Chapter Sixty Seven – Interviewing and a State of Euphoria
Waking up from his nap after the second task a few hours later, Harry blinks blearily before putting his glasses on and looking at Wilhelm now sleeping prone on a pile of knuts that had mysteriously appeared. Sitting up in bed, Harry looks around at the empty beds, fading daylight still illuminating the room. Hearing a knock on the window to his right, Harry looks and sees a black owl carrying a six inch by six inch by six inch wooden cube under them, and opens the window to let the owl in. Dropping off the cube, the owl perches on the top of the four poster bed as Harry looks at the cube and pries the top off and reaches into the internally large cube and withdraws a black metal cage with several platforms and a building with an opening on the ground floor.
Clearing off the end table without moving Wilhelm, Harry places the cage on the end table and scoots it towards Wilhelm, causing him to lift his head up and look at the cage in surprise.
"This is for you to stay in while I'm in classes, so people can't just what they want with you" remarks Harry opening a hinged panel on the side of the cage, helping Wilhelm into the cage. Walking as much as he can, Wilhelm explores the cage, putting his nose into various corners before entering into the house and staying for several seconds. Poking his snout out the entrance way, Wilhelm makes an expression before returning into the house, not revealing himself. Waiting thirty seconds or so, Harry gives a smile before remarking, "I suppose he enjoys it then. I'll leave him be until dinner time. Although I do wonder where the knuts came from."
Arriving in the common room, Harry looks around before spotting Daphne sitting by herself, reading a book and heads towards her. "Enjoying your book?" inquiries Harry sitting beside Daphne on the couch.
"Yes it is. How was your nap?" responds Daphne before putting a rectangular strip of paper as a bookmarker into her book.
"It was restful after the dueling. But I'm uncertain exactly what to make of the clue of a dragon but not to harm it, and nothing else" answers Harry lowering his head in thought.
"Perhaps it would be best to read some books on dragons ranging from how to care for one to how to kill, or even consult someone who has first hand experience with dragons. Of what I understand from Ginny, her brother Charlie would be one to speak with" suggests Daphne staring at Harry intently with her blue eyes.
"Reading a few books on dragons wouldn't be a bad idea honestly, I think I'm going to go to the library and see what I can find" states Harry before getting up from his seat and heading out of the portrait hole.
Watching Harry disappear from view, Daphne shakes her head gently before tucking her hair behind her left ear and resumes reading her book. Walking down the hallway and into the library, Harry meanders down the aisles looking at the titles of the books, head cocked to the side. Twenty minutes and zero books later, Harry takes a seat in a corner furthest from the door and begins to brood. Several wordless minutes later Harry stands and walks up to Madam Pince who after finishing with some other students turns to Harry and answers, "And how may I assist you Mr. Potter?"
"I'm looking for books on dragons and there doesn't seem to be any, at least in the title. Do you have any suggestions?" inquiries Harry with a hint of frustration in his voice.
"I'm afraid the other champions have already taken them—" begins Madam Pince before being interrupted by Harry exhaling loudly before saying, "Thank you" in a defeated tone before walking out of the library.
"If you would have bothered to stay and listen, you would have found out that there are a few in the Restricted section still available…" mutters Madam Pince to herself.
Wandering down hallways aimlessly, Harry muses to himself before a voice calls out to him, "Harry Potter, I would like to interview you regarding the second task" remarks Luna coming to a complete stop in front of Harry in the hallway, forcing Harry to abruptly stop.
"Err, when and where were you thinking?" replies Harry caught off guard.
"Oh, why not right now?" suggests Luna cocking her head to one side.
"Erm, where then? An empty classroom?" offers Harry.
Wordlessly Luna walks a short distance and opens a classroom, sticks her head and peers around before emerging and motioning. Following, Harry and Luna enter into the classroom, using their wands to quickly remove layers of dust from a desk and two chairs before withdrawing a roll of parchment, an inkwell, and quill from her bag.
"Before the second task, whom did you think would be the hardest champion to face?" inquiries Luna, quill in hand.
Pausing to think for several long moments, Harry replies uncertainly, "I don't know, but what I do know is that I wanted to face Viktor Krum and I got to."
"Why did you want to duel Viktor Krum?"
"Because of the reputation of Durmstrang having deeper than average dark arts connections. With that kind of reputation, I wanted to see what I could learn from them, and the challenge of course. Viktor Krum is part of the Bulgarian Quidditch Team, and as we are both Seekers, it would also be a thrill to play in a game against him even if it was just for fun" answers Harry getting excited.
"Why did you or did you not think Fleur Delacour or Draco Malfoy would be a challenge?" asks Luna eloquently taking notes.
"I've dueled with Draco before and figured he hadn't really changed since then, and for Fleur…I don't know. I have a feeling it was because Viktor Krum is part of Durmstrang and their reputation that caught my attention more than Fleur's attention" answers Harry honestly.
"How did you come up with your strategy to dislodge the floor to upset Viktor's footing?" inquiries Luna.
"It just…sort of came to me. I had a bit of a problem at a point with the floor being uneven and just went with the idea to destroy Viktor's footing. It worked obviously" answers Harry with a half smile.
"How do you feel about the dueling tournament and how it was set up? What do you think if it was a three person as the Triwizard Tournament was expected to be? How would it work?" inquiries Luna.
Pausing for several moments to think, Harry answers, "I suppose they could have had duel such as Fleur and Krum, Fleur and the third champion if Draco and I were not in the tournament as originally planned, and then Krum and the third champion, and the two champions with two wins would face off for the task win. However, that does not necessarily mean that the winner of the tournament would earn the highest amount of points. Regarding how it was done, I enjoy that I was not paired up with Draco Malfoy."
"And how do you feel about the third task containing dragons?" inquiries Luna.
"Um, I'm not certain what I will do, but I think it will be a challenge, especially since we can't do any harm to them, which is quite understandable. It would be easier to create a strategy plan with more information on what else we'd need to do with the dragons" answers Harry somewhat uncertainly.
"Turning to the end of the second task where you received a miniature dragon and named him Wilhelm, how do you feel about receiving and taking care of a dragon?" asks Luna, quill posed to take rapid notes.
"I, err, feel honestly overwhelmed when I was handed a living miniature dragon that I could take care of or return it so someone else will be able to take care of him."
"What do you think is your biggest challenge with raising/taking care of Wilhelm?"
"Probably feeding him, but he gets some raw meat daily in addition to being able to flit around short distances with his wings, so he goes 'exploring' around the guys dorm some times. He doesn't stay in his cage where he has a bed and water all the time, so we go for walks outside and he explores because I assume he is curious" answers Harry openly.
"That's it Harry. Thank you" states Luna before rolling up the parchment and putting it in her bag before putting a stopper into the inkwell and placing it and the quill into her bag.
/*a little while later*/
"Daphne…would you like to have a Valentine's Day lunch meal with me at Madam Puddifoot's Tea Shop? I received two tickets for their special, the 'State of Euphoria', which sounds somewhat good considering that there isn't any particular description of the meal" inquiries Harry turning to Daphne as they sit side by side in front of the roaring fireplace.
"Why wouldn't I?" answers Daphne sarcastically.
"Perhaps you wanted to do something else other than Madam Puddifoots?" remarks Harry being sarcastic back with a smirk.
"Spending time is what matters to me, not so much where we are. I thought you would have realized this by now" answers Daphne haughtily.
"So Madam Puddifoots for dinner and ice skating afterwards for the Ice Queen then" retorts Harry just loud enough to be heard with a smirk.
/*Valentines Day*/
Walking towards to the portrait hole, Harry stops when Daphne calls out, "Do you have the dinner tickets?"
Holding the tickets in the air, Harry turns around and says, "I might be lacking some finesse, but forgetting the meal tickets is something that my stomach will not let me forget."
Arriving in Hogsmeade around eleven thirty in the morning, Daphne and Harry walk towards Madam Puddifoots, a line out the door.
"Oh my…" murmurs Harry heart sinking into his stomach.
"But you have the tickets, so we should be able to get seated" Daphne reminds Harry gently.
Nearing the entrance of the eatery, the couple grow closer together before the door opens and an pink haired lady in her forties steps out wearing a red apron with a pink heart on the front. "Everyone, if you have a pair of tickets for today's 'State of Euphoria' dinner, please gather in front of me in a line with your date beside you for entrance. If you do not have a ticket, please remain in your line for a chance to enter" instructs the lady in the apron.
"I'll assume that's Madam Puddifoot" remarks Harry before withdrawing the two tickets from inside a cloak pocket, left hand grasping Daphne's right hand.
Stepping into the much shorter queue for entrance, Harry and Daphne proceed slowly until arriving at the ticket taker. Taking the tickets, the lady smiles before her eyes alight on Harry's scar and glasses. "H-Harry Potter?"
Smiling, Harry answers, "That is correct, but I don't need special treatment because I'm Harry Potter."
"So those tickets I gave Sirius Black…he must have given them to you then?" inquiries Madam Puddifoot curiously.
"I'd suppose so, since he owl'd them to me. I didn't make any inquiries on how he obtained them" answers Harry openly.
"He did me a few favors in addition to helping with the warding of the building, but because it was a trainee he said he wasn't going to charge me. So I sent him two tickets as thanks for such a service" offers Madam Puddifoot with a smile.
"He is good with helping those in need" remarks Harry with a smile.
"Thank you. Please step inside for your 'State of Euphoria' meal and time with your betrothed" finishes Madam Puddifoot bubbly.
"Betrothed? Not currently" remarks Harry quietly.
"Oh, so you're not planning on becoming engaged to me?" remarks Daphne, eyebrows raising.
"That's…not what I meant" sighs Harry somewhat exasperatedly.
"Don't worry, we will have a long time to talk about it over this meal. I have a feeling that this dinner we are about to partake of will be meant for eating and enjoying each others company for a long period of time" remarks Daphne as she and Harry are led to a corner booth seats, just wide enough for one person per side.
Removing their cloaks, the couple take their seats across from each other. Seeing the empty crystal goblets to the right of the plate for each person and a small tray with pitchers of Pumpkin Juice and water, Harry picks up the Pumpkin Juice pitcher and pours himself a glass before asking Daphne, "Would you like water or Pumpkin Juice?"
"Pumpkin Juice if you don't mind" holding out her goblet and steadying the base while Harry pours before setting the pitcher down on the tray, the pitcher refilling itself a few moments later.
A few minutes Madam Puddifoot appears with a pad of paper in her hands and smiles before asking, "And what may I start you two off with? We have a few different types of soup such as tomato and chicken noodle. If that doesn't tickle your fancy, we also have a few types of salad such as a Ceasar Salad, a house salad of iceberg lettuce, croutons, grape tomatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, and your choice of dressing, or a build your own with a large bowl of iceberg lettuce with your choice of dressing with several items on the side such as crumbled bacon, shredded cheese, shredded carrots, diced ham pieces, croutons, grape tomatoes, and the likes."
Looking at Daphne, Madam Puddifoot waits as Daphne ponders before speaking up, "I'll have a bowl of tomato soup, please."
Turning to Harry, Madam Puddifoot inquiries, "And for you sir?"
"I like the sound of the build your own salad actually. What types of dressing do you have?" answers Harry curiously.
"We have ranch, ceasar, and blue cheese" answers Madam Puddifoot.
"Hmm, blue cheese if you don't mind" decides Harry with a smile.
"Thank you, I'll bring that out shortly for you two" states Madam Puddifoot bubbly.
"So when you mentioned the engagement, you're not looking for a rushed and cliched Valentine's Day engagement are you?" inquiries Harry slightly nervously.
"I am not" answers Daphne.
"So when I do so, do you care how I do so?" inquiries Harry, butterflies flitting around his abdomen.
"If you choose to do so, I will not be adverse to how you do so" states Daphne calmly looking at Harry.
"After Hogwarts, what do you want to do with your life?" inquiries Daphne curiously.
Blinking twice in rapid succession, Harry opens his mouth before closing it and pauses to think before speaking, "I don't know exactly. I have a feeling that Sirius and Remus would like me to carry on with The Marauders Emporium. I think it would be enjoyable to do so, but at the same time I'd also like to entertain other options. Potion making is intriguing, but I don't think that would be something I'd want to consider for a career. Likewise, I enjoy Herbology, but continuously taking care of them might drain me of a lot of energy that I may or may not like. So perhaps a professor? An Auror would also be an option to entertain. I just haven't given it enough thought. How about yourself?"
"I'm not quite certain myself. Quidditch is more than likely out since I don't really play. But what I do know is that I don't want to be a stay at home parent, I want to go out and do something. Maybe write a book?" confesses Daphne.
"Nothing wrong with that, choose what you want to do with your life" remarks Harry with a comforting smile.
"Not considering the third task but the fourth one, what do you think it'll be or how will you prepare for it?" asks Daphne.
Exhaling, Harry answers, "I think…that the last task will be somehow a culmination of what we've done so far and be on a harder level, if you know what I mean. I'll need to make certain my repertoire of spells is broad enough to cover some of the most likely situations. If I know Hermione well enough, she'll probably have read up on a lot of the previous tournaments and their tasks and might be able to give me an idea on that."
"Why don't you also take a read and give it a shot yourself instead of relying on your friends to do your work for you?" quips Daphne with a smirk.
"Here you go you two love birds~" coos Madam Puddifoot before setting down the bowl of tomato soup in front of Daphne and a bowl the size of Harry's head with a thin, white, and rectangular tray with small bowls containing the toppings for the Build Your Own Salad.
Giving their thanks to Madam Puddifoot, Daphne and Harry spot the unnoticed pink heart shaped napkins that had seemingly appeared out of nowhere, unfold them, and put them into their laps before partaking of their food. Looking through the toppings for his salad, Harry selects half a dozen of the grape tomatoes, some shredded cheddar cheese, a few croutons, some shredded carrots, three pinches of crumbled bacon pieces, and all of the cubed pieces of ham onto the lettuce, before pouring the two sauce cups of dressing all over the salad.
"You do have a point about Hermione and such. I shouldn't rely on her and everyone else as much as I do for stuff that really applies to only me" admits Harry after a few forkfuls of salad.
Shaking her head gently, Daphne answers, "I meant that to not make it your first option/plan. But asking for help is not a bad thing. It is not a sign of weakness."
"Thanks. How are you doing regarding your parents and your sister?" inquiries Harry with concern in his voice.
Narrowing her eyes briefly, Daphne shakes her head before saying, "We can talk about it later."
"Ok. After dinner, I'd like to show you something if you're interested" remarks Harry calmly.
"Of course I'm interested. You are aware that couples generally spend time together enjoying each other's company on Valentine's Day, yes?" retorts Daphne with a smirk.
"Then please hand me your PRT, so I can make certain you can get into where we are going" asks Harry.
"I assume we are going to a Marauders Emporium location based on that, as I am not aware of anything else that would require use of the PRT. Is that correct?"
Nodding his head, Harry states, "Yes, it is."
Removing her dark purple banded PRT with 'Daphne Greengrass' engraved on the top of the finger tall device, Daphne hands to Harry who pulls out his Omni Play from a robe pocket, swipes through a few screens and then lightly touches the PRT to the back of the Omni Play and then removes it when a message on the screen says ,'Update Completed Successfully' and hands it back to Daphne.
"Do you have any plan on telling me before hand where we will be going or will you be leaving it as a surprise?" inquiries Daphne as she claps the device back onto her left wrist.
"You shall see after dinner, as it is always open" answers Harry continuing to eat his salad.
Finishing their appetizers in quiet, the two move their plates and bowls towards the edge of the table before Harry looks around with a puzzled look on his face. Hearing the barest murmur of voices, Harry remarks quietly to Daphne, "I…don't know if anyone else is really eating. Or if they are, it's really slowly."
"Yes dear, that's what most of the couples are doing here, staring off into each other's eyes, snogging, but eating their meals slowly. Hence the heating and cooling charms placed on the dishes to keep them from getting cold or hot, whatever the opposite is of what they ordered" answers Madam Puddifoot picking up the two bowls from their table.
"Why?" inquiries Harry confused.
"Because this might be one of the few times that they can spend hours with each other, especially those from different Hogwarts Houses. Also, most don't understand how to fully utilize the equipment that your family sells, such as the use of the PRT bands. I'm sure you've come to that conclusion by now. If they knew how to some how link their PRT to the Omni Connect of their lover, what is stopping them from visiting each other during the night?" offers Madam Puddifoot candidly.
Pausing to think, Harry speaks up, "I hadn't thought of that use honestly."
Suppressing a snicker, Daphne quickly regains control of her face and manages to go back to normal before Harry looks over at her.
"Anyways, the technology that you and your family provide is quite revolutionary, at least considering what we have compared to the muggles. The ability to watch video content from a slab that can also let you listen to music, look at stored photos that have been organized in the Omni Connect" continues Madam Puddifoot excitedly.
"You seem to know a good bit about our products and how they work" remarks Harry surprised.
"I've seen things come to pass that I never thought would occur in my lifetime. Now there is a general lack of content from the video streaming service, apart from the Triwizard Tournament and the ability to rewatch the Quidditch World Cup" adds Madam Puddifoot.
"Yes, there is a lack of content minus the Quidditch and Triwizard Tournament content, but I'm hoping we can get some other form of content to be viewable consistently, such as the muggles have on the telly. I figure some form of news channel might be a more viable option at first though, as both The Quibbler and the Daily Prophet have access to publishing their written content on the Marauding Network" comments Harry getting more excited.
"That would be somewhat interesting. I do believe that there is a lot of potential for the network, just not enough available to make it lucrative enough to drive enough people to it. There are a few games that can be played over the network both in real time but also in turns of a few days, but how much allure does that have for the users of the network?" inquiries Madam Puddifoot curiously.
"We've seen a steady amount of network utilization/amount of people playing games through the match making service, so there is a market for those who wish to jump into it. However, there is a payment system that is lacking that the muggles have in place, though some are irresponsible with it and have racked up considerable debt. We are working on a system that can benefit all and be easier to utilize" adds Harry enthusiastically, smiling.
"Harry…" speaks Daphne.
"But getting such a system in place is…giving us fits, especially if we try to involve the goblins for access to Gringotts financial access—" begins Harry before Daphne leans across the table, grabs Harry's face in her hands and holds a kiss for several seconds before returning to her seat.
Flushing deep red, Harry stays wordless before Madam Puddifoot pipes up, "So for the main course we have tilapia both breaded and unbreaded with your choice of two vegetable or a 14.2 oz steak in the shape of a heart with two vegetable sides."
"The steak, please" chorus Daphne and Harry.
Smiling, Madam Puddifoot states, "Two heart shaped for the lovebirds coming up then" before walking away.
"What was the kiss for?" inquiries Harry puzzled.
"Because I wanted a kiss?" answers Daphne giving Harry a look.
Shrugging his shoulders, Harry responds, "It was pleasant at least."
Rolling her eyes, Daphne asks, "So how was your interview with Luna about the second task?"
"It was…fairly interesting and straight forward. I think it should be out soon if it hasn't already been released" answers Harry openly.
"And you decided to only give interviews to Luna because of Rita Skeeter's devious ways to twist and turn words around and make you seem like an immature individual, correct?"
"Yes. The interview during the weighing of the wands was the final straw, as she had done despicable interviews and pieces regarding Sirius and Remus, such as the shame of besmirching pureblood for working with a werewolf, trying to change things and create items that are more muggle-like, and that wizarding society doesn't need such items as they are not 'innovative' and 'pervasive of a wizarding society that is perfect'. Luna mentioned previously that her father runs The Quibbler, and while many people scoff at The Quibbler, I saw it as an opportunity to help bring a wider audience to the publication. And I knew Luna would have more pertinent questions to ask and not twist my words into some jumbled fray of nonsense" answers Harry with a smile.
"So you're admitting you used Luna for personal gain while also providing a reader boost to The Quibbler, yes?" accuses Daphne with a smirk.
"Short answer; yes. Long answer is that I'm tired of talking to an egotistical journalist who warps people's words into things that they aren't just to sell copies of the paper, and a second benefit is that the Lovegood's business gets a boost from me granting exclusive interviews. Another benefit is to be able to sit down and talk with Luna one on one and spend time with a friend" answers Harry.
A few minutes later Madam Puddifoot arrives and sets down their entrees in front of them before placing the dishes holding their sides in front of them before slipping away wordlessly. Taking a few bites of steak, Daphne looks at Harry and asks, "How is your steak?"
"Full of savory juices with a hint of pink. The taste overall is…umami. Delicious, and just enough to satisfy one's hunger while leaving enough for dessert" answers Harry smiling.
"Agreed, and there is still dessert to be had afterwards" comments Daphne savoring a bite of her steak.
Clearing their plates cleans of food, the two stack the bows at the edge of the table before Madam Puddifoot picks up their dishes before coming back a minute or so later and placing a large white square bowl with a brownie with four scoops of vanilla ice cream in a separate bowl in the middle of the table before placing a rectangular plate with small and symmetrical bowls filled with toppings such as cherries, rainbow colored sprinkles, whipped cream, chocolate syrup, and strawberry syrup with spoons for each topping.
"Do you like your brownie with or without ice cream and or other toppings?" inquiries Harry grabbing one of the two dessert spoons.
"I enjoy both combined?" answers Daphne uncertainly.
Getting a spoonful of brownie and ice cream, Harry points it towards Daphne, looking at her expectantly.
"You are aware that I have been able to feed myself adequately before now; what has changed to make you want to do this?" states Daphne narrowing her eyes.
"I was trying to be romantic but I failed apparently" answers Harry seriously before retracting the spoon and putting in his mouth.
"You seriously wanted to try the couples thing where they feed each other? Fine, we can do it if you want" states Daphne flushing a little.
Smiling, Harry goes for another pieces with his spoon before Daphne speaks up, "But I want some toppings on my portions."
"We don't have to feed each other the entire brownie, I just thought a few times might be romantic" states Harry openly.
"OH, a few times is fine then. I must have misunderstood your intent then" remarks Daphne before opening her mouth as Harry leans over a bit and puts a spoonful of brownie and ice cream in.
Exiting Madam Puddifoot's Tea Shop a half an hour or so later, Daphne and Harry walk hand in hand towards the edge of Hogsmeade, going against the tide of students and staff mixed together. Nearing the edge of Hogsmeade, Harry glances over both shoulders to see if anyone else was around before continuing forward on the brick laid path lightly covered in snow. Continuing in silence as snow begins to fall, the couple stops as Harry looks around before walking up to a tree stump and tapping his left wrist briefly before walking through the strand of trees before disappearing. Reappearing several seconds later, Harry smiles and says, "You just need to tap your PRT against the stump briefly and then walk forward. Then you can see what I want you to see."
Following Harry's instructions, Daphne follows through the hidden gateway and pauses as she arrives through the gateway. "Wow" exclaims Daphne looking around at the twin two story buildings across from each other and a third building with three stories further away.
"I assume these are the flats that were offered as a place to stay when it was still trying to be decided where I would be?" inquiries Daphne slipping her hand back into Harry's.
"Two of these buildings are, yes. The third with three floors is the administrative building, where issues are addressed, rent is paid, etc. Now what is done with the rest of the building is uncertain, but the first floor is for the village/housing issues" answers Harry as he and Daphne walk slowly deeper into the village.
"Have you all given any thought to a name or even how much Hogsmeade might come to resent this location if you are competing with them?" asks Daphne.
"As for a name, no. There aren't any definitive timeframes for opening to the public at this time, so it's staff housing for now, as there aren't many flats built yet. Regarding competing with Hogsmeade, we aren't going to offer the same services such as restaurants, general shopping, etc, just housing. So it's a way to increase the population around Hogsmeade, especially for living locations for witches and wizards who may not have the funds to buy their own place right of Hogwarts or even other schools. If you didn't notice, the brick road goes even further away from Hogsmeade and that's the Warding School/arm of the business" answers Harry as they arrive at a planter in the middle of the pathway with brilliant red roses growing.
Looking at the roses, Daphne inquiries, "How are the roses growing during winter time? Warming charms?"
"Yes, and some care from myself because I-" begins Harry before gently plucking one from the garden and handing it to Daphne before continuing, "wanted to give you something I had taken care of myself for Valentine's Day."
"It's beautiful, but I don't have a place to keep it safe on me" remarks Daphne with a hint of sadness in her voice.
"Then let's check the admin building and see if there is anything there we can use" suggests Harry before heading towards the building.
Entering the sparsely furnished first floor, Harry looks around and spots a glass vase, walks over and grabs it before filling it with some water from his wand and handing it to Daphne. Muttering a thanks as she grasps it by both hands, Daphne continues looking around as Harry talks about the structure and layout. Exiting the administrative building, the two walk to the flat furthest from the admin building, the one on the left when entering the village.
Walking up the pathway, the couple enter and Harry gives a tour of the floor plan including the second floor where Daphne asks, "Was this the flat I'd be inhabiting if I were to move here from the house reassignment event?"
Shrugging his shoulders, Harry responds, "Possibly. The other possibility was the flat across from this one, next to the admin building as I believe it was built for either one person instead of two or for three. It's probably both single and two or more until we check for certain."
"Anyways, it is a very pretty flat. Are there any plans to make some more mobility friendly such as more on one floor for those with issues walking?" inquiries Daphne before setting the vase down on the carpeted floor gently.
Cocking his head to the side, Harry pauses before responding, "I'm honestly not certain but that definitely does sound like something that should be brought up to Sirius and Remus for the possibility."
"Good, I think it might be nice for some to have that option. So how about some ice skating?" asks Daphne with a bit of curiosity in her voice.
"Sounds lovely, we can come back here later for the flowers. Perhaps I picked them too soon for you" responds Harry before the couple exit the flat and then the village, hand in hand.
Author note: Thanks for bearing with me for five years (half a decade!). It's been a great run and I'm not even entirely done with the series obviously. Thank you all to whom have followed, favorited, etc to both me and the fanfic. Honestly, this series would not be here if not for you all for reviewing, pointing out my mistakes, offering your opinions and suggestions, etc, so once again I thank you all. I can barely wait to get to the fourth and final task to show my hand that I've had planned for…months? Years? Will it be exciting? I hope so, but we shall see. Just in case anyone is wondering why I write in first person, it's because I try to place myself into the situation and what actions I'd take. The style isn't for everyone.
