Leaping from roof to roof, Mirai's peach-colored cloak flowing In the wind. This time, she Is on patrol for a suspect which may be close to Mazoku, Overhaul. Together with two other groups, led by Nighteye and Mirio, they are hoping to get a trail.
Pausing to rest, Mirai wipes sweat from her brow. Looking over her surroundings, she takes In the breeze of the city. Taking one last deep breath, she resumed her patrol. Leaping over to the next roof, she examined the alleyways below.
At the same time…
"Sorry, did that hurt?" Midoriya spoke In a worried voice, as he reached down for the girl who'd bumped Into him. "Sorry about my daughter, Hero." A voice, muffled by a mask, spoke. Looking up, Midoriya barely managed to hide his shock.
Shie Hassaikai's Chisaki…
"She likes to play around a lot and gets hurt often. I just don't know what to do with her." Chisaki crossed his arms as he turned his gaze to the girl while Mirio walked over quickly and threw Midoriya's hood on.
"Come on, your hood Is and the mask came off again. Maybe the sizing is off?" Midoriya couldn't respond, as he tried to regain his composure. While Mirio apologized to Chisaki, Midoriya noticed something behind him.
Mirai, who was trailing Chisaki. Her face full of worry, as she reached for her glove. "Ah, there you two are! Don't run off like that." A new voice made Mirai freeze. A man in an unbuttoned black cloak walked past Mirai, and towards Chisaki.
"It's your fault for not keeping up with us," Chisaki responded, as Mirai bit her lip. This isn't a very pleasant situation now. Mirai thought, as she retracted her hand Into her cloak, and walked towards Midoriya.
Shit. What are we going to do?! Chisaki and Mazoku are here, and this child, she's clinging to me. Midoriya thought as he tried to control his expression of shock.
"Wow, It seems we've met up. I guess that completes our patrols for today, right Mirio?" Mirai said with a thinly veiled expression of worry, as she attempted to get the group a way out of the situation
Picking up one It, Mirio put a hand on Midoriya's shoulder. "That's right, I'm impressed today we managed to cover more ground. Let's get going, you two." Smiling, Mirio took a step back. While Mirai stepped between the villains to join them.
"Ah, right… Time to head back with your father." Midoriya's voice was on the verge of cracking as he pried the girl's hands from his chest. As he did so, Mazoku turned to Mirai. "Nice try, Mirai. Better luck next time." He whispered, making Mira's blood crawl.
"H-Have a great rest of your day!" Mirai said as she waved the three of them off. After they left the sight of the heroes, Mazoku grinned uncontrollably. "Those Heroes… so damn gullible."
The group quickly contacted Nighteye.
After Midoriya and Mirio reported about Overhaul, Mirai reported about Mazoku. "They seem to be working together. To what extent I'm not sure." Nighteye nodded deliberating the details in his mind. " Keep this to yourselves."
Midoriya, Mirai, and Mirio all nodded.
In the days following the incident, Nighteye and other agencies collaborated. They created a massive group to investigate and narrow down Overhaul's hideout. After a lot of research, the meeting to discuss the plan was called…
Mirai nervously shifted in her seat. They were revealing the Mazoku secret today, Infront of all these heroes. Nighteye entered the room, causing all the chatter to stop.
"I'm glad we could all be here. Due to our hard work, we have narrowed down Overhaul's location. Before we discuss the plan, I would like to reveal all Information we currently know."
Nighteye went on to discuss the quirks of each Individual they were expected to encounter. Then he revealed Eri and what they knew about her and her relation to Overhaul. The news horrified everyone In the room, but they continued.
"Finally, It's time to reveal one last thing." Nighteye looked to Mirai, nodding, she stood up. "This girl Is Mirai Kuriyama. Connected to Overhaul Is a man known as Mazoku Gesshoku. Long story short, she is from another world."
Before the room could explode from a thousand questions, Nighteye continued. "While I'd love to have her explain, we don't have time. Either way, she is here to stop Mazoku. Mazoku himself controls creatures from her world called youmu. Youmu themselves can not be seen by a normal person only by people like Mirai."
A hero known as Rock Lock raised his hand. After Nighteye nodded to him, he stood up. "How are we supposed to believe this? This sounds outlandish." In response, Mirai took her glove off and formed her sword. Realizing where she was heading, Eraser's head stood up as well.
Activating his quirk did not affect Mirai. "Is that enough evidence? At the very least, you can trust her. Now, If we're past that, I would like to discuss our plan for the operation Itself."
After discussing the plan, The group was dismissed until the date set for Its start. All the U.A. students who attended were Immensely effected by the News regarding Eri. While Mirai had to deal with Eri as well as Mazoku.
Finally, the sun rose on the start date. The group stood In front of the building exchanging glances with each other. "Once they receive the warrant, we'll charge In." The police commissioner held up a note, before he could attempt to give it to them though, the front gate was destroyed.
"What do you want? Bringing all these people so early In the morning?" The Villian spoke, as the policemen eyed him nervously. As the villain spoke, he reared his arm back. Throwing the punch, a massive wave of air swept over the surrounding area.
"...Anyway, we shouldn't split our forces here! Ryuku agency will take care of him. The rest of you go!" Ryuku shouted as she slammed the Viliian to the ground. The group quickly heeded her word and charged Into the building.
They were Instantly met with resistance, as many grunts attempted to hold them back. The policemen quickly pushed them back, allowing the Heroes to push past them. "Use the shortest route, to reach the target!" Fat gum shouted as they pushed the doors open.
