Mandy and senator Allen reach the airport. Before she can reach the plane the CTU people quickly surround them. Jack and Tony take the lead, ordering Allen to surrender. She has no intention of allowing herself to be taken alive, she has a gun hidden. But Mandy knows too mych about the operation, she has to be eliminated first. Allen turns towards Mandy, prepared to shoot her ally in the head. Mandy however has made an educated guess as to Allen's plan. Before Allen can shoot, Mandy shoots her in the head, killing her instantly. Mandy then drops her gun, and hands her new captors a computer disc.

Jack: What's this?
Mandy: A computer disc. Even though she was a fugitive she took the time to secure this. My guess is it's leverage, a way to blackmail any remaining conspirators into staying away from her. Maybe there's something here that can help. Just let your people know I turned it over voluntarily. It's the nest I'm going to get.

Chloe immediately begins hacking into this disc, hoping it contains some clue that can help them.

President Donovan silently paces at Camp David. It's relatively warm, still a summer night. He'd take the moment to savor this, if it weren't for the latest crisis. Donovan silently vowed that, whether or not CTU was successful in stopping this next attack, he would contiue to negotiate peace with Hekmetyar. It was the only way to stop more innocents from dying.

The terrorist pilot nears his destination. They should reach their target just after 2am. He knows they won't survive this, but they will have accomplished a great victory for their side.
