Hekmetyar is adament, he will turn himself over to Sabzi's team, in order to prevent them from detonting their nuclear dirty bomb. Pierce refuses to allow this, but Hekmetyar takes his gun and forces him to let Hunter go. Together they go off to the rendevous point.

At his safehouse Sabzi waits for Mandy's team to call. He and Stasevich disagree about what to do with their dirty bomb.

Stasevich: Mandy was suppossed to call by now, unless ofcourse she was caught and turned on us for immunity.
Sabzi: We need Hekmetyar dead. The world must see him pay for his weakness.
Stasevich: Even if Mandy hasn't turned on us, CTU is undoubtedly looking for us.
Sabzi: Perhaps you are right. We should detonate now, killing as many americans as possible. How long?
Stasevich: I just need a few minutes to prepare.

At CTU Nina Myers overhears Chapelle having an argument with his computer technician Carrie Turner. Carrie thinks she's uncovered a lead, but Chapelle says they're not wasting resources on such a thin lead. Nina wonders about this lead, if it's real or if Chapelle is just laying a trap for her.

Senator Allen is informed about Hayes' attempt on president Donovan. This is not good. With him dead, they have no real way to eliminate Donovan and make her president. Perhaps all they can do now is bide their time, come up with a new plan, and eliminate any loose ends connecting her to this.

Hunter and Hekmetyar arrive and meet Mandy's team. Hunter keeps his gun on Hekmetyar.

Hunter: Tell your people to disarm their bomb, or he dies.
Mandy: What exactly do you think my superiors want?
Hunter: They want him alive for now. Maybe they want intel, maybe they just want to look him in the eye when they kill him. Either way, tell your people to disarm the bomb.

Mandy called Sabzi.
.
Mandy: We have Hekmetyar, but Hunter will kill him unless you disarm the bomb first.
Sabzi: Very well.
.
Sabzi ordered Stasevich to disarm the bomb. He obeyed, and Sabzi sent Mandy's cellphone a picture of this. Hunter then handed Hekmetyar over to Mandy's team, and Mandy shot him in the ehad to eliminate this witness. Mandy's team then fled with their valuable hostage.

Stasevich: You're not really going to not use this weapon against our mutual enemies.
Sabzi: No, this is the greatest blow we can strike against the americans. But Hekmetyar will die for what he did. In the meantime you will take this bomb. Give us two hours for what we must do, but if the americans find you, detonate early.
