Chapter 1: Crocus

It didn't take long for our favourite Sunagakure missing ninja to find a town or at least he assumed it was a town. It looked nothing like the towns he was used to. The buildings looked different and the area was so lively. But the strangest part of it all was that none of them had unlocked their chakra. Not a single person, which was very odd. And each person only had barely enough chakra for Sasori to sense their chakra signatures.

Sasori considered himself one of the stealthiest members of the Akatsuki so gathering intelligence without being spotted took little to no effort. He found out that he was in a city called Crocus and that the people in this world had no idea what chakra was, apparently they used something called magic. Yes magic, like the stuff out of the fairy tales. Although the spells in this world didn't seem too different from the ninjutsu from the elemental nations. And he found this all out from one person who he caught in a genjutsu using one of his puppets.

'So I didn't really get a second chance at living, it's more like I got sent to another dimension.' Sasori thought as he sat in a park using a genjutsu to make himself look like a bush. 'Unfortunately this world runs completely on money so I guess I should try and get some of that. Maybe Kakuzu would like it here. I should also get a copy of any laws so I can make sure that I don't attract any attention to myself.' Sasori continued before going to find out as much information as he could and making as much money as possible.

Sasori found out that it was the year X791 which was a dating system that he didn't recognize which didn't surprise him. One thing that Sasori found surprising was that killing is a serious offence with a penalty of imprisonment. Sasori also found out that there was an event that all of the magic guilds participated in called the grand magic games. And apparently there is a prize of thirty-million jewels for the guild in first place. Sasori didn't know exactly how much that was worth, but considering how big the tournament was the prize was probably nothing to scoff at.

So Sasori went off to make a magic guild.

Making a magic guild was surprisingly easy. He didn't have to fill in any personal information or anything of the sort. He just had to write down a name for a guild, draw a guild mark and write down the name of the guild master. Since Sasori was there in his Hiruko puppet he wrote down Hiruko Chiyo as the name of the guild master.

The name of the guild was Akatsuki and the guild mark was a red cloud.

It was that simple, Sasori was one step closer to the money that he needed and the last thing that he needed to do was find another four members to compete with him. Okay, maybe 'find' isn't the correct term, he needed to make another four guild members four him to compete with.

Sasori made his way to a forest on the outskirts of Crocus and started looking through his scrolls to find suitable guild mates. After taking out all of his scrolls he saw a scroll that he hadn't seen before. He channeled chakra into the scroll and saw seven lifeless bodies lying there.

Hidan, Kakuzu, Kisame, Itachi, Konan, Pain and his partner Deidara.

Suddenly Sasori's problem was solved although he did feel somewhat guilty about turning his former associates into puppets.

Sorry that the chapter is rather short, in the future the chapters will be longer but I thought that this was a good point to end the chapter. Thanks for reading and please leave a review. I do not own Naruto or Fairy tail.
