Jack Bauer is briefing the president over the phone. Everyone at Camp David is relieved that the plant is secure.

.

Jack: Christopher Henderson was involved in this conspiracy, and the leader at the plant.

Donovan: I know who Henderson is, or was. He used to be head of CTU, until he got involved in a similar conspiracy with ultra-nationalists. I heard you killed him, in self-defense.

Jack: When Henderson agreed to help us stop them I gave my word I would help him escape, he knew it was the only way he'd be safe. I helped him fake his death.

Donovan: Another crime you can be charged with.

Jack: I will turn myself in when this is over. However there are still six terrorists unnaccounted for in this plant. Henderson claimed this was only a bluff, but Patrick Wilson was guarding the reactor with a real explosive. It's possible that Sabzi's operatives infiltrated this operation.

Donovan: As much as I'd like to reassure the public that everything is okay, that might be premature. Keep me uprised.

Jack: Yes sir.

At CTU Nina Myers confronts Ryan Chapelle in his interrogation room.

.

Chapelle: Why did they allow you in here?

Nina: You put the lives of everyone in this building, people they care about, in danger. They're not too interested in protocol right now.

Chapelle: Your pardon will be revoked.

Nina: I've been to prison, I know I can handle it. Once you've been to prison the threat is far less severe. Besides, even if I go to prison, it will be less severe than where I woke up this morning. And let's not eliminate the possibility of a sympathetic jury.

Chapelle: Still, why take the chance of going back?

Nina: Because you set me up, you got my child killed. Tell me why I shouldn't kill you.

Chapelle: Please, I don't want to die!

Nina: I really want to kill you, but there's something I want more. I want you to suffer in prison. Maybe you'll be awaiting execution, maybe you'll rot with no hope of survival. Just know that, if you ever get out of prison, I will kill you. Even if that's a long time, I'll be alive. I don;t drink or smoke, I'll even become a vegetarian. Just to know that you served every minute of your long sentance. You'll either die in prison, or I'll kill you the minute you're released.
