Rescue, secure and contain. It was a suicide attack where all the bets were made on one single horse, who lost. The villains didn't managed to capture the golden boy and quickly enough their forces were overwhelmed by the sheer amount of masked heroes in the area.
"Next time go for the vitals first imbeciles!" Coffin was shouting as he was getting removed from the tree he was impaled onto. Channel too survived by removing a small amount of jelly from his face once he realised Shigaraki's Quirk allowed him to decay objects quickly.
Amongst the five that fought against Ragnarök, Momo and Jiro were unscathed, Ochaco and Ida had to be treated of minor burns and some damaged tissue while Midoriya had to be hospitalized because of his broken limbs and burns caused by lightning strike. It was a terribly unpleasant operation. The bone moving doctor was not only real but also very creepy. He has long slender metal like fingers curved outwards and looked like some medieval torturer rather than a doctor. He did put back Midoriya together without much problem and without the usual damage he sustains to his limbs once he uses his Quirk but it was one of the most painful experiences he ever went through. As for what happened to the blue skinned boy. Everyone was brought into a large meeting room where his condition and what's going to happen with him are to be discussed. El Santo along with Midnight and Aizawa were to bring the news to the students.
"As you know we've recovered one sole survivor from a nearby tribal village. There's a second reason for why this resort it built here. While it's true it is used to train aspiring heroes it also served as an observation facility to a group of local tribes native to the area which possessed Quirks. The mountains we've warned you about, they are part of a larger mountain chain which acts as home to around twenty of those tribes. They are mostly peaceful although they have their weird traditions of meeting and fighting amongst themselves from time to time to establish dominance and create marital ties." Then El Santo rises a picture of his among numerous others. "He's a well known thief from around here. Through the years he's even been imprisoned in a nearby town while the policemen were unaware of who he was and his Quirk. In prison he was given the code name Alphonse Sabas to easily recognize him and taught how to speak Portuguese, Spanish and English. He didn't stay for long in prison though as his Quirk is quite particular. He is able to summon stacks of corn which he can enter and exit at will. While we've kept him under observation we've deduced he can teleport between them as long as there's enough corn to hide his body and at the same time he can move things around through these fields of corn, usually weapons or things he stole from us."
"The most important part about him is that soon he's going to become your new classmate. Once we're going back to Japan we are to take him with us. Not only was his village completely annihilated but his Quirk is also very sought after as he is capable of creating fields of corn out of nowhere meaning he can feed cities, armies possibly even a small nation without struggling too much. We're taking him to Japan where the chances of him being attacked by some revolutionary militia are close to zero. We have better chances fighting off the league of villains rather than a whole army."
"A young exotic boy! How interesting!" Midnight says lightening the mood. "Imagine the cultural boost you'll all get from interacting with him and all the things we can learn about Quirks from other cultures. He'll pretty much become an ambassador of a whole new culture."
"He'll pretty much become incognito. We'll have to treat him as a student since we're suspecting he might have some huge scarring problems thanks to the attack. We've analysed his brain and it shows some really unusual patterns linkable to the trauma. So, until he is capable of travelling you have time to get used to the idea of having a new student in your class... Questions?"
"Yeah! Why the hell was Deku allowed to go on and fight the villains while we were sent back to base with our tail between our legs?" Bakugo asks angrily.
"It was a case of on the ground constant changing parameters. The villains wouldn't allow the five students to retreat so we had to send them forward. It was my choice to send them on a mission as conscripts for the mission." El Santo says leaning back in his chair.
"Tch, it pisses me off. Somehow he's always the one getting into action"
"You should count yourselves lucky you didn't had to face villains directly. It was a matter of life or death on the battlefield. Masked hero Coffin and Channel nearly didn't made it out alive, one of them has major injuries that will put him out of commission for months and the other lost all his limbs in the fight! A hero is never reckless, a hero always takes the optimal approach and tries to follow it"
"Ah, alright, alright. Are we done here? I want to enjoy what's left of this 'vacation' while I still can."
"Very well, you are dismissed." The students leave but the three teachers remain inside the room. After everyone left they continue their discussion.
"We've searched through the village for survivors and we've found none. Nearly three hundred people killed in the attack." El Santo says with a disgraced look on his face. "What's more is... what we discovered about Alphonse. Since you so gracefully accepted to take him in we'll share all the informations we've found about him."
"That would be really helpful." Aizawa says but El Santo stops him short.
"I won't hold a grudge if you chose not to take him with you after I tell you the whole story. In his village, while taking the bodies to give them a proper burial, we've discovered traces of only two Quirks, Alphonse's and someone else's. All the people in the village, just as we've experienced in most of the other tribal villages don't have Quirks. The few born with them are venerated as demigods and become the ruler of the village. Alphonse was an orphan and he grew in the village without anyone knowing where he came from, or at least that's what we were told by the police that took him into custody. Inside one of the houses we've searched we found a huge amount of books, mostly stolen from our resort and nearby towns. They venerated him as the god of maize and built altars in his honour. He might have some weird god complex about him so you'll have to deal with that. The worst thing though, the majority of the dead villains we've found had obsidian blades stuck in their bodies which are compatible with the weapons he can summon from the corn stalks. From what we know he can summon a limitless amount of primitive weapons from his corn fields, or he goes to a hidden place where he has them stockpiled."
"So you're telling me a child killed nearly all the villains that attacked his village?"
"Not all of them. Some have been attack by something else. Something more violent, we even found traces of a second person with a Quirk that fought alongside Alphonse. That person created wounds that forced all the blood out of the body of his victims."
"Like a vampire sucking their blood?" Midnight asks.
"Something like that. Someone punched the villains with such force that he tore the flesh off their bodies then suck all their blood through the wound. Since we haven't found any dead person with a Quirk all we can assume is that the second fighter either fled before the battle was over, was a third party interested in capturing Alphonse or is capable of using Alphonse's corn rows to teleport like he does."
"So if we bring Alphonse with us we might be bringing some kind of super muscular vampire?"
"I won't even ask you to do it now that I've told you all the details" However, once the details of everything that happened were sent back to Japan and the teachers alongside the authorities had time to debate they decided it was more beneficiary for Alphonse to come to Japan as people were really interested in those over the night growing fields of corn as wide as the eyes can see. It was a corporate move but nothing could be done about it. South America was too dangerous for him to remain there as all the revolutionary villains could start hunting him down, Africa and Europe would have been overwhelmed by USA's interests in acquiring him so the only logical conclusion is to send him to a third party state which won't just use him to strengthen their grip over the world or risk of losing him to violent revolutionaries.
Their leaving wouldn't be timed together though. Before Alphonse could leave the country there were so many bureaucratic procedures that had to be done and there was also the problem of having to use the powers of a masked hero to soften Alphonse's arrival to Japan. The masked hero Sage had to intervene. His Quirk, Bountiful Wisdom allows him to take any learnable skill and share it with others as long as he has access to someone who has that skill. Since Japanese is a language that can be taught Sage used his powers on Midnight who chose to stay behind and return to Japan alongside Alphonse once everything was done.
Several days after all the students left... Midnight was complaining but not because the procedure was so long.
"Can't you just slow it down a little? There are so many places I didn't had time to visit yet!"
"We're really sorry for being effective ma'am but the papers are all done. You and Alphonse can now return to Japan without any hindrance."
"Oh, and I was hopping we would have had time to get to know one another better."
"You're really not setting a good example for the Japanese people you know?" Alphonse says as he follows midnight around as the procedures are finished.
"You can't blame me, there are so many temptations here... the beaches, the ruins, the dancing."
"Japan is an island, it has plenty of beaches for you to go there."
"Mh yes, but here is so much easier to go around and enter the spotlight, back home everyone knows who I am, it is so hard to draw people's attention when everyone already knows you. Here I can play with them as much as I want."
"Why were you left behind? You are no example of adult supervision I need!"
"Oh, but I can give you some adult supervision any time you need." The officers at the airport were giving Alphonse a look like 'you're in all over your head kid'.
"You've never flew before right? Should I smother you with my bosom and calm you down with my Quirk? You know how many would commit crimes to have this kind of attention."
"I dread to think about it." The plane takes off and for a while they calm down but half way through their flight Alphonse asks:
"So, Midnight... what kind of place is Japan?"
"You should start calling me teacher you know. Addressing me by my hero name is... improper" She says with a lewd expression on her face.
"Would you cut it down?"
"It's a nice place filled with good people and some villains but those are there just for us to have fun putting in jail!"
The next day in the morning class A-1 has lessons as always but unaware to them Alphonse would finally be a member of their class.
"Well students, it's time for you to greet our new class member, Alphonse Sabas. He'll join us as new hero in training. I'm expecting you to treat him like part of the class." Then Alphonse enters and Bakugo starts treating him like part of the class.
"Wait a second. How come he joins us? Aren't we supposed to be the best and most capable heroes in training there are? Why the hell is he skipping all that?" Alphonse with a huge grin on his face makes a weird O figure with his hands above his head and says:
"It will be a pleasure to become your friend! Now that we're friends, friends don't let friends say embarrassing things, so shut up" Says with the fakes smile on his face.
"Are you trying to start something here you blue creep?"
"Let's take it outside"
"Calm down both of you or I'll make you. Bakugo makes a good point though, Midnight was supposed to test you while you were waiting for your papers to be done. Since she didn't even bothered I guess we will have to do it now." So they went out and started the tests.
First it was the 50 metres dash.
"Alright, all you have to do is run as fast as you can, you can also use your Quirk to help yourself out in reaching better results."
"Alright, then put a giant 0 next to my time. I can reach any point within my field of view. Observe!" He says as he summons two bushes of corn. One at his location and another on the other side of the school training field. In mere instants, just as he enters one stalk of corn he exits from the other.
"I can even be in two places at once!" He says reaching with his hand from one stack of corn while the rest of his body was inside the other."
"Jumping?"
"Does it count if I start the jump from here, teleport then exit from anther stalk?"
"So, I'll just add infinite to that too? Throwing objects?"
"Eh... Does it count if I?"
"No, just throw the ball! Oh, why even bother. What need do you have to throw a ball if you can just teleport your hand on the other side of the field. Are you satisfied Bakugo? He has the skills to be a hero."
"Not yet, we need a mock battle don't we?"
