Author's note:
Hello to the poor soul reading this story! I haven't visited this in a while, so I re-read the story. It's not my best work, but oh well. I enjoy writing this story, and I'm really only doing it for fun so don't expect too much from me. The song for this chapter is Asshole by hooligan chase.
I once again woke up to a dark room and an arm draped over me. At least this time I knew the name of the arm's owner. I carefully wiggled out from under his arm, and got out of bed. He groaned and rolled over but didn't wake up. I picked up a t-shirt that was laying on the floor and shrugged it on.
When I walked out of the bedroom I was temporarily blinded by the light streaming through the window. My head was pounding, but I managed to find my purse next to one of my shoes. When I pulled out my phone I let out a sigh of relief. It was only 10 am meaning I hadn't accidentally slept through the whole day. I sat down at the table and let my head fall into my hands. What was happening to me? I had just spent two nights with a complete stranger a week after I broke up with my boyfriend. Now I was in this strangers apartment wearing nothing but a t-shirt, sitting across the table from a bong. Not to mention whatever else was laying unmarked on the table. I groaned. This wasn't like me. Sure I drank and partied a little bit, but never like this. I was always responsible. I needed to pull myself together.
After chugging a few glasses of water, I tried to find my scattered clothes. I managed to find both shoes and my dress. The rest must have been in the bedroom, but I didn't want to wake Percy up and talk to him. It was time to return to my real life. I did manage to find a sweatshirt in the living room, so I threw it on over my dress. It was bad enough that I would have to make my way home with my hair and makeup all messed up, and I didn't need people seeing my skimpy dress that I had worn to the bar. As quietly as I could, I let myself out of Percy's apartment.
The rest of the day was dedicated to being a responsible adult. I cleaned, did laundry, and managed to get all of the tangles out of my hair. By the time I went to sleep, the only remaining evidence of my wild weekend was Percy's sweatshirt folded neatly on top of my dresser.

On Monday morning I walked into work at 8 am sharp, coffee in hand, ready to face another week. I truly loved my job, and my hard work was paying off. My boss routinely mentioned the good quality of my work, and I was being given more responsibility every week. I settled in at my desk and started responding to my emails.
My work day was nearly over when my phone pinged. I turned it over to look at it and my heart nearly stopped. It was Percy.
"You left some stuff at my apartment yesterday ;)"
"I know I didn't want to wake you up. I also borrowed a hoodie from you."
"Well I guess we'll just have to hang out again! I'm going out tonight if you want to join me."
When I read that text my head dropped onto my desk. It was Monday. This man was going out on a Monday. Then I remembered how hot he was, and how good it had felt to run my hands all over his body. I remembered how his hair felt when I ran my fingers through it, and the way his lips on my neck had made my whole body tingle. And despite my better judgement, I wanted nothing more than to see him again. I lifted my head off my desk and took a deep breath. I did not need to get involved with someone new right now, and I definitely didn't need to be going out on a Monday. So, I told Percy that I was busy, and we should meet up some other day.

The rest of the week passed slowly. I was thankful when Friday rolled around, but I still hadn't talked to Percy again. He had acknowledged my text with a thumbs up, but we otherwise had no communication. Sitting on the subway on my way home from work I couldn't get him out of my head.
I was jerked back into reality by a rowdy group of guys getting onto the subway. I didn't pay them much attention until I spotted a mop of black hair out of the corner of my eye. It was Percy. I quickly looked away. I didn't want to randomly talk to him on the subway! But my efforts were futile because as soon as he turned around he spotted me. My heart started racing as he sauntered down the length of the subway car toward me. He plopped down in the seat next to me.
"Hey pretty lady. Long time to see," he said, wiggling his eyebrows.
"Hey," I responded looking over at him. His hair was pushed to one side, and a cigarette was tucked behind his ear. His long legs sprawled out in front of him.
"What are you doing sitting on a subway looking all fancy?" he asked. His words were slurring a little bit.
"I'm on my way home from work, what are you doing on a subway?"
"Going somewhere," he said, almost as if he had forgotten where he was going. I let out a laugh.
"And where are you coming from?"
"These are a lot of questions," he answered as his head rolled back to rest on the seat. A goofy grin spread across his face. "You want to come with me?"
"I'm still dressed for work!" I protested. His smile was contagious.
"Well then I'll escort you to your closet, and then we can go out. I am nothing if not a gentleman!" I let out a sigh.
"Fine, why not," I responded. As soon as the words were out he jumped out of his seat and let out a shout of excitement. Some of our fellow passengers looked at him in annoyance, but Percy was unfazed.
"Great what is our stop?" he asked leaning against a pole.
"This one," I said standing up as the subway slowed to a stop. He grabbed my hand and pulled me up to the front of the car past his friends, yelling something vague about meeting them there.

We walked from the subway stop back to my apartment. Well more like I walked and Percy bounced along next to me. He had a surprising amount of energy, but he held onto my hand the entire time. By the time I was standing in front of my closet I still had no idea where we were going.
"What am I supposed to wear to go somewhere?" I asked, turning to look at Percy who had flopped onto my bed as soon as we walked in. He lifted his head to look at me.
"Something hot." I walked over to stand over him, our knees nearly touching.
"Very helpful," I responded sarcastically. He held out his arms for me to help him up. I pulled him up and he slung an arm around my shoulder, walking me back to the closet.
"Well," he said, drawing out the word. He started to rifle through my closet, only to suddenly stop and pull out a sweater.
"Really?" he asked grinning from ear to ear, " What is this?"
"It's a sweater! I like it!" I said snatching it from it.
"Do your grandkids also like it?" he asked, still smiling.
"Not helping!" I responded as I turned back to my closet so he couldn't clearly see me smile. He shook his head at me and continued on his deep dive through my closet. He finally pulled out a tight skirt and an equally tight shirt.
"This should work," he declared presenting me the outfit. I glared at him.
"Fine," I smirked, taking the outfit from him.

Percy laid on my bed and talked to me the entire time I was getting ready. When I finally strapped my shoes on, I walked back to once again stand over him. He held out his arms, and I pulled him up. As soon as he was once again standing on his feet he slowly looked me up and down and swallowed.
"I picked well," he declared. He spun me around, grabbed onto my shoulders, and steered me out of the front door into the night. So much for me pulling my life together.
