Hello Friends,

It has been quite a bit since I last posted any new chapters. Personally I have been busy with life and of course now with the pandemic. Life Update: I have moved to Iowa to finish my final year of my Bachelors in Education. I can see the end in sight and I am super excited for what comes next. However, this isn't just a life update its a NEW story.

This story is a rewrite of Eclipse when Victoria first makes her appearance and then there after. I don't know how long I will continue on from my version. I hope you all enjoy and if you have any ideas send me a message I would love some encouraging feedback.

Obviously Twilight is not my creation but Stephanie Meyers and all rights go back to her.

Sincerely,

greygirl1001

Edwards POV:

"I don't like leaving her Carlisle, I know its only for a few hours but I especially don't like leaving her with the dog" I turned to look at him as he walked up beside me.

He nodded but he didn't have to say anything, especially since I already knew that the wolves were an ally we couldn't refuse. Especially since the Denali's responded back to our request, which didn't surprise me in the least bit. I turned to look out the window again and looked down to my phone. Bella had driven over to the reservation an hour ago and since then I had kept my phone in my hand, waiting for her call.

"Hunt Edward, you've been standing here since she left. You could be done by now if you release this anxiety" I turned to him and nodded.

Emmett and Jasper appeared behind me then and smiled. "Come on little bro, let's go get your favorite!"

I laughed and followed them out the back door, letting my instincts take over and my thirst come to fore front of my mind.

Bella's POV:

It had only been an hour since I left and I knew Edward was probably waiting for me to call rather then hunt like he promised he would. I turn back to look at Jacob and the rest of the pack. A few of them are actually in wolf form while the rest were talking to one another. Victoria was on the move and I was putting them all at risk. If I were only like Edward, then this would all be different.

"What are you worrying about?"

I turned to look at Jake and smiled, "Nothing, just thinking."

He smiled that cocky smile and then put his arm around my shoulder.

I looked back into the forest as Jake left to go join them. When I looked back to them they were all laughing and having fun. I was about to walk over and join Emily when everything stopped. The wolves went still and the rest looked to me. Jake shift right then and there and came beside me and rubbed against me.

"Take her back to the Cullens, she'll be safer there. The rest follow them, Seth, Leah stay with me to watch the house and the rez."

I looked to Jacob as he leaped to my side, confused as how he was going to get me back to Edward. All of sudden someone lifted me up and threw me on his back. As soon as I grabbed his fur he took off with others following close behind. I looked behind me at one point and it was all a blur, with hints of colors which could only be the other members of the pack.

After only a few minutes a few of them broke off from behind us and raced off in another direction. I didn't know how we would reach Edward and his family in time but whatever happened wasn't in my hands or even in Jakes.

Edward's POV:

Alice's vision the other day was clear at best, the only sure outcome was that Victoria was coming. We had just returned from our small hunt when Alice had seen the rest of the outcome. She was certain that Victoria would show herself near the border. I had wanted to take Bella as far from her when this happened but Charlie had refused to let her take the trip to see her mother if I went with. It also hadn't helped that Bella wasn't feeling well and that halted my decision to take her as well.

We took off to the border and waited where Alice said Victoria would show. My mind wandered though to Bella and her being with Jacob. If Victoria somehow made it through the pack and got to Bella I would never forgive myself.

Edward she'll be fine, don't worry we will protect Bella and our family.

Carlisle's thoughts didn't help as we stopped on the edge of our land. I stood on the edge, literally barely standing and surveying the land across from me. I kept looking into Alice's mind to see what she had seen. It was clear at best because of the wolves involvement. Just as I was about to ask her if she could look farther to see anything else the Quileutes side erupted with a mass of fur.

As I looked up Jacob appeared with Bella on his back. If I were breathing I would of let out a huge sigh but my thoughts of Bella being hurt were semi erased when I saw her. She looked back to Jacob as he went into the woods again only to return in his human form. I could hear him speaking to Bella and then looking back into the trees. His thoughts were erratic with the information the pack had given him before changing back.

I was about to say something when my family all fell into a crouch. We all could smell Victoria and she was close. Jacobs thoughts revealed that she had first appeared on their side but then crossed onto ours. I didn't know what to do, either risk getting Bella or let her stay with the mutt. Before I could make a decision the unthinkable happened.

He threw her.
