Jack Bauer arrives at CTU and is escorted inside. As he enters he can't help but notice Audrey and Chloe, neither of whom appear to be in custody, or even handcuffed. George Mason comes over, and suprisingly undoes Jack's handcuffs.

Jack: I don't understand.
Mason: Apparently president Donovan is willing to give amnesty to end the war in Afghanistan.
Jack: What does that have to do with me?
Mason: I guess he feels that you saving a million lives buys you a second chance. Conditional ofcourse on you swearing to never again fight against America.
Jack: Yes, I swear. Do I need to sign anything?
Mason: Yeah, these guys from the Justice Department have the neccessary forms.
Jack: What about Tony?
Mason: Him and his friends too. You have a second chance Jack, don't blow it.

As the sun begins to rise over Camp David president Donovan is meeting with Hekmetyar.

Donovan: I've decided that you're right, amnesty might be the best way to end this war. So you can tell your friends that if they swear to never again take up arms against America, they are free to return to their homes, their farms, their shops. But if they break the truce they will suffer the consequences.
Hekmetyar: And your country will withdraw within three years?
Donovan: Three years, if you can control the extremists, protect the rights of women and religious and ethnic minorities, truley renounce terrorism. After that there will just be an early warning system. And your side will have the aid package, with oversight to make sure it goes to those who truley need it.
Hekmetyar: I will need to present the specifics to my National Assembly.
Donovan: And I will need to get approval from Congress. But can I count on you to fight for this agreement on principle?
Hemetyar: Yes mr president, you can count on me to to fight for this peace.

With that, these two enemy leaders, shook hands and agreed to fight for peace together.
