George Mason is briefing president Donovan on their progress.

.

Mason: We have Diana White in custody but she's lawyered up. Truth is we've found no evidence of her involvement.

Donovan: What about this girl, Adaeze?

Mason: We've offered her full immunity and protection in exchange for her cooperation. She was ordered by Sabzi to steal x-ray equipment from a hospital. It's possible that he's planning to use the radioactive material on a bomb.

Donovan: Would he really be able to make a nuclear bomb with such little material?

Mason: Yes. It wouldn't cause nearly as much damage as he wants, but a lot more americans would die. We're trying to set a trap for him now.

Donovan: Keep me uprised.

Mason: Ofcourse mr president.

.

Donovan went back to his meeting with Hekmetyar. The thought of Sabzi's terrorists using a nuclear bomb was ofcourse at the front of his mind, but there was little else he could do. All he could do was try to negotiate this peace so that future attacks could be prevented.

.

Curtis continues to interrogate Diana White, but so far she hasn't admitted to anything illegal, even claiming that her escort service doesn't meet the legal definition of prostitution. Milo is looking for any money trail that could prove her involvement, hopefully he'll have better luck.

.

A guard comes to see Audrey Raines in her holding cell.

.

Guard: You're being transferred to prison soon. Your cooperation will be remembered, but you will face charges.

Audrey: I understand. Can I have a chance to say goodbye to Jack Bauer first?

Guard: I'm afraid that's not possible. Mason fears what you two could plot together.

.

Audrey couldn't blame Mason, not after what she and Jack had done. It was unlikely that they'd ever see each other again, except when they were on trial. Whether they were executed or sentanced to life in prison, Jack and Audrey would never be together again.

.

Sabzi calls Adeaze. Nina Myers has told her what to say, and CTU is listening in.

.

Sabzi: Are you able to obtain an x-ray machine?

Adaeze: Not directly.

Sabzi: What does that mean?

Adaeze: The hospitals are overwhelmed from the bombings, I heard they're even bringing in more x-ray equipment here. It might be easier to steal it on route.

Sabzi: It sounds like you're just trying to avoid being caught.

Adaeze: Ofcourse I don't want to get caught, I don't want to go back to prison. But stealing a machine before it's delivered will mean it's less secure.

Sabzi: What you are saying might be true, tell me what you know about this.

.

Adaeze tells Sabzi what she's suppossed to. Even if Sabzi believes her, there is no guarantee that he'll come himself. But it's still their best chance to bring this terrorist leader to justice.
