President Donovan is once again addressing the reporters. He is assuring the american people that the plant is secure. The explosion ensured that the reactors wouls shut down, making a meltdown impossible. Hopefully things will calm down now that this terrorist plot has failed, hopefully.

At CTU George Mason addresses everyone. He wants them to know that they did good work.

Mason: I just want you all to know that you've helped save a lot of lives today. I know it wasn't easy, we lost friends, we were all in danger today. But you stood your ground, anyway I just wanted to say thank you.

At the power plant Jack loads Christopher Henderson unto a helicopter.

Jack: If you were telling the truth about cancer, then you'll be spending the rest of your life in a prison infirmary. You won't live long enough to see peace.

Henderson: Don't kid yourself Jack, there will never be peace between America and the taliban. You remember what they did in the war.

Jack: I also remember what we did.

Henderson: And you're still naive enough to believe that peace is possible?

Jack: I don't know. I do know I'll spend the rest of my life in prison, but I like to think that I'm leaving this world a better place than I left it.

Henderson: Face it Jack, my scheme here, your scheme to force disarmament, were they really so different?

Jack: Maybe not.

Henderson: There will never be peace, it's all about survival. Whatever happens afer that, I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Santos watches the president's address when the attorney general's office brings some documents over for the president to sign. Santos reads the document and is suprised by it's content. Could the president really be serious about this?

Jack surrenders himself and is taken to a chopper. They fly off back to Washington, and likely his last stop.
