In their hideout Sabzi and Stasevich argue about what to do with their nuclear dirty bomb. In his youth Stasevich served in the Soviet Red Army in Afghanistan, at which time Sabzi was already fighting for the taliban. Although they now shared a common enemy in America, their current argument is bringing up old tensions.
.
Stasevich; The americans are looking for us, we should detonate now before they find us.
Sabzi: We can use this to force them to hand over their own president and that apostate Hekmetyar.
Stasevich: Even if we kill their president, they will choose another. It's our best chance to strike a blow, frighten their leaders into surrender.
Sabzi: Donovan might be expendable to his side, Hekmetyar is not. Without him, the rest of the taliban's leadership will refuse any peace deal with the great Satan.
Stasevich: And if they find us first?
Sabzi: Then we detonate, we will not allow ourselves to be taken alive.

Chapelle arrives at CTU, with everything that's happenned he feels the need to personally oversee this operation. Mason believes he wants to take credit if this mission is successful, and pin all of the blame on Mason if things go wrong. Milo has hacked into local security cameras near the warehouse. This is a hidden camera, recently installed to catch graffiti artists. The terrorists inside didn't seem to notice, recent footage showed masked gunmen forcing Tony and Audrey inside. Milo has traced ownership to a dummy corporation, Ted Cofell bought it, possibly for this very reason. Jack tips his Uber driver and approaches the warehouse, alone. He knocks on the door, he is let in. Mike Doyle's team keeps their distance, but they listen, ready. Kevin Carroll approaches Jack, still wearing his mask, Jack still hopes that they plan on letting them leave, alive.
.
Kevin: Where is Chloe Obrien?
Jack: Where are Audrey and Tony?
Kevin: That wasn't the deal.
Jack: The deal was a two for two trade. I've already fulfilled half of my obligation. Show me they're still alive or Nina takes Chloe back to CTU.
.
Kevin realized that Jack wouldn't hand Chloe over until he saw proof they were still alive. He ordered his men to bring Tony and Audrey out. Their cell doors are opened, and they come out. They are ready to fight back if they get a chance. They see Jack, Tony is actually suprised that, after what he did to both of them, he's suprised that Jack actually came to save him. As much as Audrey wants to run up and kiss, her captors won't let her.
.
Kevin: You can see they're alive. Now order Nina to bring Chloe or they die.
Jack: Okay.
.
Jack makes a phone call, knowing that Doyle is listening in. He uses the phrase "Make sure she's stil drugged." That was the code phrase to assault the warehouse immediately. As the gunfight begins Kevin Carroll immediately takes cover and puts a gas mask on. His superiors told him to activate poisonous gas if CTU breached the building. But as he enters the code in his own cellphone, he realizes too late what this does. It activates a series of explosions through the warehouse. CTU flee, but several agents are killed. Kevin Carroll and most of his team are killed. Audrey, Tony, and Jack escape, but Mike Doyle and Curtis Manning are killed. CTU still doesn't know what the terrorists are planning next, and they just lost a lot of the people they needed to stop it.
