While paramedics try to save Jonas Hodges, George Mason is again on the phone with Chapelle.

.

Chapelle: So you're saying that your best lead is going to die in your custody?

Mason: The medics are doing all they can. We tried to use sodium penathol, but it seems he's allergic.

Chapelle: Who else did this?

Mason: I authorized this, I take responsibility.

Chapelle: And you will regret it, so will whatever agent actually administered this. Did you at least get anything useful from him?

Mason: I'm afraid not.

.

As this conversation ended Milo came to Mason with possible intel.

.

Milo: When Doyle asked Hodges who else was involved, he said Diana White.

Mason: I thought Hodges was delirious and just wanted a prostitute.

Milo: Maybe not. Diana had a daughter, Jane, who was involved in the Peace Corps. They were doing relief work in Afghanistan, when insurgents kidnapped a number of them. The terrorists raped Jane, cut off her head, and broadcast it over the internet.

Mason: So you think that Diana White joined Hodges' conspiracy because she wanted revenge for the death of her child?

Milo: It's possible.

Mason: It certainly is. Start looking closer into her finances, I'm going to question Gaines again.

.

Mason went to see Ira Gaines again in the interrogation room.

.

Mason: Do you know DIana White?

Gaines: A little. I saw her talking to Hodges a few times. But given what she does for a living I just assumed it was about pleasure, and I guess that qualifies as business.

Mason: We now think she might be involved in his conspiracy. We need you to tell us all about Hodges' associates, even those you don't think were involved.

Reporters from Al-Jazeera arrive at Camp David. Hekmetyar prepares to make his statement for the world to denounce the attacks of earlier today. Some are nervous about what exactly he will say, president Donovan's translator will be listening very carefully.

.

At the hospital Nina Myers sits in the hospital lobby. The sad irony of this day is that, with so many people injured, so many loved ones waiting for news, Nina Myers can just blend in. She carefully watches as Willow convinces the nurse to tell her about Kristen's condition. The nurse finally consents, but it's too soon to tell whether Kristen will survive. It becomes clear to Nina that Adaeze won't leave here until she finds out about her friend. So unless Mason puts her on a different assignment Nina will just have to sit and wait here.

Sabzi waits in his safehouse, with his few remaining followers. After he heard about the explosion at the port of Baltimore, Sabzi no longer trusts Gaines' exit plan. Still, they have struck a blow against America, if he has to die for that so be it. Then Sabzi recieves a call. He wonders, who would even have this number? But his curiousity gets the better of him, and he answers.

.

Sabzi: Who is this?

Mandy: An old friend.

Sabzi: Mandy? Your friend Gaines killed Dubaku, they are trying to kill me.

Mandy: You knew the risks when you agreed to help.

Sabzi: I am not afraid to die, but I will not throw my life away.

Mandy: I might be able to help with that.

Sabzi: I'm listening.

Mandy: How'd you like to strike one last blow against America, and kill both president Donovan and your old friend Hekmatyar.

Sabzi: How do I know I can trust you now?

Mandy: You don't. But honestly, you're not going to survive the day. This is your best chance to die a martyr.

Sabzi: Very well, what is your plan?
