Chapter 18: The Stolen Scroll, the Runaway, and the Passing Through Rider
Kiriya and his students were in the training way as the shinobi teacher was giving them rigorous training.
Kiriya is seen throwing several kunai at Ikaruga and she manages to deflect most of them with her sword but one gets past her as it stabs into the wall behind her.
"What good is it if you don't deflect all of them?!" Kiriya told her and Ikaruga gritted her teeth.
Katsuragi is surrounded by bladed rolling dummies around before they begin to spin more faster, and Katsuragi stands on her hands and kicks at the dummies to destroy them.
"You're leaving too much distance!" Kiriya told her.
"Right!" Katsuragi said.
Asuka dodges several incoming projectiles by jumping in the air and grabs onto a wooden pole hanging above and spins on it to dodge more projectiles that were heading towards her. Asuka then jumps on a wall to dodge another group of incoming shurikens as they stab into the wall she was on. As Asuka fell to the floor three large shurikens were heading towards him, which surprised her before she tripped the moment her feet touched the ground as the shurikens avoided her as she was lying on the floor.
"Your actions are too repetitive! I can tell what your next move is!" Kiriya told her as he pointed at her.
"H-Hai!" Asuka said as she sat up.
Kiriya throws several kunai at Hibari which frightens as she cries out in fear before Yagyu protects her as she uses her umbrella as a shield to block the kunai as they stab onto it.
"Hey, Yagyu!" Kiriya said.
"I'm the one to blame. Yagyu-chan was…" Hibari said.
"Stop, Hibari." Yagyu told her.
"B-But…" Hibari mutters.
"Yagyu, if you think you're doing Hibari a favor, you're greatly mistaken!" Kiriya tells her, and Yagyu looks down as she knows that he's right.
Watching from the sidelines was Yuuma and Ankh as the Greeed was enjoying a popsicle.
"Man that old man is really going at it." Ankh said.
"I'm not so sure about that." Yuuma said and Ankh turns to him.
"What do you mean by that?" Ankh asked.
"It could be just me, but I think Kiriya-san is acting strange lately." Yuuma said as he watched him train the girls.
"Alright," Kiriya said as he placed a hand on his hip. "That's all for today. You two, stay behind for some supplemental training." He told the pair of first years.
"Eh?" Hibari said in sadness.
Kiriya then does a hand seal and creates a smoke cloud explosion, which causes everyone in the room to cough as they fan the smoke away.
"Again with the smoke? Can't he just leave the normal way?" Ankh complained and Yuuma eyed on him.
"Yeah, says the monster arm who possessed a human body." Yuuma mutters.
"Supplemental training? I feel sorry for them." Asuka said.
"Kiriya-sensei has been really strict lately." Katsuragi said.
"Yeah, I notice it too. But he didn't have to be that strict towards Hibari-chan." Yuuma said.
"Hibari-san is a shinobi. She can't keep on counting on Yagyu-san to cover for her forever." Ikaruga stated as they watch Hibari apologizing to Yagyu for getting them into supplemental training.
"I guess that's true, but still…" Yuuma mutters as he rubs the back of his neck.
Kiriya had entered his office via a hidden door on the floor as he was seated in a lotus position. Kiriya opened his eyes as he saw Daidoji's cat as it was waiting for him.
"That was some fairly good and spirited training." Daidoji told him.
"You were watching?" Kiriya asked as he turned to the legendary senpai as she was standing beside him as they looked at each other.
"Those five may all have different attributes, but depending on their training, their talents are outstanding." Daidoji said.
"It's because headquarters worked so hard in recruiting those fine candidates for us. I wondered what would happen without you guys around…" Kiriya said with a smile.
"Those who have the markings of a true shinobi are rare. Without talent...It's out of our hands." Daidoji said, and Kiriya sighed as he rubbed on his head.
"Well, it was awfully hard for us at first." Kiriya said, and Daidoji smiled.
Kiriya then remembers the times his students had joined his class one at a time.
First it was Ikaruga and Katsuragi together, and the two didn't get along at first and Katsuragi, and two formed a one sided rivalry as Katsuragi tried her best to annoy her but over time and after that one incident the two became good friends.
Then Asuka joined their class, first they were surprised to find out that she was the granddaughter of the legendary shinobi Hanzo. During that time they had high expectations for Asuka, but that quickly changed to disappointment as they saw how clumsy and had a hard time catching up to them during their training, but after seeing the hidden talent she has and seeing the hard worker she is they become close friends.
Then Hibari and Yagyu join their class, at first Asuka enjoyed the thought of being an upperclassmen to them, but then saw they Yagyu's extraordinary talents during their training sessions while a little dumbfounded on how Hibari runs away to avoid incoming shurikens. Also in those times, Yagyu would often annoy Ikaruga as she often told her that rank means nothing to her.
"Even Yagyu, who had been a problem child, appears to be fitting in better with the others lately." Kiriya said as he and Daidoji were in the main as he smiled as he reminisced. "Well, if I'm going to say 'problem child', that could go for all of them. Daidoji, that includes you."
"Hmph." Daidoji said as she smiled as well. "Teacher, you know better than anyone the reason why I haven't graduated."
(Flashback)
Daidoji is seen sparring against Rin in the mountains, Daidoji dodges a punch from Rin and kicks at her, but she easily blocks it and pushes Daidoji's leg away before she thrust her hand forward which sends a pulse wave that sends Daidoji flying before she falls to the ground.
Daidoji sits up as she pants as Rin walks to her.
"You still have a way to go, Daidoji-san." Rin told her friend, classmate, and rival.
"I have to at least score one point before you graduate, Rin-senpai." Daidoji told her.
"Well, good luck. I'll be counting on it." Rin told her as she offered her hand.
Daidoji smiles as she grabs onto Rin's hand as they smile at each other.
"I won't be holding back, either." Rin told her.
"Of course!" Daidoji said with a smile.
(End of flashback)
Daidoji frowns as she remembers that memory.
"However, before I could graduate, she…" Daidoji said as she imagined Rin's supposed death.
Kiriya lowered his head as he was sad as well.
"The mission was a difficult one. I was against it." Kiriya said as he remembers the day before Rin's death.
(Flashback)
Kiriya and Rin were seen standing in his office of Hanzo Academy, as Rin was arguing with her teacher.
"Kiriya-sensei, you're the one who said that it was an important mission for the state, right? And that it was something I could take on?" Rin asked.
"But you have just barely graduated. This mission is dangerous." Kiriya told her.
"I'll do it! I'm going to be a super-ninja!" She told him, and Kiriya looked at his prized student in some worry.
(End of flashback)
"At the time...I should have stopped her, even if by force." Kiriya said in sadness in his voice.
"And as a result, my graduation has been postponed indefinitely." Daidoji said in some sadness as well.
"This is no simple struggle with evil ninjas." Kiriya said.
"I will settle this." Daidoji said.
"It's up to me to save her." Kiriya said as he remembers Rin's smiling face. Daidoji smiles as well.
"My graduation...as well as...the end of my journey may be close at hand." Daidoji said before she and her cat disappeared in a flash of light.
(Meanwhile)
In their supplemental training, Hibari and Yagyu were seen climbing up a rope hanging on top of a mountain before they stopped in mid way as Hibari spoke to her fellow first year and friend.
"Yagyu-chan, I'm sorry. This is my fault again." Hibari told her.
"I should be apologizing." Yagyu stated.
"Huh?" Hibari said in confusion.
Yagyu then remembers both Kiriya and Yuuma's words to her.
"Yagyu, if you think you're doing Hibari a favor, you're greatly mistaken!"
"You really are a good girl, Yagyu-chan. But you should know that Hibari-chan can't ever replace your sister. Just like how you can't replace your childhood pet with a popular doll, right?"
"Yagyu-chan…" Hibari mutters.
"I'm done. I'm leaving now." Yagyu said as she slid down the rope.
"Huh? Ah, mm-hmm." Hibari said as she watched her leave.
In Hebijo Academy, Suzune is seen kneeling in front of Dogen as they spoke to each other.
"So, you ignored me, the commander, and gave instructions to Haruka?" Suzune asked.
"Seizing the good ninjas' super-secret ninja art scroll is the most crucial mission." Dogen told her.
"The super-secret ninja art scroll is meaningless without its chosen one, so we allow a Hanzo Academy student to develop as the chosen one, and thereafter, we turn them to our side. That is the best strategy." Suzune told him.
"We could always train a chosen one ourselves, after we've taken it." Dogen told her.
"The chosen one for our own scroll has yet to come forward. Besides, what are you going to do if Poseidon found out about this?" Suzune asked.
"I want results. Something tangible. And I will deal with him when that moment arrives. Besides...it's already too late." Dogen told her and Suzune's eyes widened in shock to hear that.
Unknown to them is that Poseidon was spying at them hiding in the shadows as he overheard them. Poseidon smiles to hear that everything is going as he predicted.
Haruka wearing her shinobi uniform is seen sitting on the tower of Asakusa, as she is smiling as she begins the preparations of the plan.
After finishing the supplemental training, Hibari is seen in the shower room as she was taking off her clothes.
Hibari then heard a rolling sound below her, she looked down and saw that it was an earring.
"That's…" Hibari said as she remembers that was Haruka's earring that she gave her after Hibari begged the evil ninja to not hurt Yagyu. "I thought I left that on my desk."
Hibari picks it up and places it on her clothes that were inside of a basket.
Hibari was now taking a shower to wash off the sweat on her body. As she was taking a shower, Hibari was in deep thought.
'Yagyu-chan seemed like she was angry. I got her in trouble again. Of course she'd be angry. I wonder if I'll always be dragging behind like this.' Hibari thought before she sheds a tear and soon wipes it away.
The earring in the basket begins to light up, and Hibari soon hears a familiar voice.
"It's time for me to ask a favor of you. Is that alright, my dear little puppet?"
Hibari's eyes widened to hear that voice as her pupils shrunk, and her eyes became dull and void of light. In her daze Hibari nodded in acknowledgement.
(Cue Anything Goes by Maki Ohguro)
(You count the Medals: 1, 2 and 3 Life goes on, Anything Goes, Coming up OOO!) We start seeing the screen replaced with a rocky surface and the Taka Medal is on it followed by the Tora and Batta Medals. We then move to see OOO with a magnifying glass on him. As it goes on OOO, we see OOO with different parts. Finally, we see OOO in his default form posing behind the Tatoba symbol.
(Instrumental) A Cell Medal is flipped through the air by Yuuma as he soon catches it. He inserts the Medal in the Ride Vendor before allowing it to transform into a bike. Yuuma, as OOO, drives the bike down the street as the title appears.
(Inranai motanai yume mo minai FUREE na joutai sore me ii kedo {Kokkara hajimaru The show we're waiting for Count the Medals: 1, 2 and 3}) We then see Yuuma wandering a desert carrying his underwear tied to a stick, then changes to Asuka walking through a forest, and changes to Ankh was walking on a roof in the city. Yuuma placed his stick on the ground and relaxed while on the ground as Ankh (As an arm) flew around the screen before showing the Taka, Tora, and Batta Medals.
(Unmei wa kimi hottokanai kekkyoku wa susumu shika nai {Michi naru tenkai Give me energy Count the Medals: 1, 2 and 3}) Yuuma relaxes but gets up as he notices the Taka Medal and picks it up. Asuka notices the Tora Medal and picks it up while Ankh picks up the Batta Medal. The three stand back to back with their Medals as Ankh's arm flies around the screen again before showing the three Core Medals again.
(Daijobu! Ashita wa itsudatte Blank!) The Greeed are shown placing their colored sheets on the beach as they appear relaxed. Asuka runs after Ankh but a red curtain gets in between them. Asuka tears it down to find Ankh gone.
(Jibun no kachi wa jibun de kimeru mono saa!) Ankh grabs a bunch of Cell Medals and looks at them while Yuuma stares at him. Yuuma looks at the Medals in his hand as Asuka looks at him. Yuuma soon uses the O-Scanner to scan the Taka, Tora, and Batta in his Driver.
"Henshin!" Yuuma says before transforming.
(OOO! OOO! OOO! OOO! COME ON!) We see OOO posing, then appearing in this chapter, then appearing on his Ride Vendor, and then him attacking. We then see him in the desert where he raises his arm out and several Medals burst out of the ground.
(Anything goes! Sono kokoro ga atsuku naru mono!) OOO drives his bike and the next thing we see are the Tatoba Medals appearing on Yuuma's hand with a smile. We then see him transforming into OOO. We then get a close up on his helmet.
(Mitasareru mono wo sagashite!) We see the Hanzo students on one side of a Taka Cell Medal, and the Serpent Academy students on the other side of the Cell Medal, between them are Hanzo, Kiriya, and Suzune.
(Life goes on! Honki dashite Tataku no Nara!) OOO gets his Tora claws out before charging. We then see OOO driving his bike being followed by several Taka and Tako Candroids, the Tako Candroids then form a ramp that OOO drives on which makes him fly to the air with the Taka Candroids. Asuka hugs the red curtain; hugging Ankh from behind, Ankh then makes a somewhat sad face.
(Maker ki shinai hazu!) We see the rest of the Greeed, including Poseidon, in front of their respective curtains. OOO gets the Medajalibur, charges it with three Cell Medals, and slashes the ground. As he slashed the ground, Medals burst from the ground and the song ended with the Tatoba Medals appearing from the ground to the screen.
As it was now night, Yagyu is seen in her room lying on her bed and wearing her pajamas as she is staring at the ceiling.
Yagyu was still in deep thought as she remembers leaving Hibari so early during their supplemental training. Yagyu sits up and folded her arms as she ponders on what to do.
Yagyu left her dorm room, and was now standing in front of Hibari's own room as she knocked on the door.
"Hibari, it's me. Are you awake?" Yagyu calls out but receives no answer, Yagyu lowered her head and said. "I'm sorry for leaving early earlier."
But Hibari still didn't answer, which made Yagyu look up at the door.
"Hibari?" Yagyu said.
Yagyu opened the door and entered Hibari's room, as she walked inside Yagyu saw that Hibari was gone and her window was left open, and Yagyu was left wondering where Hibari could've gone this late in the night.
Hibari is seen inside of Hanzo Academy's vaults and placed her hand on the hand scanner, and it soon recognizes her hand print as it opens the vault doors and Hibari walks inside.
The alarms sounded off in Hanzo Academy, and Kiriya raced to where it was triggered in the vaults Hibari was in.
"Intruders? That's impossible!" Kiriya said as he stopped at the vault and saw it was opened.
Kiriya carrying a lantern in his hand walks inside of the vault to see if everything is still inside, and to his relief nothing was stolen.
"No sign of any disturbance...but just to be sure…" Kiriya said as he turned to the hanging scroll on the wall and did a hand seal and kanji appeared on it before it opened a hidden safe behind it and inside was Hanzo's super-secret scroll.
Kiriya picks up the scroll and looks at it to see if it's indeed the real deal, and it was.
"It's safe." Kiriya said.
Unknown to Kiriya is that Hibari was spying at him as she stood on a wooden beam on the ceiling. She took out a smoke bomb and threw it at Kiriya as he put the scroll back to its hidden vault, and Kiriya sensed the bomb as he turned around and pulled out his sword as it exploded in front of him.
"Kn-Knockout grenade…!" Kiriya said as he accidentally breathed it in. "Oh, no…" Kiriya mutters as he falls asleep and falls to the ground.
When the smoke cleared, Hibari landed on the floor and took the scroll in her hand as she looked at it.
(Next day)
It was now morning, and the students of Hanzo had arrived in their classroom, but Kiriya had shared some disturbing news to them of what happened last night.
"The super-secret ninja scroll? What's that?" Yuuma asked.
"It's classified but let's just say that it's our academy's most sacred treasure." Kiriya told him.
"Okay, but you said it was stolen last night?" Yuuma asked and Kiriya nodded.
"But ever since that raid earlier, our security has been tightened. The only ones who could sneak into the school building, and then open the depository, are those of us who are here, myself included." Kiriya told them.
"Then who would steal the scroll?" Ikaruga asked.
"Oh please, are you really that stupid?" Everyone turned to Ankh as he was leaning on the wall while using his phone to search through the web. "It's quite obvious to me that there's a traitor among us."
"There's no way that's possible! We would never do something like this!" Asuka exclaimed at the Greeed, and Ankh scoffed.
"Fine, fade in ignorance. But…" Ankh said as he eyed on them. "Your fools to ever believe in friendship or trust. In the end those kinds of things will betray you. Trust me on that."
"Ankh…" Yuuma mutters before Ankh goes back to his phone.
"Look I'm not saying that we have a traitor here. But the fact remains, it was taken." Kiriya told them.
"Th-Then, who exactly was it?" Hibari asked, and Yagyu lowered her head.
"I'm still looking into it. But damn it...and all while the inspector was supposed to arrive." Kiriya said, which made everyone blink in confusion.
"An inspector?" Ikaruga asked.
"Yeah, I just got word that an inspector from the government will arrive to check our class to see if all's going well here." Kiriya told them.
"But isn't that a little after everything that's happened?" Yuuma asked and Kiriya nodded.
"Normally I would agree but this is something the higher ups had decided upon. Also you don't have to worry about him seeing you, I've already told him about you and he said he'll keep about it." Kiriya told him.
"Oh I see. Thank you for that." Yuuma said.
They then heard a knock on the door, they turned to the door.
"That must be him now. You can come in." Kiriya said and the inspector walks inside and stands in front of the shinobi teacher, the students, and the Rider.
He was a young man around the teenagers' age, he had messy brown hair and green eyes, he was wearing a outfit similar to Kiriya, he was wearing the Academy's male uniform and was carrying a camera around his neck.
"Hello everyone my name is Takahashi Alex, it's a pleasure to meet you." The inspector introduced himself as he bowed his head.
The students were skeptical about Alex's status as a shinobi inspector, especially since he's around their age and was wearing the school's uniform.
"Yeah, are you sure this is the guy?" Katsuragi asked Kiriya as he pointed at Alex.
"Katsuragi-san! That was rude!" Ikaruga told her.
"Don't worry about it, it's fine." Alex assured her. "It's perfectly natural to be skeptical about me. Especially since I don't look the part of an inspector."
"Even so…" Ikaruga mutters.
"Well I do admit I was skeptical about him myself. But Alex was sent here by headquarters and has the official seal. So there's no reason to be suspicious about him." Kiriya told them.
"That's right. So let's try to get along while I'm here, okay?" Alex requested.
"Of course. Oh, and I believe some introductions are in order…" Ikaruga said before Alex stopped her as he raised his hand.
"No need, it's Ikaruga, Katsuragi, Asuka, Yagyu, and Hibari, correct?" Alex asked which surprised the girls.
"H-How did you know that?" Asuka asked.
"I have my ways." Alex said before he sets his eyes on Ankh and then to Yuuma before he walks to the Rider. "And you're Hino Yuuma, correct?"
"Oh yes." Yuuma nodded, Alex smiled before he offered his hand.
"It's a pleasure to meet you. Kiriya-san told me a bit about you." Alex told him.
"Oh you too." Yuuma said as he shook his head.
Kiriya coughed in his hand, getting everyone's attention as they turned to him.
"I'm pleased that you got to know everyone, but Alex I know that you've just arrived but is it possible to postpone the inspection for now? I need to contact HQ to report what happened last night." Kiriya told him.
"Yes that's fine." Alex nodded. "I just overheard your conversation. We need to find the scroll as soon as possible."
"Thank you. As for the rest of you, you are all to wait in your rooms." Kiriya told them.
After being told to wait by Kiriya, the students of Hanzo along with Yuuma, Ankh, and Alex head to the dorms to wait, the girls were in their respective rooms while the men were in another room.
In Hibari's room, she was seated on her bed hugging her stuffed bunny.
"What should I do if I have to wait in my room? Study, I guess?" Hibari asked as she looked at her bunny, before she felt something by her feet. She looked down and saw a scroll under her bed. "What's that?"
Hibari picks the scroll up and reads the characters on it.
"'Super-secret ninja art scroll.' Huh?" Hibari gasped in shock that it's here in her own room no less. "What does this mean? Why is it here?"
Then a whip came out of nowhere as it wrapped around the Yang Scroll and it was pulled out of Hibari's hand. She looked and saw it was Haruka as she caught the scroll in her hand.
"Nicely done. You do fantastic work." Haruka told her.
"I-It's you!" Hibari said.
"Just as you promised, you were my friend, weren't you?" Haruka asked.
"Your friend?" Hibari said in confusion before she remembered that time she begged the Evil Shinobi to not hurt Yagyu after she had defeated her, which she accepted and gave Hibari her earring.
That made Hibari realize something as she turned to the earring that was on her dresser.
"You don't mean…" Hibari said.
"You were an adorable puppet." Haruka told her.
"Give it back!" Hibari said as she stood up to take the Scroll back, but Haruka easily avoided her as she placed the Scroll between her breasts as it sinks in.
"Oh no!" Hibari said before Haruka grabbed onto her wrist and brought Hibari's face close to her own.
"Now you have betrayed Hanzo Academy...no, all good ninjas everywhere." Haruka told her and Hibari lowered her head knowing that she's right, but Haruka grabbed hold of her chin to make her look at her again. "But who cares? They were treating you like you were dragging behind. But I'm not like that. I recognized your hidden power."
"P-Power?" Hibari asked, and Haruka remembers the first time they met.
"From the first time I saw you, I was aware of it. The wariness and sharpness of instinct that comes from being timid. Those are ideal abilities for espionage work. It takes more than just strength to be a shinobi. Your power will be highly esteemed on our side." Haruka said as she ran her hand down to Hibari's rear.
Hibari manages to push herself from Haruka's hold as she falls on her bed.
"A-Are you telling me to switch sides?!" Hibari asked.
"If that's what you feel like." Haruka said as she brought out a piece of paper and threw it on Hibari's lap, and the latter picked it up. "I'll be expecting you. Oh and if you get the chance, be sure to give Yuuma-kun my regards."
Hibari covered her face as a strong wind blowing around in front of her as sakura petals danced in the wind.
Hibari looked and saw that Haruka was now gone. Hibari opens the note she gave her and reads what was inside.
"W-What is this?" Hibari said.
In her room, Yagyu was reading a book but her mind went back to that time she entered Hibari's room last night and the fact that the Yang Scroll was stolen by that time.
Yagyu shook her head to shake the memory out of her head. "What am I thinking?!"
She then heard her door opening, Yagyu looked and saw that it was Asuka who opened it.
"Yagyu-chan, something terrible happened! It's Hibari-chan!" Asuka said and that gotten Yagyu's attention.
The shinobi students, Yuuma, Ankh, and Alex were in Hibari's room but saw that Hibari was gone as her stuffed bunny was on her bed. Yagyu was reading a note that Hibari made and left them.
"I came to return a book that I had borrowed, and that letter was here." Asuka told them.
"I can't believe Hibari-san was the culprit." Ikaruga said as she was still stunned by that fact.
"Me too. Who would've thought that pink idiot even had it in her? Even I'm surprised by that." Ankh said with an impressed smile on his face.
"Ankh, you really shouldn't say it like that." Yuuma told the Greeed.
"And besides, she was never a traitor, she was just being used." Alex said.
"That's right! It says she was being controlled by a Hebijo evil ninja, right?" Katsuragi said.
"But how exactly did they do it?" Asuka said as she scratched her finger on her head.
"With this?"
Everyone looked and saw that Kiriya was in the room as he was looking at Haruka's earring that was on his hand.
When Yuuma saw it he recognized it.
"That earring…" Yuuma mutters as he remembers Haruka wearing a similar earring when they first met.
Kiriya brings out a kunai and uses it to break the earring's jewel in half.
"I knew it!" Kiriya said.
Yuuma and the others looked and saw that the earring was starring a microscopic scroll as it was giving off a small light around it.
"What is that?" Yuuma asked.
"It's a psych-wave transmitter." Kiriya answered.
"Psych-wave transmitter. An item of ninja gear that receives and amplifies the will of a shinobi that has undergone special training. These amplified will impulses are able to control the subject without restraint."
"It's a trick that puppet masters often use. When did she manage to plant it?" Kiriya asked in wonder.
"Haruka…" Yuuma mutters as he looks at the small scroll in Kiriya's hand. "I can't believe she would do something like this."
Yagyu was reading Hibari's letter as she heard her voice in her head.
"I'm sorry. This is all my fault. What I have done cannot be forgiven, no matter how much I apologize."
Hibari is seen riding on a train as it was heading to a close location to where Hebijo was. As she was seated on her seat, Hibari had a sadden look as she stared at the floor.
"What I have done cannot be forgiven, no matter how much I apologize. But I swear, I will get back the ninja art scroll myself. Even if it costs me my life."
Hibari looked up with a determined look as she wasn't going to let her friends down, as her train crossed a bridge.
Yagyu lowered hand as she raised her head.
"Hibari…" Yagyu mutters before she jumps to the window which her friends notice.
"Yagyu!" Kiriya said.
"Yagyu-san, stop!" Ikaruga calls out.
"Shinobi Tenshin!" Yagyu shouted as she changed into her shinobi uniform and jumped out of the building through the window as her friends ran up to it.
"Asuka!" Katsuragi said.
"Hai!" Asuka said she, Katsuragi, and Ikaruga jumped out through the window to chase Yagyu. "Shinobi Tenshin!"
"I'm going too!" Yuuma said as he ran out of the room.
"Mind as well join in." Alex said as he followed him.
Asuka, Katsuragi, and Ikaruga split up as they headed in different directions in the city to search for Yagyu.
Alex is seen on his motorcycle as he raced down the streets to look for Yagyu, while Yuuma had found a Ride Vendor as he inserted several Cell Medals to bring out several Taka Candroids as he activated them.
Yuuma faced the Taka Candroids as they were flying above him.
"I need you guys to help find Yagyu-chan." Yuuma told the Candroids and they complied as they flew into the air to search for her.
Yuuma then inserts another Cell Medal into the Ride Vendor and pressed on the black button and it soon changes into its bike mode.
Yuuma soon got on it and raced down the streets to search for Yagyu.
"Yagyu-chan, where are you?" Yuuma said as he looked around for her.
Asuka was now standing on the street as she looked for Yagyu.
"Yagyu-chan!" Asuka calls out and soon spotted Yagyu as she jumps to a rooftop, and Asuka jumps to that very roof to follow her.
Yagyu continues to jump from rooftop to rooftop before she senses Asuka as she stops on her next rooftop as Asuka appears in front of her.
"Where do you think you're going?" Asuka asked.
Yagyu was about to turn around to jump to the rooftop behind her but…

Yagyu soon saw OOO jumping in front of her as he landed on top of the roof they were on.
"Looks like I made it just in time." OOO said.
"Yuuma, but how?" Yagyu asked.
"I had a few friends helping me out." OOO said as he pointed at one of the Taka Candroids as it was flying beside him.
"Don't get in my way you two. I'm going to find Hibari." Yagyu told them.
"Yagyu-chan, I know you're worried about Hibari-chan, but you're not thinking clearly right now." OOO stated.
"Yuuma's right. We don't even know where she went." Asuka told her.
"Whether we know or not, I'll find her, no matter what." Yagyu told them.
"I'm sorry, but I can't let you do that." Asuka said.
"Same with me too." OOO said.
"Fine...If you're going to get in my way!" Yagyu said as she readied her umbrella.
Asuka and OOO flinched before they assumed their combat stance as they were ready for her attack.
Ikaruga and Katsuragi soon meet up with each other after looking for Yagyu.
"Did you see her?" Katsuragi asked.
"No. She's not at the academy." Ikaruga shook her head.
"She always gets so reckless when it comes to Hibari." Katsuragi said as she rubs her hand on her head.
They heard a mechanical bird cry, they looked and saw a Taka Candroid flying to them.
"Wait, isn't that one of Yuuma's?" Katsuragi asks before the Taka Candroid calls out to them before it flies away.
"I think it wants us to follow it. Come on." Ikaruga told her as she followed the Candroid.
"Got it." Katsuragi said as she followed her.
Yagyu eyed Asuka and OOO, she knows OOO wasn't that experience of a fighter but he still has his ability to adapt and not to mention he's quick on his feet. So the most easy opponent for her to face is Asuka as she jumps at her and thrust her umbrella at her upperclassmen as energy surrounds it.
"Asuka-chan! Yagyu-chan!" OOO said as he ran to Yagyu to stop her but won't make it in time.
"Move!" Yagyu demanded as she thrust her umbrella at Asuka.
Asuka then jumps over her umbrella as she places her hands on it as she lands behind Yagyu and wraps her arms around her.
'She got behind me?!' Yagyu thought in shock.
"Whoa…" OOO mutters in awe as he stops running.
Yagyu struggles to break free but Asuka's hold on her was strong.
"Calm down, Yagyu-chan!" Asuka told her.
"Let me go!" Yagyu demanded before she turned to Asuka. "Leave me alone, would you?!"
Ikaruga and Katsuragi had soon arrived as the Taka Candroid had led them here.
"Yagyu-san." Ikaruga said.
"So this is where you were." Katsuragi said.
As Yagyu struggles to break free she manages to get her arm loose but then…
"Yagyu-chan!" OOO grabs onto her arm, and she soon looks at the Rider before he places a hand on her shoulder. "Please, you have to calm down. Acting like this won't help Hibari-chan."
"Yuuma…" Yagyu mutters before she calms down and lowers her head. "Asuka, you can let me go now."
Asuka complied as she removed her arms and Katsuragi and Ikaruga walked to them.
"This is my responsibility." Yagyu told them, which confused her friends before she turned to them. "I knew Hibari wasn't in her room last night."
"What?" Ikaruga asked in shock as the others were surprised by this as well.
"When I heard about the intruder, I remembered that. But I couldn't bring myself to suspect Hibari." Yagyu told them in shame.
"That's only natural, right? If I had been in the same position, I wouldn't, either." Ikaruga said.
"Yeah. Nobody realized that Hibari was being controlled." Katsuragi told her.
"It's not just that." Yagyu said as she tightly clenched her hand. "After our supplementary training, I went home, leaving Hibari behind. If I had stayed with her the whole time, this wouldn't have happened. It's because of me that Hibari…" Yagyu said in sadness as she turned away from them.
"Yagyu-chan…" OOO said before he hugged her, which surprised Yagyu and the others as Yagyu was blushing as he was holding her closely, and Yagyu felt strangely warm being held by him. "You know that's not ture. It wasn't your fault and we don't blame you for what happened, right girls?" OOO said as he and Yagyu turn to their friends as they smile in agreement as OOO let's go of Yagyu.
"That's right." Asuka nodded.
"You're not the one to blame. It's those Hebijo girls, who manipulated Hibari into doing this." Katsuragi told her.
"If anyone bears responsibility, it would fall on all of us. Yagyu-san, have you forgotten? We are all friends." Ikaruga said as she picked up Yagyu's umbrella and handed it to her which she accepted.
"Friends?" Yagyu repeated.
"That's right!" OOO said as he patted her on the head. "We are all concerned about Hibari-chan. Not just you, Yagyu-chan."
Hearing that and being patted causes Yagyu to blush.
"Now, how about we head back to come up with a plan to help Hibari-chan and get that scroll back?" OOO asked and Yagyu nodded as she headed back to the dormitory. "Well I'm glad we were able to work that out, don't you agree?"
OOO turned to Asuka, Katsuragi, and Ikaruga as they were giving him a narrow look, which confused him as he tilted his head.
"What? Did I do something wrong?" OOO asked as he rubs the back of his head.
The girls huffed as they turned away from the Rider as they left with Yagyu, and OOO was even more confused.
Unknown to them is that Alex was watching them from a distance as he took a few pictures of them, while he had a smile of amusement.
"Oh Yuuma, you truly are that clueless are you?" Alex said as he took another picture.

After she gets off the train, Hibari heads to the deepest part of the forest and soon finds Hebijo Academy thanks to the map Haruka has given her.
She was captured by two guards thinking she was an intruder, but after she told them that Haruka had invited her, they soon contacted the third year student as she was taking a shower.
After being told she was here, Haruka greeted her wearing nothing but towels around her body and on her head, and after seeing her tied up and dirty on the floor, Haruka apologizes to her and brings her to the baths and untied her rope as they can bathe together.
"U-Um…" Hibari mutters as she taps her fingers together.
"Don't worry. I was just taking a bath, myself." Haruka told her.
"O-Okay…" Hibari said.
"You understood everything I told you, huh? I'm so glad." Haruka said as she picked up a pile of bubbles in her hands and blew them to Hibari. "But tell me, did you happen to tell Yuuma-kun of what happened?"
"N-No...I left without saying goodbye…" Hibari told her.
"Oh I see...that's a little disappointing." Haruka said in disappointment, as she wanted to know if he's angry at her.
"I…" Hibari said which got Haruka's attention. "I have no place at Hanzo Academy any longer. But can I, someone from Hanzo Academy, really transfer to Hebijo Girls' Academy?"
"It's alright. We will not do you wrong." Haruka assured her as she stood up and walked to Hibari.
"So just relax, and entrust yourself to me." Haruka told her as she hugged Hibari and held her close.
Inside her head, Haruka was chuckling.
'The Owner's secret orders don't mean anything. All I wanted was this girl. And Yuuma-kun will be next.' Haruka thought as she smelled Hibari's sweet scent and enjoyed how soft she was.
Hibari had a determined look on her face as she told herself. 'I-I'll get the ninja art scroll back, no matter what!'
After they were now done in the baths and putting on their uniforms, Haruka had brought Hibari to the Academy's training ground as Hibari was looking around the area.
"This is our training ground. Hebijo, using its vast evil ninja resources, scouts out all over Japan for potentially talented students." Haruka told her as they saw broken blades, spears, shurikens, and kunai on the ground which made her chuckle. "We get a lot of washouts, as well."
"Well, we have a rare visitor."
Hibari turned around and saw Homura, Mirai, Yomi, and Hikage standing behind them as Homura, Yomi, and Hikage gave her a welcoming smile.
"And of all people, she's a Hanzo Academy shinobi." Hikage said.
"The security personnel are going to be disciplined." Yomi said with a finger on her chin.
Haruka placed her hands on Hibari's shoulder and told her friends. "As of today, she is a student here at Hebijo Girls' Academy."
Hearing that surprised them.
"I scouted her out." Haruka told them, and Mirai sighed.
"Aww, there you go again with your bad habits, Haruka." Mirai shrugged.
Homura walks up to Hibari as she looks at the ground while Horuma stares at her and Hibari looks up at her face.
"Are you serious?" Homura asked, and Hibari nodded.
"Y-Yes, I am! I can't go back to Hanzo Academy, after all." Hibari told her.
"I see. Well then, from now on, you are our friend." Homura said with a welcoming smile and the others smiled in agreement.
"Eh?" Hibari said as she was stunned to hear that.
"What's the matter?" Homura asked.
"What's the matter? Don't you suspect me?" Hibari asked.
"Suspect you? Of what?" Haruka asked.
"After being the enemy up until now, we're accepting too easily. That's what you're thinking, right?" Mirai asked.
"Good is something that is narrow-minded and discriminatory. Evil is much more tolerant than good." Homura told her as Yomi walked up to Hibari.
"That's the difference between good ninjas and evils ninjas." Yomi told her.
"But if I betray you, what will you do?" Hibari asked as she pressed her fingers together.
"Well," Hikage said, getting their attention. "If someone commits a betrayal once, it doesn't necessarily mean they won't do it again."
Hibari was a little worried to hear that.
"Go head and try it, if you think you can." Homura said and Hibari turned to her. "Evil doesn't turn anyone away. However, everything is at your own risk." She said as they saw a wounded student being carried off on a stretcher.
"In any case," Mirai said as she moved in front of Hibari. "If you ignore me, I will kill you!" She told her as she pointed her finger at Hibari.
"I-I won't ignore you!" Hibari said as she waved her hands.
Mirai shrugged as she turned away from Hibari.
"As long as you don't ignore me, I'll hang with you like I do everyone." Mirai told her.
"O-Okay…" Hibari said as she lowered her hands.
Yomi leans forward to get a good look at Hibari, she soon notices as she turns to the blond hair girl.
Yomi then moves around Hibari to look around her body before she stops at her back and stares at her rear. She hummed and Hibari covered her rear as she turned at Yomi.
"Middle-class, I'd say." Yomi said as she looked up at her chest and then pokes at it. "You'll do us neither harm nor good."
Hibari covered her chest as Yomi asked her one question.
"By the way, do you like sprouts?" Yomi asked.
"Huh?" Hibari blinked in confusion before Yomi stood up.
"Sprouts! Sprouts!" Yomi repeated.
"Yes. At least, I don't dislike them." Hibari told her.
"Really?" Yomi asked as her eyes turned into stars. "In that case, what do you think of the spike in the cost of sprouts lately? I think it is utterly abhorrent! Sprouts are supposed to be the food of the common people, but…"
"That's a relief." Hikage said as she watched Yomi go on about sprouts. "Someone else has come along to talk to her about sprouts."
"Well, it's just about time for training. Let's go." Homura told them as she walked forward.
After their talk with Homura and the others, Haruka had given a Hebijo uniform to Hibari as she was now wearing it as she gave her a tour of the Academy.
They were overseeing a class session as the teacher was giving them his lecture.
"The word 'shinobi' is written as 'heart' under 'blade'. One must always carry a blade within one's heart!"
"What's wrong?" Haruka asked as Hibari was quiet for a while.
"Nothing, just that there are so many students. At Hanzo Academy, we only had six students." Hibari told her, and Haruka chuckled before she walked in the hallway and Hibari followed her.
"The evil ninjas do not have the same consideration for bloodlines that the good ninjas do. For money's sake, or to escape from the notice of the world, there are many reasons why our students enroll." Haruka told her.
Homura is seen wearing her shinobi uniform and armed with six of her swords as she slashes on the bamboo sticks around her.
"Homura-chan came from a family line of good ninjas. Normally, she would have been one of your classmates." Haruka explained.
"Then, why did she become an evil ninja?" Hibari asked.
"I'm sure you must already be aware of this, but Hanzo Academy, being a good ninja school, requires that one have no prior criminal behavior to be admitted." Haruka explains as Homura slashes had cut down several bamboo into pieces as they were falling around her.
"Criminal behavior?" Hibari asked.
"I heard she stabbed someone." Haruka told her and Hibari gasped to hear that. "She didn't have any other option but to become an evil ninja."
Mirai is seen firing her gun umbrella.
"Mirai was supposedly someone who was bullied. She becomes an evil ninja to bully the rest of the world back." Haruka explained.
Hikage is seen with a grin on her face as she was fighting against as she easily slashed and tore them apart.
"Hikage-chan was raised on the battlefield since she was a child, which forced her to become a fighting machine."
Yomi is seen swinging her sword on the ground which created a shockwave that was heading towards a hill which smashed it into pieces.
"Yomi-chan, who grew up in a ghetto, and lost her parents in poverty, hates the structure of the world itself."
Haruka and Hibari were now outside as they were standing on a belocany so she could show Hibari the outside of the main building.
"Here at Hebijo Girls' Academy, we five have been recognized for rising on our own strengths. We work on a whole different premise than you did." Haruka told her, and Hibari lowered her head as she pondered about this.
After the tour, Haruka had brought Hibari to Suzune's room so she could meet her teacher in person. Hibari was seated on the floor as she was waiting for Suzune, as she was waiting, Haruka's words were still ringing in her head.
"We work on a whole different premise than you did."
'Yagyu-chan...Yuuma-chan, and everyone…' Hibari thought as she closed her eyes.
"Sorry to keep you."
Hibari looked and saw Haruka and Suzune had entered the room as they walked out of the shadows.
"This is Suzune-sensei, our advisor." Haruka introduced the masked and armored woman as she walked in front of Hibari.
"I-I'm Hibari." Hibari bowed her head.
"It sounds far-fetched that you would change sides from Hanzo Academy." Suzune stated, and Hibari turned away from her before Haruka walked to her side and placed her hand on Hibari's shoulder.
"It isn't as though this is without precedent." Haruka said as she faced her teacher. "It's possible that by changing sides, she can become an even greater shinobi. Right?" She asked Hibari as they turned at each other.
"Haruka," Suzune said and both students turned to her. "I leave her to you."
"Affirmative." Haruka said as she and Hibari bowed their heads.
"Hibari, was it?" Suzune asked.
"Y-Yes!" Hibari said as she raised her head.
"It takes resolve to turn from good ninja to evil ninja. Enough that you have to forsake yourself, body, and soul." Suzune coldy told her.
"Body and soul…" Hibari repeated before the masked and armored woman left as she walked into and disappeared into the shadows.
"Suzune-sensei was once a good ninja." Haruka told her and Hibari was shocked to hear that.
"Huh?" Hibari gasped.
"This is top-secret. I'm just telling you this because I want you to know that there are others like you, too." Haruka told her, and Hibari was even more curious about the mysterious Suzune.
"That woman…? What is this feeling?" Hibari mutters as Suzune's presence feels familiar to her, and remembers that written message during her time on the training island trip. "Hud? Did something just…?"
After they brought Yagyu back with them, Yuuma and the others decided to hold a strategy mission to find and rescue Hibari, and to take the Yang Scroll back from Hebijo.
Seeing that it might take a while, Yuuma, Asuka, and Ankh had gone to the covenant store to get some snacks and drinks to keep their energy up.
After getting what Ikaruga, Katsuragi, and Yagyu the snacks and drinks that they requested, Yuuma and Asuka got their own while Ankh got his usual popsicles.
They soon paid for the supplies and left the store.
"Thank you for your patronage!" The cashier told them as the trio left the store.
As they were walking back to Hanzo, Ankh had an annoyed look on his face.
"Honestly, why did I have to come along with your errands?" Ankh asked.
"Because, I wanted to make sure you wouldn't pull something under our noses." Asuka told him, and Ankh scoffed as he turned away from her.
Asuka sighed and Yuuma noticed that she had a worried look on her face.
"Still worried about, Hibari-chan?" Yuuma asked and Asuka nodded.
"Yeah...I really wish she could at least send us a message or something." Asuka said.
"Me too. But I'm sure they're treating her fairly." Yuuma said and Asuka blinked in confusion. "I know I don't have any proof, but I just know that Homura-chan and the others aren't the kind of people who would be hostile towards someone who joins them."
"Yuuma-kun…" Asuka mutters before she smiles. "You really are too nice for your own good. But I suppose that's just who you are."
Yuuma nervously chuckles as he rubs the back of his neck. "You really think so?"
"Don't worry. I mean it in a good way." Asuka told her.
"Well if you ask me you're both naive idiots." Ankh stated which caused Yuuma and Asuka to turn at him.
"Hey!" They both said as Ankh scoffed once again.
As they were walking someone bumps into Ankh as they stopped walking to face the person Ankh has bumped into.
"Oh sorry about that." Said Seth Kazedangan.
"You should be." Ankh said as he dusted off and adjusted his clothes.
"Ankh, don't be rude. I'm sorry about him." Yuuma told Seth.
"Don't worry about it. No hard feelings for me." Seth said as he walked away.
As he was walking, Seth soon brings out the Medal Holder and opens it to look at the Core Medals.
"So this is the power that lets you surpass even infinity itself. Very nice." Seth said, and Ankh notices that the Medal Holder is now missing from his coat.
"Ah! That bastard! He took the Medals from me!" Ankh said which surprised Yuuma and Asuka, before they saw Seth waving the Medal Holder at them before he ran away. "Damn it! After him!"
Ankh chased after him and Yuuma and Asuka followed him.
"And you told me not to lose the Medals." Yuuma said as he ran.
"I swear Ankh, if those Medals are so important to you then you should take better care of them." Asuka said as she ran as well.
Seth had run to a park of the city but stopped as he saw Asuka jumping above him as she landed in front of him and faced him. Seth was about to turn around and run, but soon saw Yuuma and Ankh had arrived as they were behind him.
Seth clicks his tongue in annoyance before he shows them an impressed smile.
"Alright, looks like you caught me." Seth said as he raised both of his hands up.
"Stop with the games and give us back the Medals!" Ankh said as he brought out his Greeed Arm.
"Medals? Oh you mean these right?" Seth asked as he waved the Medal Holder, and Seth hummed in thought before he smirks and puts the Holder in his jacket. "Afraid, I can't let you do that. After all, from what I was told these Medals are dangerous if they're left in the wrong hands."
"Oh? Then what about you? You really think your hands are the right ones?" Ankh asked.
"Maybe…? Do you want to find out?" Seth said as he was ready for a fight, and Ankh was ready as well which made Yuuma and Asuka a little worried.
"Ankh, try to go easy on hi-" Yuuma said before Asuka sensed someone in the area and saw an incoming energy slash heading towards him and Ankh.
"Yuuma-kun! Ankh! Look out!" Asuka said as she ran up to them and pushed them to the ground while Seth dodged the energy slash by rolling on the ground. "That was close…Are you two alright?" She asked as they sat back.
"Yeah, I think so...but what was that?" Yuuma asked.
"We meet again OOO."
Everyone looked and saw it was Poseidon in Kamen Rider as he walked to them.
"You again!" Ankh growls as he, Yuuma, Asuka, and Seth stand back up.
"I come to fight you again, but only to find that you've let your Medals get stolen." Poseidon said as he set his eyes on Seth. "But I suppose now is a good time to get them."
Poseidon walks to Seth as he reaches out his hand to him.
"Hand over the Medals...now!" Poseidon told him.
But Seth kept calm as he chuckled and showed him a smirk on his face.
"Fine...but if you want them so badly." Seth said as he brought out the Diendriver, which surprised Poseidon as he stopped walking the moment he saw the Driver in his hand.
"It can't be!" Poseidon said.
Seth soon brings out his Kamen Rider Card and inserts it into his Driver.
KAMEN RIDE:
"Henshin!" Seth shouted as he pulled the trigger of his Driver.
DIEND
Seth soon transforms into Kamen Rider Diend as he faces Poseidon, and his transformation surprises Yuuma, Ankh, and Asuka.
"Diend…" Poseidon growls as he glares at the cyan Rider.
"No way...He was a Kamen Rider?" Asuka asked in shock.
Diend fires at Poseidon, and Poseidon deflects his bullets with his spear before he charges at Diend. Poseidon slashes his spear at Diend and he dodges his attacks before he blocks his next attack with his gun.
As their weapons were in a lock, Diend opens his Driver and inserts a Rider Card in it.
KAMEN RIDE:
Diend soon manages to push Poseidon back and kicks on his chest forcing him to stumble back as he pulls the trigger of his gun.
BEAST
Diend summons Kamen Rider Beast as he faces Poseidon before the Summon Rider claps his hands.
"Now, it's lunchtime!" Beast said as he pulled out his personal weapon the Dice Saber as he charged at Poseidon.
Both Beast and Poseidon clashed their weapons a few times, before Poseidon slashed at his legs and Beast dodges it by jumping over his spear and rolled on the ground by Poseidon's side and quickly stands back on his feet and slashed on his back forcing Poseidon to stumble forward before he stops and turns back to Beast.
Beast soon changes to his Dolphi Ring and inserts it into his Driver.
DOLPHI, GO: Do-Do-Do-Do-Dolphi
A purple magic circle appeared and slid through Beast's right arm as he now wears his Dolphi Mantle.
Poseidon stabs his spear at Beast, but the Summon Rider parries his attack and lands a few good hits on Poseidon before his next attack forces Poseidon to stumble back.
Beast soon spun the wheel on his Saber and punched his Dolphi Ring into the Saber's Ring Slot as it landed on a six.
SIX, DOLPHI: SABER STRIKE
Beast slashed his Saber forward which created six magic circles and flying out of them were energy dolphins as they flew towards Poseidon.
Poseidon was able to slashed some of the energy dolphins away but the others managed to land a few good hits around him.
Diend soon brought out his Blast Card and inserted it into his Driver.
ATTACK RIDE: BLAST
Diend soon fired enhanced energy shots at Poseidon, which forced the Dark Rider to stumble back as he fell on one knee.
"Had enough yet?" Diend asked as he walked to Beast's side with his gun still aimed at him. "Because trust me, I can do this all day."
Poseidon chuckles as he stands back up. "Oh please! Like that would be enough to defeat me!"
Poseidon sends an energy slash at Diend and Beast, and Diend quickly brings out his Barrier Card and inserts into his Driver.
ATTACK RIDE: BARRIER
Diend created a barrier around himself and Beast to protect them from Poseidon's attack as it hit on his barrier.
When Diend dismissed his barrier he saw that Poseidon was already in front of him and Beast, which surprised him.
"What the…?" Diend gasped before Poseidon attacked both him and Beast as he slashed his spear on the two Riders.
Poseidon lands a powerful slash on Beast followed with energy slashed which destroyed the Summon Rider as he exploded.
"Damn you!" Diend exclaimed as he fired at the Dark Rider, but Poseidon easily deflected his gunfire before he sent an energy slash at him and when it hit him Diend was sent flying before falling to the ground.
Diend was about to get back up but Poseidon stomped his foot on his chest to pin Diend on the ground.
"You have been a nuisance for some time." Poseidon said as he pointed his spear at Diend. "No doubt your death will please my master!"
Poseidon thrusts his spear at Diend.
"Oh no!" Yuuma said before he ran to save him.
"Yuuma-kun! Wait!" Asuka said as she followed him.
"I have to make it!" Yuuma said as he reached out to Diend.
Diend braced himself for Poseidon's attack…Someone jumped in to save Diend as he kicked on Poseidon forcing the Dark Rider to stumble back, Asuka and Yuuma stopped running as they and Diend looked at the one who saved the cyan Rider.
"I was wondering what was taking you guys so long. Guess it's a good thing I went to look for you." Said Alex as he faced Poseidon.
"Alex?" Yuuma gasped. Alex then turns to Diend as he sits up.
"I sure hope you weren't the cause for this." Alex said with a narrow look and Diend rolled eyes under his helmet.
"Maybe…" Diend said.
"Well, we'll talk about that later. For now…" Alex said as he turned back to Poseidon who was glaring at him.
"Who are you supposed to be?" Poseidon asked.
"How about I show you." Alex said as he brought out the Decadriver which surprised Poseidon.
"That Driver...It can't be…!" Poseidon said.
Alex soon puts on the Driver as a belt appears around his waist. Alex then opens his Ride Booker and brings out his Rider Card.
"Henshin!" Alex said as he inserts his Rider Card into his Driver.
KAMEN RIDE: DECADE
Alex transforms into Kamen Rider Decade as he faces Poseidon, and seeing him transformed surprises Yuuma, Ankh, and Asuka while Poseidon growls at him.
"No way...Alex is a Kamen Rider too?" Yuuma said in shock.
"Decade...So you're here!" Poseidon said.
"Decade? So that's his name?" Asuka asked.
"Pretty much, yeah." Diend nodded.
"I really don't have the time to deal with you right now." Poseidon said as he brought out a few Cell Medals and broke them in half and threw them to the ground and the broken Medals soon grew and changed into Waste Yummies.
"Maybe you don't, but I certainly do." Decade said.
One of the Waste Yummies attacks Decade, and he dodges its attacks and punches that Yummy on the head, and soon dodges another Yummy's attack as he kicks that Yummy to the ground, but then the Waste Yummies soon get back up.
"Of course it wasn't going to be that easy." Decade said as he pulled out an Attack Ride Card and inserted it into his Driver.
ATTACK RIDE: BLAST
Decade pulled his Ride Booker in gun mode and fired enhanced energy shots against some of the Waste Yummies destroying them.
After Decade had stop firing he soon saw another Waste Yummy charging to attack him, and Decade quickly changes to his Booker's sword mode as he dodges that Yummy's attack and slashed on it as he passed by it, and Decade runs forward as he slashes on a few Waste Yummies.
Decade turns back to the Waste Yummies as they were now back on their feet. Decade soon pulled out an Attack Ride Card as he inserted it into his Driver.
ATTACK RIDE: SLASH
Decade charges at the Waste Yummies and slashed with his sword as energy surrounds the blade as he destroys them.
After Decade had destroyed the Waste Yummies, he soon spotted Poseidon attack him with his spear and Decade dodges and parries his attack before the Dark Rider sends an energy slash at Decade and he blocks it with his sword but was sent skidding back before he manages to stop himself.
Poseidon charges at Decade to attack with his spear, and Decade dodges it by spinning to his side before he stops with his back against the Dark Rider.
Poseidon charges at Decade again, and Decade soon brings out Hibiki's Card and then inserts his Rider Card into his Driver.
KAMEN RIDE:
Poseidon attacks Decade at his back, and Decade dodges it as he moves beside Poseidon and kicks the Dark Rider away and soon closes his Diver.
HIBIKI
Purple flames appeared Decade before he waved his arm to blow them away as he transformed into Kamen Rider Hibiki.
D-Hibiki and Poseidon faced each other as D-Hibiki pulled out his Ongekibou Rekka as he was ready to fight Poseidon. Poseidon charges at D-Hibiki and the two Riders clashed their weapons a few times before they entered a lock against each other.
Poseidon pushes D-Hibiki back and thrusts his spear at the Rider a few times, and D-Hibiki dodges and parries his attack before he counterattacks and lands a few hits on Poseidon's chest with his Rekka which forced him to stumble back.
Poseidon channels energy around his spear and D-Hibiki brings out an Attack Ride Card and inserts it into his Driver.
ATTACK RIDE: ONIBI
Poseidon sends an energy slash at D-Hibiki and the latter spews purple fire at the Dark Rider's attack which cancel each other out as they explode upon impact.
Then D-Hibiki used that chance to throw fireballs with his Rekka, which landed upon Poseidon's body forcing the Dark Rider to stumble back.
"Are you ready to give up now?" D-Hibiki asks as he twirls his Rekka and assumes his combat stance.
"Do you even have to ask?!" Poseidon shouted as he pointed his spear at D-Hibiki, and the two Riders waited for the other to make the first move until…
"That is enough Poseidon!"
Everyone looked and saw an Aurora Curtain appearing in the area, and walking out of it was Shadow Moon as he walked to Poseidon.
"Shadow Moon…" D-Hibiki and Poseidon said.
"Okay seriously, how many Kamen Riders are there?" Asuka asked.
"That is a good question…" Yuuma mutters.
Shadow Moon stops by Poseidon as he turns to him.
"Poseidon, need I remind you that the master had entrusted you with an important mission. Do you really have the time to waste on these whelps?" Shadow Moon asked.
Poseidon clicks his tongue as he lowered his head and rested his spear on his shoulder.
"Of course not. Don't worry, I was just speeding up the process." Poseidon said.
"For the master's sake, you better hope it does." Shadow Moon said as he turned to the Riders, Asuka, and Ankh. "Mark my words, this won't be the last time you'll see us."
An Aurora Curtain appeared beside Shadow Moon and Poseidon before the two Dark Riders walked into the Curtain before it disappeared.
"Always the last words with villains." Decade said as he changed back into his Base Form.
"You can say that again." Decade turned to Diend as he stood back up and dusted off his armor before he turned to him. "Also I know I don't say this often, but thanks for the assist.
"It's no problem. Because it only seems fair, since you've helped me a couple of times, despite having hidden agendas." Decade told him.
"I guess that's true." Diend shrugged. "Well anyway, best that I take my leave now."
Diend soon begins to walk away to leave the area.
"Ahem!" Decade calls out which makes Diend stop walking and turns to him as he offers his hand. "The Medals?"
Diend sighed. "Fine…"
Diend brought out the Medal Holder and threw it at Decade as he caught it. Decade opened it and saw that the Core Medals were still inside.
"It's still an incomplete set so I'll come back for it in a later time. But with that, consider us even." Diend said as he walked away and waved them goodbye.
"I swear that guy…" Decade mutters before he notices Yuuma, Asuka, and Ankh walking towards him. "Yeah, I'm sorry about him. But don't worry I'm nothing like him." Decade told them as he changed back into Alex and handed them the Medal Holder.
"Well don't expect any thanks from me!" Ankh said as he snatched the Holder out of his hand and walked away from him.
"Ankh…" Asuka said in disappointment before she turned back to Alex and bowed his head. "I'm sorry about him. But he's pretty much like that all the time."
"Don't worry about it. It's fine." Alex told her.
"Thanks for helping us, Alex. But how are you a Kamen Rider even though you're a shinobi, and what was all that about?" Yuuma asked.
"Well ummm...that's sort of a long story." Alex said as he scratched his finger on his cheek.
(Meanwhile)
Suzune was in Dogen's room as he was reading the Yang Scroll while Suzune was informing him of Hibari's transfer to their Academy.
"A transfer student? At a time like this?" Dogen said as he turned to her.
"On the recommendation of one of the students. Her abilities as a shinobi are appreciable. However, this student is…" Suzune said.
"No matter." Dogen said, stopping Suzune from finishing. "The administration of the students is your job."
"Understood." Suzune bowed her head.
"Are you upset that I took it upon myself to acquire this, without speaking to you first?" Dogen asked.
"It is not that. As I said before, simple acquiring it means nothing. It is no more than an act of folly." Suzune told him.
"Do not get the wrong idea, Suzune. Who do you think it is that makes it possible for you to be here? When you failed your mission as a good ninja, and were near death, I am the one who took you in and supported you for this long." Dogen told her.
"I am mindful of that." Suzune said while secretly hiding her disgust and shame for the headmaster of Hebijo.
After her talk with Dogen, Suzune is seen staring at the night sky while standing on top of the roof of a building.
'You are also the one who used me to get where you are now, are you not? I cannot afford to delay any longer. The time to stain what lies in this moonlight in blood has come.' Suzune thought.
(Back with Yuuma, Alex and the others)
After getting the Medals back, Yuuma, Asuka, Ankh, and Alex had arrived back to Hanzo. Shortly after they had arrived, Alex begins to explain to them who he really is.
"Let me see if I got this straight. You're not a shinobi, but a Kamen Rider like Yuuma, who can travel between other worlds, and the reason why these Dark Riders are here is to conquer our world and you're here to stop them. Is that right?" Katsuragi said.
"For the most part, yeah." Alex said as he was eating a box of pocky.
Katsuragi sighed as she placed a hand on her head. "Okay, it's official now...My life will never be the same again after this."
"Well, I still have many questions to ask you, it will have to wait. Right now, finding Hebijo is our top priority." Ikaruga said before she and the others turned to the maps that were on the floor as they were seated around it. "From what I can tell, Hebijo appears to boast quite a number of students. As far as going without being noticed, it's hard to think that it's hidden in the city, the way Hanzo Academy is, isn't it?"
"If that's so, it's on a desert island, or deep in the mountains. The direction is another question, huh?" Katsuragi asked as Ikaruga was drinking her tea and Katsuragi took a bite of a donut in her hand.
"It's a shinobi facility, so they probably also took into account chi flow and feng shui." Ikaruga said.
Asuka sighed as she and Yuuma turned at each other.
"This is so complicated, I can't keep up." Asuka said as she scratched her finger on her cheek.
"Yeah...You're not the only one." Yuuma mutters as he rubs the back of his head.
Alex chuckles to hear that.
Across the other side of the room, Kiriya, Yagyu, and Ankh were watching them.
"You seem to have calmed down." Kiriya told the first year student.
"I'm sorry." Yagyu said as she bowed her head to her teacher.
"It's not me you should be apologizing to, right?" Kiriya told her before they turned back to Asuka and Yuuma.
"If Asuka and Yuuma hadn't located you…" Kiriya said.
"At the time," Yagyu said as she remembers that time Asuka dodged her attack with such skill and speed. "I was so preoccupied, I couldn't hold myself back. Asuka still managed to avoid my full-power thrust. The same thrust that not even Hebijo's evil ninjas could dodge."
"Asuka's skills are improving dramatically. Is that what you're saying?" Kiriya asked, and Yagyu nodded.
"I believe that's the size of it." Yagyu said.
"Hmph...I guess that idiot girl has some potential after all." Ankh said.
Kiriya then remembers his talk with Daidoji about Asuka's hidden potential.
"Latent strength is unconscious strength. As such, she is a double-edged sword. If she takes the wrong path, she could arrive at the same place as the other."
"A double-edged sword, huh?" Kiriya said as he held his chin. He then heard a faint bell sound, and Yagyu noticed the look on his face.
"What's wrong?" Yagyu asked.
"Nothing." Kiriya told her before he heads to the door. "I remembered something I need to do. Wait here until I return."
The others notice as they turn to their to the white haired man.
"Understood." Ikaruga said.
Kiriya opens the door to leave the room as it closes behind, and Yuuma blinks to see that and Katsuragi cupped her hand on her chin.
"That's strange, huh?" Katsuragi said.
"Yeah...it kind of was." Yuuma said.
"What's wrong you two?" Asuka asked.
"Well, when Kiriya-san usually leaves, doesn't he usually do it in a burst of smoke and disappear?" Yuuma asked, and the others blink in realization as they know he's right.
Alex had a narrow look on his face as he knows what's going to come next.
Kiriya is seen standing outside of another area of the school as he looks around the area.
"The sound came from around here." Kiriya said before he heard the same bell sound behind him. He turned around and saw Suzune standing behind him. "Who are you?!"
"Hebijo Girls' Academy Shinobi Instructor Suzune." She answered.
"Suzune?" Kiriya repeated.
"Hanzo Academy Shinobi School Teacher Kiriya…" Suzune started before she flicked her cloak and brought out a katana. "I challenge you to face me."
Seeing there was no way out of this, Kiriya brought out his own sword in a reverse grip style as the two shinobi instructors faced each other.
They soon jumped and slashed at each other as they passed by the other's side before they landed on the ground.
Kiriya placed a hand on his shoulder as it had a cut on it, but thankfully it wasn't deep. He then turns to Suzune as she stands up.
"Did you come here to show me your swordsmanship?" He asked before Suzune's chest armor was shattered into pieces because of Kiriya's attack, exposing her large chest that was covered by a tight sleeveless shirt that exposed her stomach, and then her helmet and mask shattered into pieces as Kiriya stood up and faced her as he said...
"Rin!"
Suzune chuckles as she puts on red frame glasses on her now exposed face, as it was indeed Rin, Kiriya's student, now a young woman in her 20s and her hair was tied in the back of her head and was wearing lipstick on her lips.
"Upon seeing your face, I kind of wanted to test you. Imagine, exposing myself after just one exchange. That's my master for you." Rin said.
"As thought I'd forget my student's swordsmanship." Kiriya tells her and Rin grits her teeth to hear that but soon smirks at him.
"Ah, yes, speaking of students, one of your own is now in the care of Hebijo Girls' Academy." Rin told her master, and Kiriya gasped to hear that.
"Then Hibari really did go to Hebijo?" Kiriya asked.
"Right now, we are both in positions of responsibility. I came here to inform you of that." Rin told him.
"Why, Rin? Why did you become an evil ninja?" Kiriya asked his former student.
"The answer to that…" Rin said before she threw a kunai at him, and Kiriya caught it between his fingers and saw that it had a note tied on the bottom of it. "...I will give it to you there!"
Kiriya soon removes the note off of the kunai and opens it up to look at it and sees that the note was actually a map with locations.
"A map of Hebijo?" Kiriya said as he looked up to his student as she adjusted her glasses.
"I'll be expecting you, Kiriya-sensei." Suzune said before she created a cloud of smoke around her.
Kiriya quickly ran to her but soon saw that Rin was now gone as the smoke cleared up.
"Rin!" Kiriya calls out as he looks around for her.
Unknown to Kiriya is that Alex was watching him and Rin in hiding as he took a few pictures of them.
"So now it begins. But now the only question is, what part does the Dark Riders have in all of this?" Alex wonders out loud.
