Nina Myers arrives at CTU and is immediately escorted to Jack Bauer's holding room. George Mason is already here.

Nina: What's going on?
Mason: Apparently someone kidnapped Audrey Raines and Tony Almeida. They're being held hostage to force Jack to kidnap Chloe Obrien and bring her to them. We'd like to use this to capture some of them into custody, find out who they're working for and why exactly they've gone to all this trouble for these four.
Nina: What do you need from me?
Mason: Jack's convinced them that you might be willing to help, given your history with him. We won't let Chloe leave the building for obvious reasons, but hopefully we can bluff. Think you can be a convincing liar?
Nina: I can try.
Mason: Good, the president just has to sign off on this, we're still waiting to hear back from him.

At a cabin at Camp David the president is discussing the situation with Santos.

Donovan: We're certain that Tony and Audrey have been kidnapped, that this isn't some ploy to free Jack Bauer?
Santos: Tony Almeida would never be part of any such plot, and clearly whoever is behind this clearly had at least one operative in place long before today.
Donovan: The guard. Could he have been the one who poisoned the sodium penathol, among other acts of sabotage?
Santos: There's nothing in his file to indicate he had the medical expertise to administer poison, but his terrorist superiors could have taught him. At any rate this operation would risk losing Jack Bauer as a source of intel, but I think he's told us everything he's going to.
Donovan: Why would these people go to all of this trouble to eliminate these four?
Santos: Before Jack Bauer and Audrey Raines betrayed their country, they worked with Chloe Obrien and Tony Almeida, investigating alleged corruption charges against certain politicians.
Donovan: A corrupt politician isn't exactly new, they go on tv, hold their wife's hand, maybe cry a little, and get re-elected.
Santos: Perhaps Jonas Hodges and his allies were involved in something more than just a standard financial irregularity or adulterous affair. And now, they're tying up loose ends.
Donovan: And this operation could be our best chance to find out what, and who. Tell CTU they have my authorization to go ahead.

The Knights of Labor prepare their assault on Willow's house. They still haven't heard from Dan and Rick, but they have enough "soldiers" for this. In ten minutes they'll begin.

Kim calls her old friend Danielle.

Kim: I'm sorry, but it looks like I'm not going to be able to get home tonight.
Danielle: It's because of what happenned today, isn't it?
Kim: Yes, because of my past I've become a target, I can't put the baby in danger right now.
Danielle: Okay, I'll stay with the little one for now. Stay safe.
Kim: You too.

Split screens show Kim hanging up on Danielle, president Santos going back to his meeting with Hekmetyar, CTU preparing for the operation, Stasevich finishing work on their nuclear dirty bomb.

Stasevich: It is done.
Sabzi: How many americans will this bomb kill?
Stasevich: Depending on where it is detonated, population density, anywhere between 10,000 and 100,000 people.
