Two trios of Guardians were lounging on the beach of an island on Venus. One A Huntress by the name of Kalara Baxtin had found. The purple-haired huntress relaxed in her lounge chair, watching the sunset. She turned to her teammates, a Hunter named Jarin, and a Titan named Gavin. On the other side of her was the infamous fireteam "Boob squad", Altaira Rediston, (Red), a Warlock; Quantum (Amari Qentin, the team's Titan); and Avaria Laviks (Lavender).

Kalara canted a grin. "So, I have a challenge for you."

The other five turned to look at her. "I'll bet you fifty glimmer that you can't open a beer without touching the heel of your hand to the can."

Lavender and Jarin both laughed. Red rolled her eyes and continued sipping her mixed drink.

Jarin grinned "I got this." The Hunter whipped out his knife and cracked open the can.

Lavender took a can and tried to open it, but to no avail. Gavin reached for it. "Here, allow me."

The Titan tried to get his fingers around the tab, focusing intently on defeating the task at hand. But unfortunately, his strength got the better of him.

The can exploded, showering everyone in range with beer.

Lavender shrieked, jumping up from her chair. "Thanks for that! I needed a second shower today." she deadpanned.

Red and Quantum guffawed in the background.

Gavin wilted a little. "Sorry, honey."

Kalara grinned, pulling out a rag. She put the rag under the palm of her hand. She then pulled the tab. She gave her friends a look.

Red commented "But your hand was on the can."

"No, the rag was on the can, and my hand was on the rag. hmm... maybe I should have been a bit more specific. I meant to say 'making *direct* contact with the can.

Lavender tilted her head. "So who won?"

Jarin and Quantum both shrugged. Kalara shrugged, as well. "I dunno. But I think Gavin just killed it"

Lavender wiped her hair "Yeah, and that beer can, too."

Red put in "Wouldn't you call that 'Alcohol abuse'?"

Lavender gave her a look.
