual Console and Wiiware titles from the Wii Shop.
"What are all these?" Elicorde asked.
"I spent a bunch of money after hearing it'd be closing." Rhonda replied. "It's not for like a year, but still."
"Ah." Elicorde said. "How about Mario Kart then?" Rhonda had that, putting it in. Rhonda had only played to unlock all the tracks, and establish a time trial in each one, so there had been two more characters unlocked. Elicorde's tail wiggled, excited to be playing a game with her mother, who didn't seem to mind her form.
"Hey mom?" Elicorde asked.
"Yes sweetie?" Rhonda replied.
"You're gonna teach me how to be a girl, right?" Elicorde asked.
Rhonda nodded. "Not right this second though, you've got things to do."
"What things?" Elicorde asked.
"Well this game, lunch, getting used to being a Pokemon..." Rhonda replied. "But I promise I'll teach you, okay?"
Elicorde smiled. "Thanks mom..."
"You're welcome sweetie." Rhonda replied.
The two began to play Mario Kart to pass the time, Rhonda having set up the VS mode to just play one cup's worth of tracks at a time. Elicorde finding herself quite decent at it, managing to come in second overall in the four races they played, the races of the Shell Cup, Rhonda ending up in fourth. A computer which played as Toad had won. As they had went to start the next cup, planning to do the Mushroom Cup, Jared yelled for them, as lunch had been made.
Rhonda opened the door, Elicorde shyly following. Upon arriving to the dining room, Elicorde stopped short of entering, Rhonda further promising it was going to be fine. Elicorde peeked her head out, then hiding back behind the wall upon seeing Jared.
"What was that?" Jared asked.
Rhonda took a deep breath. "That's Avery, something happened and now they're that."
"I picked out a new name." Elicorde replied, introducing herself as Elicorde.
"Mind if I call you Ellie?" Jared asked. Elicorde reluctantly accepted.
"But uh..." Jared said. "The food's done, If you want to sit down."
Elicorde did so, shyly revealing her voluptuous figure to her 'dad'. Jared turned around with the pan of noodles, nearly dropping it upon seeing the child.
Elicorde blushed, whimpering a small bit.
"I can see why you're shy about it..." Jared said. "You're huge..."
Elicorde nodded, simply sitting down to eat the pasta, breasts getting a bit in the way.
Rhonda noticed, but didn't offer to help, as her thoughts were that Elicorde would have to get used to this on her own. Rhonda, however, did clean up after the Fennekin, whose handpaws made it harder to eat as opposed to her old human hands, especially giving how dainty they were. Elicorde seemed sad about this. Rhonda smiled at them. Jared decided to leave the room for a second to recollect his thoughts.
"Wait..." Elicorde said, worried. "Can people catch me?"
"What do you mean?" Rhonda asked.
"I'm a pokemon after all..." Elicorde replied.
"Hm..." Rhonda asked. "Maybe we should just take you to the Pokemon Center then..."
"Oh..." Elicorde said. "Okay then..."
"Well you can finish eating first." Rhonda said. Elicorde nodded, resuming eating her pasta, Rhonda resuming cleaning up after her.
Eventually, Elicorde finished eating her pasta, and the two were off to the Pokemon Center to see what they could figure of the anthro.
Another problem then reared its face. Just like her handpaws, Elicorde's feetpaws were also extremely dainty and small, no longer able to fit in her own shoes. Rhonda said she'd do what she can, but that Elicorde would have to walk barefoot for now. She didn't really like that, but understood that's just what had to be done for now.
About 20 minutes later...
The duo had finally arrived at the Pokemon Center, the nurse noticeably shocked by the Fennekin. This made Elicorde become more shy.
"H-how may I help you?" The nurse asked.
"You see..." Rhonda said. "My child has been transformed, and I wanted to see if they could be captured in a safe environment.
"Some anthros can't, but some can, from what I've heard." The nurse replied. "So it's probably good that you're checking in like this."
The three went into a private room, the nurse placing her Audino in charge.
The nurse had grabbed a Pokeball before entering, telling Elicorde that it would be okay if she was captured, and that her mother would be considered her trainer if it worked.
Elicorde braced for impact as the nurse lightly lobbed the Pokeball. The Fennekin ended up caught in the Pokeball, and was quickly actually captured due to the fact that they had no idea of how to get out of said Pokeball. The nurse quickly spat the Fennekin back out out of the ball, them seemingly dazed.
"That wasn't too bad was it?" The nurse asked.
"I just don't know..." Elicorde replied. "It was a lot.."
"Well now you're safe." The nurse replied. "Would you like a collar or anything?"
Elicorde glanced at the nurse semi-angrily, which the nurse took as a no. Rhonda wanted one just to be safe, which Elicorde didn't quite like, but understood.
The two went out, Elicorde still a bit dazed from the Pokeball capture.
"You want to go anywhere else?" Rhonda asked. Elicorde seemed disinterested, kinda just wanting to lay down and relax as best she could. Rhonda seemed to understand the two starting on their way back.
"Oh Arceus." Elicorde said. "What are the people at school gonna do to me..."
"You can stay home a few days if you want." Rhonda said. "Get used to yourself. If you seem vulnerable people are gonna take advantage of it."
Elicorde smiled.
"Plus you could always just be a pet if you want." Rhonda replied. Elicorde didn't like being considered just a pet, though maybe a little bit of petplay wouldn't hurt.
The two soon arrived back home, Jared forgetting for a second that he now had a daughter, causing both him and Elicorde to blush. Elicorde decided to simply go back to her room, laying down in her bed, now slightly too small. She vocalized this issue to her mother, who said she would buy one once she got paid again. Elicorde seemed happy with that response, holding the collar that was given to her mother for her, clinking the tags together as a way to fidget some.
"I guess its not the end of the world..." Elicorde said to herself. "Maybe I could use this fire stuff for a useful thing too..." She looked up at the ceiling, wondering what life would bring her next.
